No. I have not managed to make it work in any way. I've copied to / system / app and I have given the permissions RW-R-R and yet, does not even appear.

Ok try this one, hope is the one that I downloaded from facebook. There was another one from this forum some guy trying the same thing, but I am not sure if is the same. I did not try it, so proceed with care.
Do i have to install in CWM or i have to extract it and copy to system/app?

of course, you can use both methods, but the zip is to be installed in recovery. Should work on CWM or xRecovery the same. But as I said, I am not sure it works, anyway, I did not test it, proceed with care , have first a backup.

[Help] Mango goes Unrooted after flasing HaSa MIUI ROM.

Title says it all..
Tried rooting using Doomlord's method while on the above mentioned ROM, it said ALL DONE! but on reboot, my phone's still not rooted.
Reflashed the KRsH's Kernel too, but still no success.

What to do?
Device?
Which device do you have?
When I installed MIUI I got a root fix.zip to flash in recovery and I got root access back.
Not sure if it supports your device though, unless you have an active, mini pro etc.'
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Device: Xperia Active
Android Version: 4.1.1 Jelly Bean
ROM: FXP CM 10
Kernel: FXP
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks I will try that the next time I use that ROM
Now I'm back to ExMIUI..
I have reported the the Developer of HaSa MIUI ROM about this issue and he has said he will try to fix it in the next update
BTW if you allow root access to all apps then the issue is partially solved. You can have a look here

[MOD][CGROM]Disable Pointer

Hey guys, When the pen is used on CGROM, the pointer shows up... Its really annoying, so I made a small flashable package to get rid of it...
Download here: http://www.mediafire.com/?g5iic8u352vw79v
MD5: f2d23d827a870e43451c5bfc709d104c
For those people who are having trouble flashing it:
1. Download and extract the zip.
2. Copy the framework-res.apk to your sd-card.
3. Using any file manager with root control, move it to /system/framework. (Overwriting the old one)
4. Set permissions to 644.
5. Reboot... Enjoy!
NOTE: This is not an official release by yncconsulting!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If this helped you or you like it please click thanks!
Thanks for the file but when I try to install it I get an error in the installation process it said status 6 whatever that means. Any ideas.
Maybe an md5 for the file.
Sent from my HTC Express using xda premium
Alright, fixed... Redownload, check md5, flash away!
Md5 matches but still getting installation aborted (status 6) something I am doing wrong but I don't know what I could be doing wrong flashing with CWM any other ideas?
Sent from my HTC Express using xda premium
Hmm are you using the CWM that is flashed by HC Multi Tool?
OP Updated.
worked great
Thanks for this it worked great and now the pointer is gone thanks for the great work.

Depends on what your using to copy it... But this is standard:
Press and hold the file until you get the options menu, find permissions on the list and click it... Make sure it looks like this:

Nope, it won't look at ICS Build Prop
#ro.build.version.sdk:15
ICS only supports Apps which have API 14 or 15
You Can check the Android Manifest of the app by yourself. You can see that it mentioned <uses-sdk minSdkVersion="16" targetSdkVersion="16"
So, you basically know what I mean now

You can push the file. But it won't work. It only creates a useless classes.dex on your Dalvik Cache folder.
