Were you connected by Wifi?
Trying to send a MultiMedia Message (MMS - aka pics or video over text) when connected by WiFi will often fail, unless you update your APN settings...
See the thread on MMS over WifI
Hey DC,
No I was not connected to Wifi and I usually have excellent signal. I have no problem sending pics.
Wrong Section.
Thread moved to Q&A.

Since it is 2.2.1 wifi calling does not work yet. If needed you must use a 2.2 ROM.
Thanks man appreciate it
Hi all, I'm a noob (just watched the You're a Noob video haha)
This is my first smartphone, so I realised for threaded messages they arrange it according to the time received (by you), rather than time sent (from whoever sending the messages).
While this arrangement is intuitive, I was wondering if there was anyway I could look at the time when the SMS is sent, as timestamped by the telco. I tried searching but all I found was something similar for Galaxy S, so I was hoping someone can help me out
Have a nice day!
We just need to wait for someone to mod the mms.apk
That's been done for SGS2 already and was posted in the dev area iirc

That's what the search is for. Go to the dev section and search for MMS and you get 1 thread...

thank you! unfortunately the mod doesnt seem to work without root I want to at least last the warranty period before rooting my SII
I'm certain I had seen an app either here or on the Nexus S forum ... went through 16 pages, but couldn't find it
The app I'm looking for is sort of like a notification app. When I receive a call on my phone and my phone is not within sight, a notification is send to all wifi enabled devices on the same network. For example, my phone rings and I get a pop up on my pc or maybe my smartphone notifying me!
Can someone help .... please?
Thank you
Sorry can't help you, but I will watch this thread as that app sounds very interesting
Found it http://code.google.com/p/android-notifier/ in a reply to your question in the Nexus thread
The GMail-App on my Xoom and my Nexus S (both with Android 4.0.3) is driving me crazy. In former times I could easily report mails as no spam.
That doesn't work anymore. Instead I guess it should be possible to mark the mails and label them as "Inbox". But that doesn't work, either. With some luck, it works with 1 or 2 mails, but the rest stays in SPAM, even though at first they disappear from the spam-folder.
Isn't there a way to do that? Why is there no real option to mark the mails as no spam?
Regards
McDV
Hi McDV,
I just upgraded to ICS and I am running into the same issue.
Given how few responses have been given, I think I'm missing something very obvious.
Did you manage to solve it already, and if so, how?
Thanks,
Charles

Help Please: Samsung Galaxy S3 - How to disable this annoying sms warning?
Jelly Bean update triggered this warning.
Sometimes I am sending 3000 SMS in 30 minutes.
Could you walk me through the process?
I have rooted my phone so I can access any folder.
Is any way to modifying the quota? Where do I have to go?
Please help, need this desperately. Thank you. THV

Hello again to all good willing people out there. Just to clarify, I'm a Pastor and all the sms are sent only to people who register for sms info and encouragements, but only people connected to our church. I dont do spamming. When I send 3k of text sms at once, it may be a long text spanning over serveral sms. If anyone can help, I will be very grateful. Thank you.
