Does anyone know why keyboard buttons don't work occasionally? It's driving me nuts, nothing works, I have it on every rom.
Do you have a custom lock screen app? That causes some keys to not work sometimes... somehow.
I used to have the same issue. Drove me nuts too.. same issue on HTC one s...

For some reason my Atrix (running ICS CM7 PreFinal) has random screen on's.
For example, I can be using it, switch the screen off in the normal method, then as soon as I lay it horizontally on the desk it switches back on.
Anyone had this before? Or know how to fix it? I assume it is because of the proximity sensor getting confused?
Have you tried using a another ROM to make it isn't a hardware issue?

I am having the same issue on CM7 12112011 Nightly. I have random display wake ups and in addition I often have the screen turn immediately back on after turning it off.
I hate to say it but it sounds like a hardware issue. To double make sure it is, try a blur ROM. That's what the phone is used to running.

Maybe is some app that activate the screen when you change from vertical to horizontal check your configs and apps, also try another ROM without any app to see if it happens, i think another ROM may fix that.. idk, but i hope it helps ^^

Are you by any chance using Juice Defender?? I think that may be the cause of my issues (posted above). I have been using the same settings in Juice Defender with numerous ROMS, even previous CM7 nightly's and stable CM7 without encountering this before. I disabled the time out feature in Juice Defender and the problem seems to be fixed.

This is exactly the issue I have. I'm not convinced its hardware as the original blur rom didn't do this.

And to update, no I am not using Juice Defender. It is a defacto CM7 ICS build.
The right side of the screen does not recognize touch. I reverted back to Bamf 1.10 and it has no issues. I try to move an app to a screen on the right and it is stuck. It will allow it to go to a left screen. P and : don't work when texting. Any suggestions?
7.0.1
I just tested with 7.1.0 and get the same issue
Baseband 1.48.00.0906w_1,0.01.78.0906w2

Found it was my digatizer. Not the rom. Hardware failure

I am having same issue using 3xpreSS BoITODJDubHD. So how did you correct the problem. How do you fix the digatizer?
I didn't fix it. I believe it is a hardware issue. The keys on the other rom were bigger so I could still use the p. I still have a deadzone.

Hi guys, just like the title says, this is my problem.. when I open Camera app or turn on Torch, something near camera lens starts to vibrate and I have to bang it. I'm running CM 9.1 (aosp camera app) and Chameleon 1.3 (stock sammy app). At first I thougt it is caused by the CM, but why also on Chameleon ? Will this problen disappear if I flash original stock firmware ? I wasn't experiencing this before I started to play with flashing so I hope the phone is not damaged in any way..
thanks

My phone also does this sometimes. Have always noticed it. A lot more so with cm9 though.
Haven't found any answers. It also seems to get extremely hot.

Anyone? Is this harmful for my phone?
I have noticed.when.the.torch.is. on if i have the screen facing down it vibrates constantly almost every time.
The moving part is the focus module of the camera.
It, however, should only move for a short time.
It usually only clicks for me.

It vibrates until i bang the phone gently on my hand. When vibrating the camera gets extremely hot
I think this is a hardware fault as it has been like this since i got the phone in november 2011, i have tried pretty much every kernel/rom/modem out there. So i know it is not software related. Unless it is canera firmware? I have updated this too.
Edit:
Since i have had the phone it has never vibrated like this whilst using the camera for pictures.
Always when i use the torch. 90percent of the time when i face the screen down with the torch on, it has rarely done it with the torch facing down.
Bump

I need help guys. My touch screen isn't working right. I can't touch 2 places of the screen at the same time. Like when I play grand theft auto 3 I can't press gas and the turning buttons at the same time one of the buttons stops. It makes playing games impossible. I've restarted my phone twice already and it still doesn't work. I got this problem last time and I fixed it by clearing touch input data but it doesn't work any more. Any help is appreciated, thanks. (Don't know if this helps but im on ics 4.0.3 with sense 3.6 non rooted)

Hi, I have just purchased my new s3 2 days ago and I'm loving it.. Until now. It is a rooted s3 32gb running cm 10.1.3 stable.
Here's the problem, out of nowhere my s3 touch screen started playing up. The input lag is far greater than it was before and my keyboard has become really sluggish and slow. Also, the touchscreen will also do weird things like if I try and click on an app it flips to the next app page instead. I've tried different kernels, killed apps and fully optimised my device to 100% yet it's still the same. I even reflashed my room but still no change.
The strange thing is that the device still performs tasks flawlessly with no problems, it's just the touchscreen input that isn't doing what it should.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Just fixed the issue after 5h of trial and error, it was caused by having magnification gestures on in the settings menu lol :/
