Im on 2.3.3 official which is best method to root help me i tried super one click but not worked ....

i have used the LGMDP software. It' easy but make sure you read some howto-s first.
there are several method to root ur stock gb ......simplest one is....
simply download unroot.exe software and it will automatically root ur device..
if u having problem rooting device via superoneclick ...tell d steps which is stopping u to root ur phone.....i will provide u solution..

It wont do. I need to extract recovery.img. dev size erasesize name is appearing. But no desc. abt mtd partitions

INTERESTINGLY IT WON"T VOID YOUR WARRANTY
It is one of the easiest one touch rooting method. So take a cup of tea(Guys who dont like tea..please have a cup of coffee) and relaax
So here are the steps...
Step 1:::::::: Download FRAMAROOT 1.4.1 (which is given in the post)
Step 2:::::::: Install framaroot on your GT-I8552
Step 3:::::::: Before doing anything else make sure that USB DEBUGGINg is ON.. or do it from setting<Developer options<Usb debugging..
Step 4:::::::: Now open Framaroot. Select action to execute after root as Install superuser or Install SU
Step 5:::::::: Atlast the final touch. Select an exploit in list above to potentially root your device as GANDALF.... Now wait... after 2 sec.. it will pop up that "Success ... superuser and su binary installed . You have to reboot the device.
Step 6:::::::: Now Reboot ====>>>>
Thats it... you have successfully rooted you GT-I8552.. while restarting it will show that "Updating you android system"...Dont worry STAY COOL... :good:

Now about unrooting.. It's Very easy...
Step 1:::::: Open Framaroot
Step 2:::::: Select an action to execute after root as "UNROOT"
Step 3:::::: Select an exploit in the list above to potentially root your Device as "GANDALF" Now wait for the pop up """Unroot done!"""...
Thats it ..You have succesfully unrooted you GT-I8552
Some additional Info####
After rooting check Get into download mode by pressing Vol Down + Power On + Home key simultaneously....after that press Volume UP.. You will find

Which firmware do u have? XXAMDB? I have successfully rooted twice on it. (I bricked my device once trying to use framework tool)

I follow the steps...install Framaroot-1.4.1.apk... upto step 5, but the message come out as Failed....
Any other methods or else to root my GT-I8552??

Have u switchd usb debggng on?? Used gandalf method?? I tested this method on XXAMDB and it was successful

Yes. I follow the steps you provided in my new purchsed I8552 but still failed. Any other suggestion？
I root using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2306728 and work for me after flashing.
I think it works only for chinese firmwares..

Hello everybody..
I followed the instructions for rooting through "techjuntion".
I couldnot attach the link with this post. So I have just mentioned the name.
I did as instructed.
But when i install the app "Root Checker" and check whether it is rooted or not, it says "Sorry! Your device doesnot have proper root access".
Also i installed the app "connectbot". I found in some website that if my phone is rooted then command should start with "#". but mine started with "$".
How can I root my phone then?
My phone is Micromax canvas HD A116
Help me!

I remember that I found root guide that was very simple and the best thing about it was that way to unroot the device: Just enter recovery mode and exit it and walla! unrooted device.
Can someone give me link to this guide? or any other guide?

yeah have the same company,as u know they wont upload the software u could root the phone from www.kingoandroidroot.com or kingoandroidroot on google search
Iv now got root with vroot app but can't find a ROM or recovery and there is not a lot on the way about this mob

hi,is ur tecmobile updated from the server if not the mobile will have the updated software on the internal drive :cyclops: u cud use the es file explorer from google play if not i cud sent the recovery but not the rom due to the company wont upload the rom
this solution might help ur problem p.s be sure that u backed up every single file on titanium backup its on google play for free and fro only rooted user
