MROM
"Somebody's" CM10 with "those libs"
MROM because I need working camera/camcorder and GPS that doesn't turn my phone into a raging inferno.
Is there a reason for this thread?? If it's just to get a census of who's using what, why don't you put up a poll??
By the way I'm using Epinter's cm10.
Another newbie here
Love mrom for its stability and battery life
Looking to jump to a stable jb with good battery life. If you find one please let me know! I'll continue to read forum posts on ongoing projs.

Hey what's up is that kernel built in, and if not, why use it and the phone already runs at 1ghz, I am newbie please enlighten me

I'm using ePinter's CM10 ROM. Great daily driver if you can live with spotty camera and no video, which I can.
I'm currently using Th3Bill's ParanoidAndroid 4.1.2 and it's an awesome ROM.

Am not sure about other kernels working with Darkyrom as i'm using the Super Core kernel that came with the rom which i know doesn't support overclocking.
You'll see when you get you phone that it really doesn't need overclocking as it's lightening fast already

LeoMar's rom for the personalization and mods that are very simple to install with kernel speedmod! GREAT
I can only recommend Villain ROM (very close to stock, works like a charm) and the speed mod kernel. My phone is very fast and the battery consumption is great.

Nottachtrix4G is the best, hands down.
http://www.nottachtrix.com/
Cyanogen mod 7.2 or MIUI.
These are pretty much the only built from source roms.
The thing about cyanogen is too not judge by appearances. It doesn't look that spectacular stock, but allows dynamically loading themes...something almost no other roms do. I hated it at first, but after an hour or two got it to where I wanted it to be.

So far Neutrino 2.5 GT using faux kernel 1.3 Ghz or 2.5 EE using faux kernel 1 Ghz suitable for me or Cyanogenmod 7. Tried twice with Jokersax and Turl for CM9 but the keyboard really uncomfort. The Dark Side and NottachTrix4G nice and clean but made my ROM full loaded and for the NottachTrix the flash wasn't so easy for the newb playing with Aura Installer

Nottachtrix4G definitely. I used Neutrino, it was pretty good. But Nottachtrix4G is better.
If you want it to be blur based (which is what I wanted), you should go with Nottachatrix 1.29b

Yeah...and to think...I'm porting AOKP and Paranoid JB to the Atrix as well (which I don't own) as well as MIUI to Atrix and Samsung Infuse...LOL
My JB fav is CNA. This one looks to have some nice options, but right now, CNA has integrated the most features, and has excelllent battery life. However, the Camera experience is a little lesser compared to AOKP. Xenon was really nice mix of the 2, but is missing things like screenshot, which I think should be one of the first functions on a rom....LOL

Hi guys.. which android version has better battery life??..jb or ICS??..
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
both are more or less the same unless you change the kernel and do some tweaks, but as all know JBis snappier than ICS so i would go for JB
For me JB (XWLSD) is much smoother than any android 4.0 version! The battery lifetime is nearly the same. If you use Hirox 5.1 on JB you have a very good battery lifetime
