Works on 4.1 AOSP/JB ROMS ONLY
SAMPLE
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Download the Android 4.2 Launcher apk file and transfer it to a convenient location on your phone.
2.If you are using a Nexus Device or running an AOSP /AOKP based stock Android ROM, you need to be rooted. Download Titanium Backup and uninstall your default Android 4.1 launcher. 3.Now using a File explorer like ES File Explorer or Astro, navigate to the location where you had transferred the APK file for the Android 4.2 launcher, in Step 1.
4.Install the Launcher apk, and enjoy the default launcher from the upcoming Android 4.2

Hi, I'm using Walton Primo R1. But I've installed Himax Pure ROM on it and surprisingly see that the stock android browser is absent in the ROM. So I copied the browser.apk and browser.odex into system/app and applied rw-r--r-- permission. But the browser icon did not show up in the UI after rebooting the phone. Please note that my one is odexed system.
Hello,
I'm running the latest JB Beta on my Huawei Ascend P1, I've came from Cyanogenmod ROMs which are based around the stock feel which I love. Just wondering if it's possible to replace a few system apps so I can get the stock dialer and contacts?
I'm thinking I'd have to replace the Huawei themed files named:
'ContactsEx'
'ContactsStorage'
'Dialer'
with the stock JB ones named
'Contacts'
'ContactsStorage'
'Dialer'
Could I simply pull the apps from Jelly Bean and push them to system and overwrite the original files?
Cheers!
Hi to all. I modify the Jelly Bean Themed GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522895 to make it more thinnest like in Apex launcher, ADW, etc... I made another KitKat style themed version. Hope you like it For install u need root access, copy the file GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk into /System/app and apply permissions, finally reboot ur phone and look at the results
I've extracted the CyanogenMod Phase Beam live wallpaper from my OnePlus One. How do I go about installing this on my non-rooted Moto X?
