2.3.5 ezsbf? - Motorola Droid X2

I'm looking for an ezsbf and root for droid x2 2.3.5. Please help, I'm trying to help my friend with his bricked phone.
Any help would be great, thanks.

no ezSBF
can flash any dx2 sbf, in any order
If having trouble, try sbf_flash on any linux system

Finally rooting for a friend

Friend if mine wants her X2 rooted and she is on 2.3.5. I've looked for rooting methods and can only find broken or outdated ones. Can someone link me to the most recent root tools for the X2? I'm actually an Inc2 user and am not familiar with the process for Motorola phones.

If it has the 1.3.418 OTA update you can use :

Nice. Now just one other q: being an HTC owner I've never had to use red lite or never had to SBF back to any stock ROM....is there a guide around here for that process? To go from 2.3.5 to 2.3.4 I mean. I've done a quick look through of some of these forums today and all I find is people referencing the process

I flashed back to 2.3.5 Now I am rooted but my phone is back up to 2.3.5. Is this normal? Can I still flash a rom?

[Q] Stuck on the M Motorola.. HELP Please

The title says it all. I'm on a Droid X2 flashing eclipse and it ran into an error so I rebooted. Now I'ts constantly stuck on the M Motorola screen. Any suggestions?
You'll probably want to SBF back to 2.4.3 and start over.

Lol, should've proofread. I meant 2.3.4. But if you check the post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1317707
That will give you directions to SBF to 2.3.4. Then follow the directions provided on the eclipse page.

or use ezSBF for dx2
no rsd lite, or moto drivers needed

there is a 2.3.5 sbf
then root with magic md5 root
both in my list
Also make sure not to use ota rootkeeper. If you have it installed on your phone after you're rooted, uninstall it or when you try to flash eclipse from 2.3.5 it will fail. I ran into that problem.

I personally would recommend using RSD Lite to SBF back to 2.3.4. ezSBF uses linux and could be confusing if never done before, plus using RSD Lite you literally just plug your phone into your computer and hit Start. I am new so can't post a link but i guess u can PM me and I can send you the link that way if you would like. Good luck!
links to 2.3.4 sbf and rsd lite are also in my list

droid x2 custom rom

Ive been searching for a clear and concise how to for flashing the X2 rom i have the cm10 port and it fails something to the extent of wrong kernel
the X2 was givin to me so i dont know the history
The specs are as follows
system version 1.3.418.Mb870.verizon.en.us
Android Version 2.3.5
Baseband N_03.13.31P
Kernal version 2.6.32.9-00008
id read somewhere about having to sbf down to froyo before rooting is this the issue?
all roms are flashed on 2.3.4, with exception of eclipse, which is flashed on 2.3.5
flash back to 2.3.4, using sbf and rsd lite,
reroot, install bsr, install cm10

this is how i sbf my phone to 2.3.4, it seems to be the easiest. just make an iso disk, restart your computer with the disk inside, sbf. heres the link http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x2-hacks/41697-tool-ezsbf-dx2.html , although i think it is the same link that shadow gave you. just making sure you saw the ez sbf disc option. good luck.
Your best bet would be to SBF and run a ROM like CM7 or Eclipse 2.3 or Liberty3 (most stable roms)

So..I rooted my phone on 2.3.5. If I SBF back to 2.3.4, can I use RootKeeper to get root back?? Or will that cause problems?
flashing a sbf rewrites all system files, there will be no rootkeeper backup

just dial *228 if you don't get an activation screen.
it's an automated call just press 1, when prompted.

you should just use ezSBF DX2 2.3.4
less likely to cause reactivation problems

What ROM can I use AFTER flashing to Cricket on my Droid X2?

What roms, if any, can I use on my Droid X2 after flashing it over to Cricket? Can I even root the phone now after its flashed over? Thanks.

1.3.418.MB870.Verizon.en.US
you can install eclipse 2.3 as phone is on 2.3.5
if you soft brick, do not use rsd lite, it will wipe radio settings
you should be able to use DX2 2.3.4 ezSBF or flash SBFs with 'sbf_flash'

sd_shadow's [Collection] of Links: FAQs, Guides, Rooting, SBFs, ROMs... - Google Docs
good idea to back up apn settings, using 'apn back up and restore'
and make a nandroid in DX2 bsr (bootstrap/ system recovery)
There is a very good flash to Cricket tutorial over on cricketusersforums that will guide you through the flashing process... I had to reflash my X2 so many times I became a pro lol... Just in case you have to sbf you won't be totally screwed.
