What do u think. I think it Will be cm10 still because its still named jellybean. If so will they just add it to the current nightleys
Sent from my SGH-T989 on Jelly Bean goodness!
It will likely stay 10.x since they didn't change numbering between Android 2.0 and 2.1 which was a minor update and still called Eclair.
The first letter of Jelly Bean is the 10th letter in the alphabet, so it's named Cyanogenmod 10. This is, how they're name their roms.
it may be cm 10.1

Yep, just as google names the android version, one letter after the other....
Cupcake / Donut / Eclair / Froyo / Gingerbread / Honeycomb / Ice Cream Sandwich / Jelly Bean
Thats why the CM versions are in order...

LOL! thats true but note it here?! really funny man
A developer has already managed to boot a "ram disk"
That alone seems to be motivating people.
Is there any chance to have ice creams in x10mp?
Ice Cream, not likely. Ice Cream Sandwich on the other hand, maybe.

Is any dev working on an x10 mini Pro Ice Cream Sandwich rom??
The source code is not available... CyanogenMod team doesn't start CyanogenMod 9, so we can't have custom ROM based on ICS...
Yooo, this was released earlier today. Relevent?

The AOSP source code for ICS is available now. CyanogenMod 9 work has already begun. It is only a matter of time now for an amazing dev to either make an X10 mini Pro custom rom based ENTIRELY from the original ICS AOSP core source code; or to make one based on MiniCyanogenMod9 nightly/Final release..... I can't wait for whichever amazing dev it is to do this!!

speaking of names, Android versions follow alphabetic (similar to Ubuntu) codename based on a dessert or sweet treat:
pre-release Astro, Bender
Android 1.5 Cupcake
Android 1.6 Donut
Android 2.1 Éclair
Android 2.2 Froyo
Android 2.3 Gingerbread
Android 3.x Honeycomb
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
Guess first letter of Android 4.2 or 5.0

Android 4.2 (or 5.0) - Key Lime Pie (i read it somewhere on the web...)
Stupid question - what version of Android is CM10? ICS like CM9 or JellyBean?
So far I've found all sorts of information on CM10 (features and nifty doodads) but not a shred on what version the operating system actually is.

Sweet, thanks!
I have a Noob question. I have a P7510 and am hearing lots about the UI on the new ROMs. What are the differences between CM10 and CM10.1? Which one is better? Why would I choose one over the other? Are both Jelly Bean and are both maintained? Is there somewhere I can go to research the features and keep up with the changes? Thanks

Google "Tablet UI 4.2" and you'll see articles about the UI and click Images and see the change. Jellybean kernel is maintained by pershoot, everything else is based on ROM changes made for all devices. I have a Nightly Discussion thread that you can in the dev section find with links to changelogs in the OP to stay up to date on ROM changes.

Which version has the Tablet UI 4.2? CM10 or CM 10.1? Are both versions Jelly Bean?
For those interested I found this article explaining the 4.2 UI issue.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/1...s-just-like-a-giant-phones-and-thats-a-shame/
What do the Tablet users think about this and whether we should push for a custom ROM to change the UI back??

CM10 is 4.1 and CM10.1 is 4.2. Both are jelly bean. 4.2 removes the old honeycomb (3.0) ui and changes it to the new UI which makes it look uniform on phones and tablet with navigation buttons on bottom and notification on top. If you Google search difference between jellybean 4.1 and 4.2 I'm sure you'll get a more detailed explanation.
