Hello all,
I have a few questions, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if C4droid and GCC plugin for C4droid work on this device Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 US? I am really looking forward to working with these two apps. One last question does any pdf with bookmark capability work with this as well? If anyone could share this info with that would be greatly appreciated specially with the C4droid and GCC plugin question.

I am not familiar with this app at all, but I went to the Play Store and it said that both C4Droid and the Plug-in were compatible. (Or, it didn't register them as incompatible, anyway.)
To know for sure, it would require that you download both APKs and test them. If C4Droid doesn't work on the SGP 5.0, ask for a refund or for the developer to implement compatibility for the SGP 5.0.
However, as you probably know by now, if you are running CM9 on your SGP 5.0, hardware acceleration and camera do not work. I do not know if C4Droid needs HW Acceleration or not, but again, download it; try it; and if it doesn't work ask for a refund.

Hi friends
This app seems like a good document editor for MS office and pdf, the user interface looks decent and there are dropbox, Google drive integration.
I'm curious on trying this app, but my Tablet isn't eligible for the download due to region restrictions.
Could a kind soul grab the app for me on Google Play and post the apk here?

works on my HTC flyer, couldn't DL it from the play store...

It's incredibly amazing, though also paaaaaaainfully slow... not the connection, just the interface. I'd mainly need this for Excel (haven't found an Android Office suite that does XY scatter plots!) but the sluggishness would need some getting used to on my otherwise very fluid device.
The interface is pretty annoying to get around in, since it's so cramped. Luckily my dock's touch pad can help with that. What's weird thuough, is that it doesn't recognize some physical keyboard-specific inputs, like arrow keys. You'd think they might have tested for that?

There was an update for Cloudon posted in July, does anyone have this version? Can't get it from the play store on my phone or my tablet (HP Touchpad). I need it for school, my laptop is in for warranty and I don't have a lot of spare time to sit in a lab, I have to work while taking a bus.
Edit: Version 2.0.7.33 is the latest.

Could someone with a tablet upload the latest .apk
I got latest phone version through my old HTC Desire(Bravo) but when I install it on my Padfone 2(Which does not have official support for this app yet) it only enables the phone version of this app.
While the version posted up here enable the tablet mode but because they are to old it won't let me login. Giving me an error that these version of the app are to old and no longer supported.
If anyone is interested the phone .apk I can upload it.

can anyone modify the last working google music apk to not look for updates and or clone it and make it standalone. I know i for one am looking for something that allows me to have the nexus q enabled music apk and the new one both on my phone at the same time.

If you don't care about using Google Play Music 5.0:
Find old apk (4.5.9 I think)
Uninstall 5.0
Turn off automatic updating in market
Install old apk
???
Profit
This is the only thing I did, wasn't too wowed with the new features of 5.0.
I also don't know what it would take to add the functionality to 5.0 :/

Ok well the no updating might not be possible from editing the 4.5.9 app.
I looked around the 5.0 app and it definitely doesn't have the Tungsten support files so it isn't just missing visually
I'm wonder what is involved with porting the Tungsten code to the 5.0 app...

Have a look at drawable-hdpi/ic_media_route_on_holo_light.png or ic_q_solo.png or ic_q_multi.png and tell me that again
It really looks like its partially there, just not up front. Wonder why....

It may be built out but disabled, maybe because they had to disable it to get the contracts for Google music unlimited access.. Wonder if there is a labs type thing in Google music...

i am not up on how to program i know some mild code but im sure this can be done if a dev would have a few hours to figure it out for the community i for one would happily donate to whoever gets it figured out
I saw this little Samsung widget from a You Tube video. My current ROM doesn't have it, I don't recall seeing it with past ROMs either. I searched this forum and don't see it here.
I hunted it down through Twitter of all places.
Maybe it's not included on N7100 .. anyway it's tested & works fine, lightweight. It clearly tells how many apps are active, clicking it leads to your built-in Task Manager.
It's an apk, just install normally.

I find Samsungs App store can be picky on the keyword, also they try to detect your device and determines weather or not it is compatible for the app. If it's not or unknown they don't display it. I think custom roms might have a issue in this regard lol.

Hi Hemant. Unless you live in New Zealand, this app won't suit you. It's a paid app by the NZ national weather service, only shows weather for NZ.

this widget wont work on custom roms do you no how to get it working on RemICS-JB_v5 rom as its one of them widgets that's a must have ive read and tried loads but still cant get it working any help would be great thanks in advance

Sorry I don't know how to get it to work on custom roms, my guess is the widget needs specifics from Samsung touchwiz roms possibly the framework that Samsung uses or could be the kernel, but I honestly have no idea.
Ok, so I've seen that some users have been able to connect this controller to devices like the Nexus 5, so I'm wondering if it's possible on the N9?

However, the app it recommends (USB/BT JoystickCenter Free) using hasn't worked for me so far. I get to the step where I enable the touchscreen driver, and I get a message that says "Can not get access to '/dev/uinput'. Please install a Custom ROM with root rights."
I'm still at stock on this tablet, but it is rooted. Super SU is installed and working well with all other root apps.
I checked Super SU, the JoystickCenter has been granted superuser permissions in it.
Anyone have any advice on what to do? Anyone get a controller working with it?
I googled the issue and found out that some devices need a special custom kernel to enable this. Are any of the existing custom kernels set up for controller support?
I'd love to pull this off, because I just got KOTOR for Android and would love to use a controller with it.

Flashing a custom kernel might help. I guess you need a kernel that provides the /dev/uinput device.
"uinput is a linux kernel module that allows to handle the input subsystem from user land. It can be used to create and to handle input devices from an application. "
I've got the same problem on my Oneplus One, the controller is recognized but I can't switch on the J>T option wich is vital to make the controller work...
Anyone has a solution ?

On the YouTube vid you linked, someone posted in the comments that setting SELinux to Permissive helped him out.
I was gonna try this out, but the app has been pulled from the store. If it gets reinstated, I'll try it with the custom Rom I'm running (Dirty Unicorns 9.2 test build, LP5.1)

Hey, can one of you guys post the apk for the free version of the app. The app is no longer available on the PlayStore, and the developer doesn't have an XDA page. A Google search only brings up suspicious warez sites.

I used Aptoide to download that app, you can find every apps that are no longer available on the playstore using aptoide market.

Mizuu is an app which will gather video files on your device and create your movie & tv show collection, then sync with trakt.tv.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for alternative apps that can do the same thing? I think they're called "scrapers" but I really am not sure.

So a few months have passed now, and Mizuu is officially retired. I haven't been able to find a worthy replacement, any suggestions?

Yes, unfortunately Mizuu has been progressively deteriorating without the support of the developer. I believe he made the code available for anyone else to continue working on, but I haven't read anything else about that.
There is hope though, the Mizuu developer has started a new project, similar to Mizuu, called Jolly. Check out the blog post on the Mizuu website for more information. No updates in a while though...

TV shows still working fine for me. I use anything below 2.7.1.3 which it support sdcard.

Old thread but found an alternative that looks just like Mizuu. Search for Mozee or com_stumi_mozee_1.1.4_10_31_2018.apk, and Nova Video Player (Achros fork) seems to work for the most part. Also found this comment elsewhere:
I'm still using Mizuu can't access sd card in it the since marshmallow. Workaround: install older version of the app, add sources and then update to latest version SD no crashes, no issuses on oreo.
