[Q] disable dragging down the statusbar on lockscreen - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

is it possible to lock the statusbar when the screen is locked? it's driving me nuts, as it makes my phone unlock by itself when I keep it in my pocket. the only workaround I've got so far is to enable pattern unlock, but I'd like to have the slide unlock fixed.

I want this function too

Don't think it's possible cause as far as I know you have to edit an apk to get it working...
Maybe there's an app for that!

Give Holo Locker a try. You can disable the status bar or even remove it from the lock screen.

Is it only in ICS? Because in my gb it seems like status bar is locked in slide screen also.

yeah, I think it's ICS feature (if you can call it like this).
regarding MIUI ROM: once I'll move my buttocks and sent my phone to repair I will consider some custom ROM-ing and unlocking BL, thank you. for now I'm only doing stuff that requires root.

[Q] Bigger pattern unlock screen with out clock widget?

hi, i was wondering is it possible to make the pattern unlock screen a bit bigger? like as in a bit bigger in height. for example with the pattern unlock screen clock widget disabled, it will have more room for the unlock screen right? like how it's on the stock rom.

apologies for not mentioning earlier, i'm on MiniCM7 2.1.9 with nAa-11

Mini Pro - disable / remove default lockscreen

I'm looking for a way to remove or disable the default lockscreen from the stock rom. I have to slide from left to right and after that my pattern lock screen, which is kind of annoying.
Only want the pattern lockscreen.
Any ideas?

When using QuickPanel to disable the lockscreen, the pattern screen is also disabled.

I assume the answer is somewhere, but how can I make it so I don't have to completely unlock my phone to see who is calling?
which lock screen are you using? I know if you use the ICS lockscreen calller ID does not work

If you want to stay with the aosp lock screen instead of sense, you can use widget locker with the aosp lock screen then you'll see your caller id.

"Locking" Lockscreen

hey guys, i have the arhd ge rom on my phone, and i love it. but i am having one small issue. i use my mophie a lot, and when it's in my pocket i inadvertently hit the power button and the sceen comes on.
unfortunately, the ge lockscreen is editable and if you can unlock the phone a few random screen brushes because it either edits the clock, lock icon, or goes to another widget page. is there any way to lock the lockscreen and avoid all this?

Unfortunately I don't think that's possible on GE roms. I think there's some options in aosp based roms having to do with turning of lockscreen Widgets but that's all I know of.

[Q] Stock Android Lockscreen on P769?

Is there a way to get the stock Android lockscreen on the P769? I have tried renaming LGLockscreen3.apk but the new lockscreen it gives after renaming it has a white line on the bottom. I was thinking if maybe there was an apk that has the AOSP lockscreen so I can replace LGLockscreen.apk with it. I have tried Holo Locker but sometimes the phone unlocks to the LG Lockscreen.

For after market lock screens, like Go Locker, etc. You must disable the stock lock screen and also must allow and activate the after market lock screen app in System->Security->Phone Administrators

Thanks, but is there a way to get the stock Android lockscreen without aftermarket apps? If you don't understand what I mean by "Stock" I mean the lockscreen with a white lock and 3 shortcuts, Google Up, Camera Left, and Unlock Right. It's the one found in CM.

That's CM's lock screen. Should be available in any CM ROM. Stock is unchanged from the OEM.

Would it be possible to get the lockscreen.apk from a CM10 ROM and use it on a stock P769?
EDIT: I tried opening a CM ROM but there isn't a lockscreen APK. (I'm still learning about Android) However, when I rename the LGLockscreen3 APK, I get a CM-like lockscreen just that it has a grey bar on the bottom.

All you have to do is remove the lockscreen apk.
You made the system not find it by renaming it.
I believe I saw something about it inside the LGSettings.apk. However, I never knew how to enable it. :beer:

For some reason I can't see the images you attached, instead it's a broken file icon do you know what causes that? It only happens to me on XDA.
You could try editing build.prop
There is lglockscreen=true or something similar. Dont remember exactly. Just chang it.
From what I can tell the following are the files you've been looking for...
1) com.lge.lockscreen.apk
2) Lock Screen Settings.apk
As @kuma82 mentioned, there may also be something in SystemUI.apk as well.

Mine is 100% transparent. I've done a lot of editing. I'm not sure what exactly I changed. I'll see if I can fix it.

I believe that lockscreen is found in the frameworks apk. I've checked everywhere else and I found some info in the frameworks.

@kuma82 is right. Original AOSP lock screen code is in /framework.jar and its resources are in framework-res.apk. To fix grey bar you need to look into those files. If you delete or rename Lockscreen3.apk, AOSP lockscreen will show up. But I don't think it's easy to fix that grey bar and you don't have option to customize that lock screen.
