[Q] ICS recent apps in GB-Style for faster app-change - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

I find the new ICS recent app-style is quite laggy. Is there a way or can anybody make a MOD to get the old and fast gingerbread-style back?
I think that cannot be that difficult.
DEVELOPERS, HELP!

It's still there, some Xperia T statusbar mods had it when you clicked the recent app icon, but the home button behaved like in ICS. I don't know a way how to enable it with the home button.
You're posting in the wrong section though.

[Q] Notification toggles question.

Hello everyone. This is my first post, and I apologize if this is in the wrong place. There isn't (I believe) a forum for my specific device. I have a Samsung Exhibit 4g. It's rooted, but just has stock TouchWiz UI. As far as I know it isn't possible to flash roms and mods to the device safely(?) However I want to know if there is some way to edit the stock TouchWiz toggles on the notifications pull down. Or just remove them all together and use a third party app instead. Basically I just want to replace the bluetooth and the volume toggles as I never use those. Is this possible through editing the xmls? Is there an .apk I can delete?
This is my first Android device and all the information has kind of been overwhelming. Any help would be very appreciated!
You're not going to have much control over anything unless you are rooted, and/or using custom software. CM7 has customisable Notification Toggles for example.
Otherwise there are apps, i.e Widgetsoid or Extended Control that you can get from the Market to give you customisable toggles.

Like I said in the original post, I'm rooted but there isn't anyway to flash roms onto the Exhibit just yet. That's why I want to know is there someway I can edit touchwiz itself through the xmls or something.

[Q] I really like the lock screen from stock gingerbread

Hey folks,
I had a stock rom, 353, on my streak earlier today, and I really like the buttons on the stock PIN lock screen, they are large. When I installed StreakDroid the button are now much smaller, that is they are half as tall.
Is there a way for me to go the original button back? Maybe an APK or something?
Thanks,
Alperin1

It sounds like you changed the DPI setting when you installed GingerStreak. Either reinstall it with the default DPI setting or better yet, change ROMs to one that is still being maintained.

[Q] Regarding VIKINGxROM...

Hi,
Since I can't post anything in Android development section yet coz I recently joined, does anyone maybe know if there is a way to get the stock jelly bean notification pulldown menu for the SGS3? I feel that the one that comes with the ROM is bit laggy when pulling it down... Thanks

[Q] Notification bar problems on JB 4.2 launcher

Hi,
I´m using Hairybean 2.2 RC1 and JB 4.2 launcher. It seems really good but with couple questions concerning the new notification bar.
The upper bar, where notifications and quicksettings are, hides with some apps. Eg. MX-player and games. I cant open them without going to previous apps selection or home.
Is this a more of an apps developers problem or just an feature in the new launcher? Or could it be a problem in ROM?
I haven´t tried any other ROMs cause, I have a replacement digitizer which inverts the X-axis. With Hairybean I can use that invertaxis.zip kernell.
And big thanks to flumpster for that!
I´ve tried to search the forums for any comments on this matter but could not find any.
I do like the new notification bars, so I would prefer to keep them. Don´t wanna go back to the old 4.1 launcher. Although the movement of the back/home/recent apps- buttons to the center wasn´t so good improvement.
Thanks for any comments. My first post. :victory:

[Q] [XPERIA U] [GB]GingerBeanSS 3.5 Recent Applications query

Hey guys,
i am kinda new on xda but i was using Official JB Rom of xda on my Xperia U for quite a long time..it was quite laggy so i found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u/u-development/gb-gingerbeanss-3-5-02-11-t2470223 ROM based on Gingerbread. Its super smooth, much better than JB version but i have only one issue. When we press home screen for sometime we get Recent Application Menu, in JB Version i could view, select & swipe to exit unwanted applications but in GingerBeanSS ROM i can only view & select but swipe function doesn't work
So is it possible to use that function by third party app or something. Coz i kinda multitask a lot
OR
is it entirely not possible on Gingerbread coz i remember this was not available on Stock ROM as well.
Please reply & sorry for bad english !!
