[Q] Xperia sola ram problems - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

my phone becomes so slow because of low ram availability , when i free ram many applications are shown in go launcher task manager that i didnt open, when i run games they run so slow but when i open youtube they appear to be fast on the same phone

I've been having this trouble too. It was Sony that suggested to me that my problems could be RAM related. God help us on Jelly Bean. I've deleted many apps and still don't know what to do.

RAM Usage on AOKP

Question, On stock or on a custom rom based on stock I am able to have a ton of apps open and switch between them without them reloading. For example I can open Angry Birds, Temple Run, and Flick golf plus taptalk and browser etc.. .and I have no issue switching between them. The OS is not closing the apps, it is letting the apps stay open in memory since we have so much ram on this phone.
However with aokp it is closing the apps even when the free memory on the phone is over a gig. I tried using the ram tweaks in system tuner pro and it still did not make a difference... Does anyone know what I should tweak in order to have the RAM management work the same or almost like the stock rom?

so slow xperia neo....

hello!my problem is that i tried soooo many roms and i always get the same result....the phone becomes too slow...what i mean is that if i try to open for example dial or phonebook it can take up to 3-4 seconds to launch, while i see some other xperia devices cheaper and slower to lanch theese in under a second??is there anything i can do??what is the problem?
I will not say it is a ROM problem, but (maybe) a configuration problem. Have you checked the apps you have running in background?
If you have lots of running apps, it takes a time to upload new apps.
well, I would say Neo is not a high performance device. only 384MB RAM available in total (after loading of my few background apps I have 40-60MB free)? I think it slows the device and of course the tiny internal memory, so everything has to be read from SD, which is "slower" in fact comparing to internal flash memory.
So, that question is appropriate I would say.
Try moAOKP ROM with Fusion Kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39936498
Or you install FusioN you can get 389 MB of RAM. Then you can get around 100 of free RAM. It will depend on how many apps you have running. You can also OC to 1.6 ( at your own risk).

[Q] Can I stop applications 'booting at startup' into memory?

Hi all,
I have a Galaxy S3 (i9300?) and it's low on RAM as to be expected.
Some applications like Facebook and especially the Sony Playstation app are loading into memory, in the background. Right now ram is precious with this model, it's getting old.
I am cool with these apps running / using ram when I open them. I'm even cool if I close them - they still run - but when I reboot the damn phone and they run automatically? It's just making it so damn sluggish.
Anyone know a way to block this occurring?
Thanks
Anyone please? it's driving me bonkers.

How to prevent form killing apps

Hi,
Is there any way to prevent specific apps from being killed? This phone have 3 gb of ram and I am using about 10 apps (not games) and they stay in ram but allmost allways contact app, dailer app are killed and they are reloading when i lunch them, this is sick for phone with 3gb of ram... I would like to have them allways in memory and dont wait for reload. Is there any way to do this?
Tapatapatap Z2
That is because of the way the android system manages the ram, therefore it is normal.
However, I do think that there are some apps that allow you to lock apps into the ram. I am not sure whether they will be helpful though
i've been tryin to solve the same problem, i hate the way android kill the apps, it's to aggressive even in 3 gb of ram device like Z2 or Oneplus One. but i don't think there's a way to fix this bro, the only thing u can try is, use stock android OS (like what nexus series used) even it won't solve the problem, at least the multitasking will much better

How to prevent android from killing apps/process

Hi,
I own xperia Z2 and I have a question: Is there any way to prevent specific apps from being killed by android? This phone have 3 gb of ram and I am using about 10 apps (not games) and they stay in ram but allmost allways contact app, dailer app are killed and they are reloading when i lunch them, this is sick for phone with 3gb of ram... Before z2 i had note 2 with 2gb of ram and even on CM he was killing dailer and contact app so I was thinking I have to upgrade phone to model with 3gb of ram to prevent this, but after all the "problem" on z2 is the same. Dont u think this is ridiculous that android phone with 3 gb of ram cant hold the most usefull app like phonebook and dailer? I would like to have dailer, phonebook and sms apk allways in memory and dont wait for reload. Is there any way to do this? Im on stock rooted rom with custom recovery with locked bootloader.
