Download fw from sammobile, reboot to recovery, wipe all, reboot to download mode and flash the fw via Odin.

Hi, as the title says. Do I have to root my phone before flashing a pre-rooted rom? In this case ICSSGS RC3.1
I have a Galaxy S on stock Gingerbread 2.3.3
Thanks in advance!
Yes or no will do...
You have not gotten an answer because your question is dumb.
You would have to be rooted to flash a rom in the first place

Baseband is your radio/modem. You can flash in recovery another. Just find that is best for you!

It remains the same(because many devs don't include it in main from) flashing a Odin rom changes it...

As you are using cm9, go to cm9 thread you will have the list of available modems, download it and flash via cwm

How do you have CM9 working without ICS bootloaders? Unless you flashed the resurrection edition?

Mate first you can't post questions on Dev forum, second i'll help you asap before someone start attacking you because of this lol, www.sammobile.com, register, find the Odin Flasher, find the firmware you want, and find a guide on google to how to use Odin!

From stock ftf extract kernel.elf and flash it.
After that flash stock rom via flashtool.
Should work this way mate.

Hi, I have another question. Today, I will update my phone from 2.3.6 to MB2 to MF1 finally to CM10, so:
I need to flash boot.img in Odin in bootloader file selector? Or not? Because I don't want to brick my phone, cheers and thanks for advice
Currently web don't have CM10. In fact we don't even have a stable CM7.2, so I think you don't know what you're doing or you are in the wrong forum.
Cheers.
