there is a probability that it works through proxy...
edit1: Yes, that's right. It works through proxy - this means that flash runs not on our device...It's like TeamViewer app...

because he did not have time to update the image
omfg, there already was a thread about this browser.
btw, it works simmiliar to skyfire, it doesn't renders flash content on external servers and converts it into html5, but the content is embeded into site, not played fullscreen with video player, like in skyfire.
and that's the reason why it's laggy.
btw. this browser is also avalible for iOS devices, and it's quite popular since it "enables" flash
to devs:
is it possible to modify it as a module to our phone, so that we can have a module similar to this app?
I'm using default browser on froyobread and I can watch YouTube and play flash games. I installed flash player 10.1

Hello. Seems to work, but is is so slow that i cant use it. It is a little advance, but i think X8 users never will have a 'functional' flash player. We have a very best price/quality terminal.
Best regards.

Not sure why you feel the need for a Task Killer. Android takes care of itself. Suggest you ditch that immediately.
I would also strongly suggest you re-update your phone but do a full factory reset FIRST.
Don't allow Google to reinstall your apps automatically.

My Neo also became slow after a month or so.
I think this is caued by a lot of apps, and also a lot of apps that startup and stay with the phone.
Solutions are to delete some apps, and to root your phone (which is very easy).
After rooting, you can delete bloatware (pre-installed apps you don't use and can't remove, like the Facebook app) and move your self-installed apps to another part of the phone memory, which let's them load faster.
Will the bootloader remain open forever?
What is the use of it?
I don't want to install any custom Rom at the moment.
Till which step should I go for opening the Rom?
Explain please it's confusing.

I have a problem when I watch flash videos and surf many websites, ics kills the browser and the launcher. Is there a way to fix that issue.
Using JJs hybrid from v2.2 but had that issue with Ka and I-Scream rooms. I didn't have that problem with stock GB rom.

Maybe you don't use it as much as he.
Try opening few tabs in browser, then minimize it and open chat program, or some other program, root explorer or something simple as that. Then go back to browser, you will be lucky if all your tabs are still there
As sdk16420 said, ICS is more hungry than GB, and that is a fact. If someone use phone his phone lite, chances that he will notice that are smaller.

HTC Desire C
Check the specs of HTC Desire C this phone comes with ICS
As you'll see below, the catalog also sheds some light on the specs of the device. Here's what we have confirmed for now: The HTC Desire C has a 3.5-inch screen with 320x480 resolution and runs on a 600MHz processor. Connectivity-wise it's 3.5G, whatever that means, but we're guessing it's HSDPA. The handset also has 4GB of internal memory and a 5MP camera. But most importantly, this low-spec'd device will run Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

If this phone can handle ics then Neo shouldn't have any problems handling ICS whatsoever.
Source
@Tenacius D:it's not questionable can it run, but how good can it run
Neo V can run it, but it runs it so sad and slow, at least in case Sony stock ICS
Actually CPU is not so important in story, RAM's are.
Weaker CPU will get the job done, but (a bit) slower, lesser RAM will get your apps killed in the background.
I would prefer 500Mhz with 1GB ram's, than 1.5Ghz quad core and 512MB ram's but that's just me
Madfysh I agreed with you more ram better multitasking but CM9 and aokp are prof that ics can run better on our phone apps are lighter on memory and hardware is better utilized sony can also do this but they don't wanna waste resource on last year phones.

And, as far as RAM is concerned, I have a Galaxy S and it has only 512 MB RAM and it runs ICS very nicely (stock AOSP).

Hello guys, this is my first post here in XDA
i'd like to have some tweaks to increase my Xperia Neo V gaming perfomance, i'm using original gingerbreak, and i'd like to know the best ROMS and kernels, my xperia neo v is freezing while playing ''easy'' games like temple run and fruit ninja, heavy games like GTA 3, Kinectanimals crashes and reboot my cellphone, or just close.

To me Stock ROM is the best and try "Night-elf Kernel"
one thing don't use any task killer/RAM optimizer cuz its slow down your system.
Try codename 8 by emanxperia.

Stock 2.3.4 + Kernel Night Elf 9.6 full + delete some unnecessary apps from /system/app/ and you have got the fastest rom that you can have.
Dont use supercharger, nitro busters, adrenaline busters, task killers etc. It's all one big crap... that slow down phone

It is an ICS incompatibility. You'll have to wait for your games to be updated. Or do as I did. Reinstall them. I lost all my data. But it has lesser bugs. But that didn't fix all the bugs though. So if you want to do serious gaming, go back to GB.

For better Experience I just Downgrade ICS to GB. My neo is Running Stock .62 and Night-elf Kernel 9.6 lite. I tested more than 50+ games in ICS but only Few of them worked and they still had some bug or gilth.
So, my Suggestion is to stay GB and flash a good kernel for better gaming performance ^_^
Never upgrade to ICS if you really wanna play game in Neo
BTW, here is my thread which I made to let others know which games are working in ICS 4.0.4
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1692718
Guys, you really have to take a look on that : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987032
If you are a noob (it's not a shame, relax, everyone was once, don't be offended), just download the apk which is attached in the 1st post on the above link, install it, run it, click ON, check start automatically on boot and press HOME button to leave it in backround (<-- that's important). Now let it settle for a minute.
If you are an andvanced user, just flash the attached zip below to enable it. Now let it settle for a minute!!!
To disable it, just delete /system/etc/init.d/23seeder
If you are a developer, you really have to see the link above.
This may be resource hungry, this means that it may drain the battery a little bit, but version 2, saves battery when screen off. Some have reported that there is no notable battery drain. I have tested it too and so far I don't see any battery drain. But, camera loads in less than 1 second, gallery loads a lot of faster, phone app, messaging app, settings load faster and generally the lag is literally gone!
I highly recommend you flash the zip instead of using the app.
Best used on GingerBread.
Don't forget to click thanks to lambgx02 to his original thread!
PS. If you notice some lag, probably you didn't let it settle down, but relax, it will happen only once and remember this is an early alpha version.
If you are having problems and want to manually install it :
1) Download the zip from below
2) Open it and copy each file to it's corresponding folder in your phone
3) Set permissions to both rwx r-x r-x also known as 755
rwx r-x r-x is this :
User | x | x | x |
Group| x |__| x |
Other | x |__| x |

You have to flash [CWM]entropy_seeder(NO-LAGS).zip which is attached in my OP. The original thread has 3 files which should not bother you, apart from the apk in case you want to use it instead of flashing. The zip does the same as the apk, but the apk is buggy and if it's not running in background it won't work. The zip just copies the rngd binary and a script (named 23seeder) which executes that binary on each boot. No info in OP provided an installtion method on the original thread, so I decided to create this flashable zip for your convenience.
It doesn't need any modification to be device specific, it is universal and works on GB, ICS and JB. It works on all phones.
To be honest rarely it causes some very small lag, but it really boosts up performance for me. :good:

Don't thank me, thank the creator of this on his original thread!

Yeah, some people have reported that they get better scores, while some others get worse. I don't know, it depends. I am not an expert to answer this, you should head over to original thread to investigate things if you want to learn more... And, why does the score matter? I believe that the performance you see and notice matters, unless you notice unwanted things like battery drain and occasional lags.

If you have installed the app, make sure it runs in background, otherwise it shuts down. That's why I recomment the flashable zip.
To make the app run in the background, open the app, click ON and press HOME button to minimize it in background. Personally, I find this very annoying. I find more handy to remove the script from init.d when I don't want it.
