Thank U dear, I'm going to upgrade my Neo L with this kernel:good:

Help me unbrick the devie..
Hey, this is shiran. I was trying to install a custom rom on my sony xperia neo L mt25i firmware: 4.1.B.O.5.8.7
The device is already rooted with an unlocked bootloader and i have also installed a clockworkmod reovery on my phone and have already backed up my phone..
while i tried to install a custom rom through cwm i already had done the necessary steps i.e format system, clear dalvik catche etc etc.. but when i clicked on "install zip from sd" my device displayed " cant open package''..then i realized that i had chosen the wrong file...so i switched off my phone to connect it to the pc to copy the new file but when i restarted the phone it hanged after loading the SONY logo...i tried a lot and even tried to enter the cwm recovery mode by continuously pressing the volume own key but the device didn't respond a bit...
then i made the mistake of flashing my phone using the flashtool 9..when i restarted the device it blinked a green flash light...i think my operating system is gone..is it so...??
and can u please guide me how would i unbrick it,,
Thanks..

Man you told.... You formatted everything....
Then how would your phone load.... After you deleted all....
As for your cwm not working....
I think it's because you're on stock kernel....
Flash custom kernel using flashtool
And
To UNbrick
Flash your stock firmware through flashtool ....
Done....
Next time take a backup through cwm before flashing custom Rom!
Enjoy

Testing Going On Please Wait... ok
Tested 100% working + all things working ...
you can see visible changes between 2.0.A.0.504 and Generic 2.0.2.A.0.2 ?
Just curious
I have also 2.0.A.0.504 what is technically different between 2.0.2.A.0.2.
I have rooted 2.0.2.A.0.504 and everything work's fine so is there a need to change?
Still a noob have patience!
^^ the perfomance of the phone is much better with the update, just a little ..
@TS
do i need to run a root application of this? or everything's smooth sailing after installing the update?
also, do i have to do the xrecovery thing? can i skip that part and do the FlasherTool instead?
U need to do all the things as update.zip contains all files for root and the flasher files necessary to flash as it includer kernel , user data and all.
Sent from my U20i using XDA App
The diff. I can see is of speed and battery consumption. And changes in framework. Else is in sony ericsson apps which I dont use.

by this do you mean that it takes a longer time to drain the battery?
can it last more days before needing a recharge?
what apps sped up? how did you measure the speed?
@x10bravia firstly the apps on the phone took more time to launch nw its more faster and the phone is less laggy.... and earlier when i put my wifi on and the battery consumption in 8-10 hrs. is 30-40 and now it is 10-20 ....
@donetus if u flash your phone with this firmware u will have your xrecovery working as it is made from xrecovery x10 mini pro tool..
@ctalcant i dont if this will work on u20a or not.... but i'll let you know in some time if this isnt working then i would also make one for u20a u jst have to give me the update files from you seus

root with the cmd program.
Update over the air.
you will have now .62 rooted
After that install cwm.( download an app named x-parts from play store)
You will have .62 rooted with cwm.
From now on you might want to consider any custom rom if you have unlocked bootloader.(For locked bootloader check this

Then just re-install cwm.
(just to let you know to install any recovery you need root. Also although some mobile devices such as Samsung have a recovery pre-installed our xperia neo (v) doesnt.)

DOWNLOAD
Omega 3.4 - Aroma fixed
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kernels
Use a .587 based kernel like VDS or Xkernel
For UNLOCKED bootloaders
Connect your Xperia to your PC.
Create a new folder named "UPDATE" on your phone
Copy the downloaded zip to the folder "UPDATE"
Now disconnect from PC and turn off your phone
Turn on your phone again and press the volume down button when the blue LED at the side turns on
Select Factory Reset
Select Advanced
Select Wipe Delvick Cache
Select Wipe Battery Stats
Now press back button to go back to CWM main menu
Select install zip from SDCARD
Navigate to folder "UPDATE", and select the Omega ROM.
Follow the on screen instructions in Aroma and select Arc S as build and reboot when finished.
For LOCKED bootloaders
YOU MUST HAVE OFFICIAL ICS INSTALLED ALREADY
Before trying this method, you should know how to restore Phone using SEUS update for just incase anything goes wrong...
1) Root with 'Root_Exploit_OneClick'.
If you have already Rooted then there is no need to Root again...
If not then Follow Steps Blelow
a) Turn ON USB Debugging mode on your Xperia Phone and
b) Enable Unknown Resources
c) Extract the zip file Root_Exploit_OneClick.zip to your desktop
d) Attach the phone to pc, Open the 'run me' batch file. Phone will restart few 2-3 times and when it boots to Desktop, you will have Superuser application installed which is sign of successfull Root..
2) Install CWM Recovery
Again if you have CWM Recovery installed then you dont need to do this step
If not then just download the Application
Now download 'Xperia CWM Auto-installer' by pvyParts to install CWM recovery: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5wdnkuQ1dNaW5zdGFsZXIiXQ
3) Download ZIP
4) Reboot to Recovery by pressing Volume Down key when blue LED light blinks or the Display brights up
5) In CWM Recovery, First do Full wipe and also format system, then install zip and follow aroma instructions and select arc s as build
INCASE THE METHOD DOESNT WORK OR YOU ARE STUCK WITH A BOOTLOOP then JUST RESTORE VIA SEUS UPDATE OR FLASH FTF..
NO-Frills CPU will not work on locked bootloader

Stock 4.4.4 23.0.A.2.93 Deodexed & Zipaligned Patch

Hi Everyone,I Have Deodexed & Zipaligned Z3 Compact's 4.4.4 23.0.A.2.93 Firmware
This Was Meant For The Xperia™ Z3 Compact With The Model Number D5803 Or D5833
Requirements
Unlocked Bootloader Currently
Rooted
CWM Recovery
After The Root Will Work On Locked Bootloader,You Can Also Flash This On Your Z3 Compact With Locked Bootloader
You Will Need To Have A Rooted ROM With CWM Recovery
You Must Be On This Firmware (.93) To Flash It
Please Note That The Zip Only Contained System App,Framework & Priv-App
It Was Recommended To Flash This Zip On A Generic Firmware That Doesn't Contain Carrier Apps
The Odex File Will Be Deleted During The Installation & The Carrier App May Not Work Properly Because This Is Based On Generic Firmware
Installation:
1.Download The Zip & Move It To Your Phone
2.Boot Into CWM Recovery & Flash It

4.Done

Really appreciate your efforts, yet .93 firmware is something no one is interested in (anymore). Things have progressed to .98 or even .105 (UK) in the meantime...

Hello people, I ran into a problem while flashing this rom.
I'm coming from Marshmellow, so I wiped /cache, /davlik and /system, then I flashed the rom and did factory reset.
Now I'm just getting the sony logo when trying to boot.
And can't enter the recovery.
please help,

The resolution to this problem was the repair mode of the xperia companion application.

I'm on a locked bootloader and flashed the twrp recovery on the downgraded stock marshmallow 23.5.A.0.575 via a .bat.
After encountering the problem I wrote about the other day, I reverted to stock marshmallow .291 with the xperia companion application and performed the mentioned downgraded once again.
Now I'm on a different Rom.
But I appreciate the help, thank you.
