File Manager keeps saying ''processing''. Nothing can access memory till reboot.
Every so often I'll be watching a movie with stock or bsplayer and then the movie will pause and I won't be able to access memory to restart it.
I could be playing a game using psx emulator fpse and the game would pause and then I'd face same issue.
Only way I've found to fix it, is with a reboot which only fixes things for a short time.
I have a 64gb card in, if that helps. Also I'm running the latest Omega Rom.
How do I fix this?

I was normally using android 2.1 and I download the data files via wifi and is able to play gameloft games without any problem.
However recently I install android 2.2 beta3 and when I launch any Gameloft games ( eg. Spiderman), it asked for downloading of data files.
So I tried to backup my spiderman data files to my com, delete it from my phone and reinstall the data files via wifi. But after install for quite a while, it stated that "A problem occured and the download could not be completed successfully."
So what should I do to get it to work? How to continue from my progress?
Please don't give some useless solution such as going back to 2.1 since I want to stay in 2.2
I'm having exactly the same problem, mate. Excepting one or two other users on this forum (one of them is SK_007), everyone else seems to have no clue about it, except that it is a problem with beta 3 (that couldn't retrieve the data files on SD card for some reason).
But strangly some games still work, eg Gangstar. It launch the game without asking to download any data files.
Just installed RealFootball 2011 and it works (just that the starting loading take ~1min which is normal)
Well, i can confirm that oregon trail HD works too. But no luck with spiderman, lets golf 2 and EA's the Sims 3. In these 3 cases, i cant finish dl the data folder.
Sandstorm crash immediately. Asphalt5 same as spiderman, havent tried redownload data files
EDIT : After a few crashes, sandstorm works again. Not sure will it crash in the middle of game.
2.2 is not finished yet, and still in beta(all of them). just play with the working ones and let the devs finish their ROMs
The problem is a lot people have no problem playing the game at at all while there's some having problems. So I thought I may done something wrong or they have done something to make it work.
Most games work except:
Spiderman and Asphalt5 unable to read data files.
be patient untill devs finish the ROM. Be patient a little.
Anyone have a fix for this? I am trying to install Lets Golf 2 but its not working
i had same problem with need for speed. delete downloaded data (should be on your sdcard), and start download process again, that worked for me.
Same with asphalt 5
you need buy a 2.2 version of each game
Hello, I'm a new member here. I've browsed the forums from time to time but never registered until today because I'm in need of some help.
After browsing and searching online and on this forum, I haven't seen anyone with a problem similar to mine.
So, being brief:
Not a single type of video is playable on my phone. Youtube.com, YouTube App, videos from my phone's SD Card, videos I recorded with this phone a few days ago, nothing. Videos I was able to watch on my phone before also suddenly stopped working. I also can't record videos.
On the other hand, my camera works perfectly, so does the music player.
I haven't added any weird adds or anything of the sort. I've attached screenshots of my "About Phone" info, and two other screenshots of what it looks like when I try to play videos on the YouTube App and videos that are directly saved on my phone.
If help is available, I'll appreciate it highly.
Thanks in advance!
Pedro.
P.S. I'm posting here continuing from the Galaxy S I9000 General forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27504129#post27504129).
Since then, I've done the following:
-Rebooted the system and re-installed the latest Kernel version.
-Uninstalled and re-installed YouTube.
-Installed MX Player. This solved the problem I faced while playing videos from my phone, but still can't watch videos from YouTube.
-Went through my Apps and found that I'm missing the Video Player app (click picture)
-Facroty Reset to no avail.
I'm running out of ideas right about now. I've had this phone for about a month and a half, and installed ICS on it on day 3 or so. Ever since, the videos were working properly, lagless and flawlessly, just a few days ago problems started appearing.
Perhaps the Video Player apk would do? I can't seem to find it anywhere for my phone.
Thanks a lot!
Hmmm never heard that befoure..

Well, had to install another custom ROM. It seems the one I had wasn't compatible with the Kernel I was using. Problem has been solved, and now I'm using 4.0.4, so it's all good!
Thanks a lot for the constant help!

Hello, in order not to start a new thread, I'm gonna post here.
I have a chinese tablet(Herotab C8) with I9000 internals(S5PC110).
I have some green artifacts in the upper left corner on youtube videos(using Youtube app) and also in some games intro videos. On some games videos I have green artifacts, on others I have some strange horizontal lines.
Here is an example, filmed by me:
http://youtu.be/pczqsus_v6U
The first, with the green stuff is a youtube app video, the next is the intro of NFS Hot Pursuit.
I've tried an .avi on Mobo Player and it works just fine, no green artifacts(although in software mode, ARMv7 codecs installed...)
If anyone has any ideea, please share!
Thanks!
I have a problem with playing video files (movies about 700mb) (.avi, .mkv) on my galaxy s2. The video files on the device do not appear in the gallery, when I open them using a file explorer the video starts with a black screen and wierd (distorted) sounds. Some files won't open at all. I am running Rexurrection remix v3.1.1 and the problem started when I first flashed v3.8. So I dual booted to check if its the ROM.
I'm running MIUI-2.10.19 as secondary, but the problem still persists on both the ROMs. However, videos shot on camera and received through whatsapp play flawlessly. Putting the files on external sd or internal storage doesnt seem to make a difference. I've tried installing third party apps too but in vain.
I'm a newbie and tried to solve the problem reading solutions from other threads. But none seems to work.
Please suggest a solution.

Have about using 3rd party app like MX Player? You can search that on playstore..a good one.
So right, StraightTalk Samsung Galaxy Proclaim, stock, rooted.
This phone comes with issues. I read a lot about a bug with apps on the external SD and infinite reboots, I don't have that issue.
Rooted using ShabbyPenguin method (Odin flash pre-rooted ROM, reflash stock). Applied SD card computer recognition (edit vold.fstab changing lun0 to lun1).
Installed Link2sd and BusyBox (Stericon?). This solves the reboot loop problem and gives back my internal storage.
Installed script manager and used V6SuperCharger.
Everything runs fine with a few minor exceptions. I have set SuperCharger to clear cache every hour and used the calculator for the oom settings and I have set currently to Die Hard launcher with Soft Rock panic settings.
The only issue I have is if I try to run Dolphin Browser or the stock browser or the Facebook app, my phone will freeze and I have to hold the power button until it resets.
How can I figure out what is causing this problem? I have tried having those apps linked and not linked (installed on internal storage). The problem still happens. I don't think the stock browser is that memory intenselive. I have a game on my phone, Major Mayhem, that I think is more memory intensive than that and it doesn't cause my phone to frewze.
Any ideas?

If it helps, the only logs generated when tthis happens are a "dumpstate_dpramfail.log" and "dumpstate_app_error.txt.gz.temp"

I'm Running CYANOGENMOD 13.1. (6.0.1.)
Basically I had issues of the Moving Media to SD Nature.
Searched google for Apps or information before and found ways for Previous Devices to Fix those Media Moving to SD issues.
Now, I've Searched Google for a SD Fix for my Device (LG Volt), no such luck until I ran across XINTERNALSD Thats been said to Somewhat Fix these SD issues or at least Find a Method at most to be compatible with SD.
I've ticked all the options for it to allow access to SD card. It works (Somewhat). The Folder Path is "Storage/4088-8EFD/".
I've Enabled all Apps including System apps.
The Drawback is... MX Player Doesn't read any Videos At All, Not Just that, My Music Player show Nothing at all (Unless I make a Sound Record File, Only those show up.).
I've copied music files in internal storage in every folder regarding music including the Sound Recorders folder of which the Music player will only read. I've copied music files in the ExternalSD as well (Even through Storage/4088-8EFD/).
Just in case you ask.
Yes, I've Even Set the correct Current Folder in MX Player to " Storage/4088-8EFD/"
Also (Somewhat) Having Issues when downloading anything on the Net.
I get the "Android.Process.Media Has Stopped".
From what I gather when using Titanium Backup, Scrolling to the bottom and seeing " Media" Scratched out.
I do believe it may be the Fact that I preformed a Dirty Flash...? I'm not Sure.
Long story short, I was last Running SlimKat Rom 4.4.4.
LG Volt Devices have Crappy 1GB RAM.
I use to play PokémonGo until they Stopped Rooted users From Playing.
But inorder to play the game without glitches or Hanging, I disabled and/or Titanium Backup Disabled Apps AND System Apps Like The System App Media.Process Not sure if thats exactly The System Apps Package Name.
Thus I don't believe I re-enabled the Media System Package App BEFORE Flashing to CyanogenMod 13.1.
I'm In Dire Need of Help for I haven't Crossed any Forums that were remotely helpful to me..
I'll Try and Attach all my ScreenShots if it Helps.
