It's way too basic.
No undo/redo.
No automatic cloud backup.
No selection tool.
No thickness setting for the pen.
Unable to create separate notebooks.
Unable to insert text.
Those are just the basics that I found to be missing, but it really lacks so much. S Note is fantastic and came free with our phones.

Yup works great! Thanks!
Awesome works on VGA can't wait for the rating to be there..
Nice! Going to try it out now
Excellent app.just what have been needing.works great on my kaiser qvga.
thank you.
regards
lohtse
Cool app.
I can't wait to see it with more information displayed within the app though. Like which actors played which characters and the trivia and goofs and that such.
Keep up the good work.
awsome!
dude,
Great job..its quite simple and fast !
i was looking for something smiler, coz no app as my knowledge does that in our lovely WM, I have the reader with IMDB data base, but for the new movies what shall we do !!!
anyway, I think if will add more info, i mean every thing should be shown in the app it self will be more than perfect, and also i think the most info is this :
1-User Rating
2-Plot
3-Genre
4-Actors
But, dude, thanks again and may god bless you
see you in next version bro!
Great App. Thanks.
Ya think Steve Jobs will try to restrict use of iPhone API's?
I applaud you for releasing the source code. Have you considered creating a Google Code project for this?
Blade0rz, many thanks for this really nice application to tap into IMDB's vast resources. Like shabek, I look forward to additional info especially Ratings, Plot/Sypnosis and Ratings. One comment is that I noticed the image aspect ration is distorted. WOuld be great if we can have the correct image aspect ration for posters and actors. Thanks again and I will be tracking this daily
app runs good on my omnia i910. it would be great to have a synopsis of movie and ability to select the actor and have their info come up. also, i cannot go back once i pull up a movie. i have to close the app and reopen it again and perform another search.
this is a great idea and thanks for contributing it. i look forward to future releases
Nice app, it works on my Rhodium WVGA, but has some problems installing.
When installed (I can't choose to put it on my phone or external memory), I can't find it in the thumbnails. To open the program, I have to search it in my Explorer (my machine / Program Files / IMDB Mobile).
It also has some minor problems with the landscape; I can type, but it doesn't respond on the 'enter' command and the pictures are stretched to halfway my screen. The text doesn't go to fullscreen either, only to halfway.
The landscape thing is not a biggy (especially since it's the first beta and you cracked the iPhone program), but am I the only one who's having the installing problem?
But besides this, a great app! It's the #1 app I've been searching for lately and I'm very thankful that you've been putting effort in making it!
[edit]
I've noticed where the installing problem is. When you instal the app, it sends the shortcut to the folder "Windows / Start Menu". Maybe it's because I've got the official Dutch 6.5 ROM, but my programs are in "Windows / Startmenu".
Thanks Mate , very Nice , works like a charm
At the moment, its more of a proof of concept more than anything. I have implemented Plot, Tagline, Directors, Writers, Rating so far from the movie details.
The API also contains data for Quotes, Cast, Trivia, etc so all of those will eventually be implemented.
The app isnt a port of the iPhone one, it just uses the same data. Any interface issues are my fault
Hopefully should have a fully functional beta by the end of the week
can't wait buddy!
Post here about what improvement did you find in ICS and what do you like about it..
The swipe to clear notifications and the auto spelling correction.

Panoramic camera is pretty awesome. Like the music settings, more control. Some nice dev features
Changing the right click is real nice too. Also, the google voice input is pretty accurate.
the smoothness and responsiveness improvements

Did anyone find improvements with the WIFI?
everything so far. still figuring and finding out the new features. is there any kind of documentation that lists or explains all the new features that comes with ICS?
Has anyone been able to find the camera unlock feature? I don't think Asus included it in our build. :-(
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using xda premium
If you are referring to the camera shortcut on the lockscreen... you just slide left.
I'm digging the new font, Roboto. Looks great and it's used in more places than I knew. Really freshens things up.
To go along with the swipe-to-close notifications, there's not the X to close all notifications at once. That's welcome.
The new Settings panel is much more nicely organized.
The stock browser seems to perform much better, and I like the option to enable desktop mode per site rather than overall. That way I can go with a mobile site where it makes sense but quickly select desktop mode when desired.
Seem to be lots of little (and big) changes like that. I'll be doing a factory reset just to make sure nothing's gumming up the works.

Built-in photo editor

Here's a pictorial version...

1) General speed of the tablet, night and day compared to HC 2) Wifi better range and speeds on speedtest.net app, actually better range than my Bionic now. 3) Swipe Gestures. 4) Camera updates, crazy good zoom and overall much improved.
Those are the first major differences I saw. Others feel free to post your own observations.
I like nothing. This update didn't fix my WiFi/Bluetooth issue(s) so this device and the dock are going back in the box to be returned to amazon tomorrow. Unless someone on backorder desires to buy it from me for the full price I paid on Amazon .

Simply put, the improved wifi. I can actually use the thing now! Streaming flash videos also work properly!
- create folders
- inactive apps that you don't use or want to see in the application drawer.
- faster switching between to power options
- smooth UI
- better browser experience/options/UI
- built in photo editor
This is not maybe ICS thing but things that also came with the update.
- New widget "Asus Task, manager"
- better screen color
- no need for tapatalk, xda now is really fast in the browser if you set the XDA theme to classic
the speed plus they over clocked the CPU to 1.6ghz for us!!!
the touch responsiveness is wonderful!
I also found a cool setting if you have the dock in Asus customized settings with the mouse if you select gesture mode it allows you to zoom web pages with the track pad! its sweet!

If you do a little digging through the threads while the max output has changed to 1.6 it isn't scaling any higher than before. So the potential is there but it isn't enabled.

Here are some of my favorite self-help Android apps. These are the ones I actually use regularly.
Content Intake / Note-taking
Audio Speed Changer - (link) - Lets me listen to audio programs faster or slower. - Great audio program that allows you to speed up or slow down your audio tracks from 25% - %400 (like VLC). Easily loads tracks by folder w/o a playlist, you can set start and end markers, etc.
Aldiko Book Reader - (link) - My ebook reader of choice.
CamScanner -Phone PDF Creator - (link) - Awesome app that allows me to take photos of articles or things I see while I'm out and creates a PDF right then and there of the snapshots.
Diaro - diary writing - (link) - My preferred journaling app.
Easy Voice Recorder Pro - (link) - Best voice recorder I've found that's quick to launch and use. Voice memos, recording meetings, etc.
Health and Fitness
A HIIT Interval Timer - (link) - The best programmable workout timer I've found. I love this app. It also vibrates your phone so if you're listening to loud music, you feel it.
Instant Heart Rate - (link) - Uses your camera and LED flash to get your pulse. Works great!
100 Push-ups - (link) - Straight forward pushup workout program to get to 100 consecutive pushups.
CC Tracker - (link) - An app made for logging your Convict Conditioning workouts.
Sensor music player - (link) - I love this music player when I'm working out. It uses your phones sensors to skip the track and pause the player (via shake, waving your hand over the phone, etc.)
Nutrition
Fooducate - Healthy Food Diet - (link) - Scan the barcode on any food item and get nutrition notes on what you're eating and drinking. Love it.
Dirty Dozen - (link) - Quick access to the fruits/veggies with the most pesticides and the least pesticides.
Productivity
Astrid Task/To-do List - (link) - My preferred "To Do" list. Syncs with my calendar, great reminders.
StayOnTask - (link) - This app allows you to set a time interval where it checks on you to see if you're staying on task.
Business Calendar - (link) - Just the best calendar around for a variety of reasons. It's been worth every penny to me.
Gentle Alarm - (link) - I love the pre-alarm (doesn't wake you up if you're in deep sleep). The regular alarm slowly gets louder and louder. You can set a safety alarm that's super loud. You can make it say stuff to you. All sorts of great stuff.
Fashion
How to Tie a Tie - (link) - How to tie like every tie knot there is.
Sex
Sex Positions- (link) - Great app with user submitted votes. Add variety, have fun, have a great conversation.
Sex Positions #2- (link) - Same as above but more.
Spirituality
Buddhist Meditation Trainer - (link) - Gives you an idea to meditate on for a few minutes a day.
AMAZING ZEN QUOTES- (link) - Great grounding quotations.
Zen Koans - (link) - Zen Koans.
Miscellaneous
Guard My Angel - (link) - This app is amazing and I just had to include it. For those of you with people you care about and worry about it (girlfriends, etc), it's a way to make sure they get home safe and if they don't it sends alerts to people without intervention. (Not really self-help, but I thought more people should know about it!)
1. Dropbox / Google Drive
2.Swiftkey
3.Pulse
4.N7 Player
5.Super Video Floating
6. Evernote
7.Chrome

Fandango
Google Translate
Barcode Scanner - scans everything
Tiny Flashlight + LED (good for phones that may not have widget to enable LED flash as flashlight)
WiFi Tether
Sent from my EVOLTE
At the moment, it would be Minimalistic Text combined with Tasker.
Just now learning how to pass info from Tasker to MT and making custom widgets.
PkMn Tweaks -
Apex Launcher - Allows more rows/columns on home screen. I hide the bottom dock and use the Home button to launch the app drawer. I also set the app drawer to scroll vertically.
NFC Task Launcher - Set up and run NFC tags.
Torque - View my car's data from ECU (boost, EGT, etc.), plus data logging and check engine code scanner.
Chrome - Syncs tabs and bookmarks with my desktop Chrome.
Play Music - Syncs my music so I don't have to.
Real Racing 2 - The best racing game on Android. Looks great on the new Evo!
Titanium Backup - Makes flashing less tedious.
WiFi Tether - I add a widget to the home screen to enable/disable tethering.
Just started using Perfect Keyboard and its awesome. I was a longtime swiftly user, but I think this is better.

Pen window launcher, to add any app to pen window and start them without air command.
4 way multiwindow (and you may skip pen window launcher because you now can run any app in a small window).
SPenBoard switcher, to switch to stylus beta when pen is out.
Also Moon Reader Pro is a useful app to view/read books with htm format.
Office Suite Pro is as nice as Quickoffice.
Office Suite is better than Quick Office.

For me, most useful apps have been:
Fx file explorer: easy and user friendly but powerful.
Titamium backup : certainly ess for someone like me that change the rom every week! !
Colornote: I tried many note keeping apps, for me this was most useful.
Navitel and viber and of course xposed module with wanam to customize multiwindow apps.
Which "Multi Windows Manager (Multiwindow capability to all apps)" works well on our Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (SM-P601). Can i get the link to play store...... Thanks
Does anyone know if you can get bigger work space with Evernote? I find the workspace to be too small. The working space for 1 page in like LectureNotes are much bigger but LectureNotes lacks the option to transform handwriting into text.
