Hey guys! First of all, sorry if this thread is in the wrong place.
I have a Xperia Neo V (MT11a) and sometimes it freezes when I'm playing HD Games. I've been looking in google how to improve the gaming performance of my device, and I found that the best way is to install Night Elf Kernel + Stock Rom 2.3, I've been reading about how to do it but now I realize that I'm a noobster in this and I don't want to screw my phone. Can anybody help me plz? How do I install this Kernel or anything else to improve my Neo's performance?
Model Number: MT11a
Android Version: 2.3.4
Baseband Version: 8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028A-49
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.9-perf [email protected]#1
Build Number: 4.0.1.A.0.283
Rooting Status: Bootloader unlock allowed: No
Thnx for the help!

If you really want to try something new i would recommend upgrading to ICS or jelly bean. The custom roms are amazing and you will be very impressed. But it's up to you. You seem pretty happy with what you have now...

I would recommend a ICS or a JB ROM too. Especially the JB Roms are working pretty good. I was impressed myself.
And the Battery is also much better with JB Roms than with ICS. Then you have a variety of new Kernels to try out.
And if you are Newb or noob don't flash 4.0.4 pls

I had a look at this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1316394 Rom, noting that, for Kit Kat is a kernel download to flash.
I wonder: are necessarily obliged to flash the kernel or I can take any (as long as they do not present any incompatibility) of the list of only the kernel and flash the rom?
In addition you have any suggestions on kernels and roms Kit Kat? In particular I am interested in the appearance

2.Installing app on sd-ext
3.Overclock
