CM File Manager With Root Access Comes to CM10 - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

The Cyanogenmod Team have integratred a new file manager for cm10 which allows Root Access, probably will appear in next nightlies called only as the CM File Manager. Maybe in next Jellaxy or PAC or AOKP builds we might be able to have its taste

Works on everything above Android 4.0. So answer is YES

I got an parsing error on cm9 and galaxy tab 8.9 with stock ics. Is there a tablet view?

I used the System App Pack to create a flashable zip, and it worked fine. But if you still get the error
1) You can download the sources from GitHub and compile to make APK.
OR
2) Wait for Sunday when the next Jellaxy Update comes with the File Manager pre-installed.

Well as much as I know it is using the HOLO style from Honeycomb, so I don't think there will be any problem with Tablet, you can though compile it from Sources, using the XDA auto Tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1053227

Just for a confirmation guys that the CM File Manager APK is not workin in each and every CM10 ROMs. Even Galaxy S users are facing the same problem

But you can use Root Explorer and copy the Apk in system/app/ and set permissions( to write for User) and then Restart.

In most ROMs the CM File Manager is not working properly with standalone installations.

It's a good new feature from the Cyanogenmod team but it needs more improvments and developping..
