I wonder, would it be possible to get it at 100% size? At the moment the screen seems to be about 1280x800px, but it would be great to be able to take a screenshot from the real Nexus 10 and be able to drop it in at 100% (i.e. 2560x1600px).

How dows this work? Do I just load in Photoshop and add backgrounds/icons to see how a final theme would look?
This works in such a way that you can insert your screenshots within the phone or you can display your own app's screenshots. It looks pretty decent.

Unless it looks somehow special in the menus and stuff, I don't see the difficulty in replicating that homescreen in any of the available custom launchers...

It's not a done deal yet. Though our community's devs have made tremendous progress, the CM10 ROM isn't even in alpha stage yet. And, it seems as though the kernel 3.x still has a ways to go before completion. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to get it in beta stage before Christmas.
