[Q] Unable to HTC dev unlock - HTC Rezound

Just as title states...got a replacement from asurion, have done this about half a dozen times now with no problem, but now it stalls on "fastboot oem get_identifier_token" and just says waiting for device.
Have rebooted sevral times, checked to make sure proper files in android folder, etc.
Installed global RUU before trying to unlock...Phone is showing s-on RL
Any ideas?

What OS are you on? If you're on XP/Vista/7, download HTC Sync and install it.
If you're on Windows 8:
1. Open the charm bar (Windows+C), click Settings, click Change PC Settings, click General, and under Advanced Startup click "Restart Now"
2. Click troubleshoot, advanced, startup settings, restart
3. Your computer will shut off and when it turns back on you'll get a blue screen with a bunch of options. Choose "7) Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"
4. Follow these instructions: http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.php/public/windows_hboot_driver_install but skip steps 2.1 and 3
Extra steps on Windows 8 are required because HTC's drivers don't work with Windows 8 and the modified drivers that do work aren't signed so Windows will refuse to install them

I'm on Win 7 64bit...have tried with and without Sync using only HTC drivers. Jury seems to be out on whether sync should be used or not based on what I read. Dev site says download it, users say you only need the drivers from the package and NOT to have sync active, hence I have tried both ways.

True you only need drivers, but having Sync up doesn't hurt anything. Boot up your device, go to the Developer settings and enable ADB. On your computer, cd to your adb folder and execute "adb devices" and see if it lists a device.

How long should the server take to email the bin file?
Win7 Sp1 amd64, ICS 4.0.3 bootloader.
I got the token and put it in htcdev.com
the server said it was emailing me the
unlock code, I remember the last time
not having to wait long. HTC's tech
support they are unable to tell me how long
the server is expected to take to respond.
thanks

When I unlocked mine, it took only a minute or less. have you checked your spam folder? If you still haven't gotten it, use a different email provider.

seems it took a while but i did get it.

I wish I could exain why, but using adb out of the root sdk platform...folder allowed it to work as it always has. CDing to self made c:/android folder with adb, and fastboot etc placed in it does not work anymore. Strange since the only thing that changed since last time I did it is the phone.

Did you get a new unlock token? Those things are device specific. New phone = new token. Not positive that's the problem. But if adb works the that's my best guess

I have sent 20 hours trying to root but I cant...There has to be something easier...

This is the hardest damn thing I have ever done.... trying to root the DNA. It is insane how hard it is, can someone PLEASE do a step by step on how to install Sense 5? Every walkthrough is just not helpful at all and doesn't make any sense.
Theres like 10000 steps and each step has 100 problems and I google the problems and get stuck at every step... I have rooted the S3 so easily w/ in 1 hour but this is just insane....
I know I need to 1) Unlock Bootloader 2) Root 3) S-off
I have tried every one of the above steps and am stuck at one point or another in every point.... Unlocking the bootloader I am stuck because my computer cant recognize my device in bootloader mode. When I type "fastboot oem readcid" it just gets stuck at "waiting for device" I have tried everything and it still doesnt recognize the device....Theres so many people with this problem but no solution.
Is there anyone around San Francisco that will upgrade me to Sense 5 for $20?
ok so first off does you phone have the OTA sofware.. settings>about>software... if your software has 2.04 in it then you won't be able to root at this time..
if your not on the OTA then you should be able to unlock>root>s-off
your obviously having driver issues.. what version of windows are you using?
here are the drivers that I use, i would uninstall all HTC Sync stuff and reboot (basically try and clean out any drivers that could be conflicting)
then try the drivers in this zip file.. I put the phone in bootloader mode first then attach to computer and when i asks about drivers point it to where you unziped the drivers below..
http://db.tt/kr11CT4d
check out the thread I wrote up on how to do this. You can follow all those steps and just use the Sense 5 ROM instead of the ViperDNA ROM I cite. You might have to flash the cubed kernel separately first if it's not packaged with the ROM, but that's not hard to do.
The "waiting for device" means you don't have adb setup correctly. 9 times out of 10 it's because you don't have the drivers. If you have the OTA update you can't unlock the bootloader yet.
Hi Guys,
I do not have the OTA Update, I am running Straight talk and got my phone like 4 months ago, never updated.
I am running Windows 8 on a Samsung Series 9.
I tried the drivers you linked above but I get the same error....see attached photo
I will try your walk though now. I like it a lot... I was about to give up.... nothing is worth this much trouble...Its like problem after problem after problem. lol
Thanks for the help..

I'm running windows 8 and just had to use a different USB port, 2.0 I think. Do you know how to boot in fastboot? Then did you download adb? There are a few simple commands to get id token, then copy, goto htcdev (google) paste your idtoken after you register. That's step one, unlock the bootloader, in the 1.15 FW
if you need help email me [email protected] Ill check in 5 minutes

Sweet, I'm happy and jealous. Hope everything else goes smooth. For your recovery I like CWMR-6.0.2.8. But to each his own. I'll check here in a little bit, I'm hoping someone figures out a way to unlock the bootloader or downgrade soon so I can be rooted once again.

did you put the recovery in the right folder? if the img you're going to use ins't named recovery.img you need to change the name or vise versa in cmd. Get what I'm saying?
Following the TUT is great, but sometimes when we download what we need it might be named different. Like mine is DNA.CWR6.img, so first I put that file in my adb folder, second in the cmd window I type "fastboot flash DNA.CWR6.img" OR do it how you are doing it but rename DNA.CWR6.img to recovery.img

Hi Guys,
Thanks so much for your help in getting me up and running esp you SHANENATAS. I love Sense 5, everything seems to work except MMS. I hope a port comes out for you guys soon!
I honestly think Sense 5 is by far the best rom I have used, it was actually the only one other than cyonogenmod 10 stock android that I considered going to.
The backgrounds are not included, but you can download those easily!
AWSOME upgrade! Funny thing is my windows 7 computer doesn't recognize the DNA now lol... oh well I already did what I had to so I dont need to use fastboot anymore. So in total it took about 30 hours to get this for a total non programmer! Tip to anyone attempting this is to do it on Windows 7, a lot less issues.
Lol havent eaten since 10am it is now 8pm because I have been working non stop on this; going to get dinner now. My girlfriend was wicked pissed off because I was supposed to buy ingredients to make chili with her but I never left the house.
Also guys please note if you are attempting this please install this version of Sense 5 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2184706
The previous versions would just crash when connected to wifi....
Thanks Everyone! Awsome walkthrough too, drumz0rz!!
Funny, my Windows 8 Sony Vaio has no problems in Fastboot, ADB etc. All the drivers loaded right up. Glad to hear you got everything going. Me, I'm waiting patiently for an unlock exploit for the OTA 2.04 fw. My replacement phone has the update.

[Q] HTC One; Need Assistance Restoring/Recoverin Phone (Will pay via Paypal for help)

Hello XDA-Developers,
I've been a reader here for awhile now learning things about the android development for my devices and used many of your all members TUTs, but now i have came across a big issue that has broke my phone and need assistance getting it back online to be used with my carrier again. Below I'll explain my situation of what happen and what I need to be done so I can use the phone again or least get it back to factory stock so I can get a new phone... I will also offer someone $5-10 via PayPal for the assistance if you can help me get my phone back to the condition needed.
To start it off, I purchased a phone off a guy on craigslist, a AT&T HTC One M7 (Model: PN07120), when I purchased the device it was unlocked so I could use it on my carrier that was the reason I purchased it because I'm with T-Mobile. When I purchased the phone i went to setup the device to my needs and requirements and after two days of having the device, I noticed that the phone still had the previous owners information stored and was setup based on him, so because I didnt know the phone was rooted or anything, I googled how to factory reset my phone, so that way I could set it up to my wants, and requirements and below I'll explain the steps i'm at and what it is doing...
1. Searched google for the how-to method to factory reset my phone...
2. Went to 'Settings App', Backup & Restore, Reset Phone, Erase everything, Selected OK.
3. Followed the steps, phone rebooted..
4. Loaded up to the HTC (green logo) screen and stayed there...
5. Waited a few moments, phone never powered 100% back online just stayed at the HTC welcome logo when you first power phone back on.
6. So then I did the Boot Menu steps, (Hold Powerkey + Volume Down) to get into the boot menu,
7. When I got there it loaded to the boot manager window and I clicked FASTBOOT
8. Loaded new menu/logo "twrp" logo, then went to a menu "team win recovery project v2.6.3.3" with the list of options: INSTALL/WIPE/Backup/Restore/Mount/Settings/Advanced/Reboot.
9. I went to reboot to try to least get the phone booted, then when I was in the option to reboot, it gave me the warning of "No OS Installed", Continue without OS?"
10A. If I selected yes, it told me Install SuperSU, for root, otherwise phone wont be rooted.
10A1. I tried doing INSTALL SUPERSU did nothing..
10B. Did without installing SUPERSU and did nothing too, just when I boot comes back to this same menu Team Win Recovery Project.
So it seems I bricked my device as what everyone calls it to what I believe, I am unsure though or unsure how to fix this. I need to get the device either back to factory resetted to like the device comes out the box, so that I can use it, or what to do to get it back rooted successfully and working to be able to use the phone like i could at first.
I tried contacting the buyer but hes ignoring me now that I told him he told me the device wasnt rooted but the device was rooted and i seemed to have a major problem happen trying to restore the phone to factory defaults to set it up to my requirements...
My concerns and want is..
- My Carrier is T-Mobile USA LTE - So, I would have to get the device to stay UNLOCKED so I can still use the device on my carrier: T-Mobile, as it is a AT&T HTC One M7 Unlocked (Was working fine on my T-Mobile Sim prior to me trying to factory reset, besides the phone was named to the original owner and had all his settings and customizations that i didnt like or want.
- I NEED to get the phone back in a working condition. So please I'm really asking for your help I tried searching a couple articles here but couldnt find anything related to my situation.. This is why I am offering a payment for someone to be able to successfully restore my device back to working condition. Please help me!
- NOTE: When plugged up to the computer via USB Cord it did not connect or anything also. I also did not perform a backup because I didnt need any information that was currently on the device because it was the content and settings of the original owner i bought it from so I wanted to clear it all and set it up to my own.
- Overall, my phone is messed up because I tried factory resetting the device not knowing it was rooted, during the process found out it was rooted and now seem to have a bricked phone and need to know how i can fix it, and get android OS back installed, as it tells me there is NO OS installed when I reboot or try booting the device, and it remains at the HTC Bootlogo when powering it on without holding the power + volume down key to access a boot menu to perform a reset, install, etc, Like I mentioned I just want to restore my phone back to working condition even if that means to have to root the device again, etc. All I'm asking for is someone to either help me with each step or to write a step by step what I would need to do to recover and restore my phone.
Phone: HTC one m7 (AT&T)
Computer; Windows
Thank you,
PM or respond here.
Don't worry you device is not bricked...
Google Android Revolution HD 41.0 for HTC one. Download that ROM.
Second you will have to install android SDK to be able to access adb.exe and fastboot.exe...
Now once you installed the SDK move the ROM ARHD to where adb.exe is located.
run command prompt "CMD" from your computer until you are in the folder where you have you adb.exe
Now on your phone get into recovery TWRP and select advance, in advance the is an option called adb sideload click on it and at the bottom slide the button to initiate that mode.
Back to the computer in which you should be in CMD type command "adb devices" and make sure your device shows up. After successfully seen your device there type "adb sideload file-rom.zip and press enter, make sure the file-rom.zip is the exact name of the ROM you are trying to push into the phone.

Where can I find this stuff I need to download? I tried doing a search and got a different version, Android Revolution HD 51.0, but could you please link me to the stuff I need to download on my computer, etc?
Okay I've done the steps you've instructed to me and I'm stuck at after launching the sideload feature on my phone; then going back to the computer and running 'adb devices' and under "List of Attached Devices" there isn't anything listed yet, and the phone says "Starting ADB sideload feature..." is the last line, I'm stuck with what to do...
I downloaded android SDK
downloaded the ROM
moved the ROM to the sdk folder where adb.exe and fastboot.exe are
launched adb sideload feature under advanced on mobile device
went back to the computer and ran, 'adb devices', and list of attached devices is none...
so I'm back at being stuck.

I watched the video and got all of that working and checked based on the video and made sure all was installed, now i'm just still stuck at where you instructed me to do 'adb devices' after launching adb sideload under advanced on mobile, i did that, and i get
List of devices attached...
<nothing>
Then goes back to where I can type another command...
The phone itself screen is on the adb sideload feature, and in the textbox thing, shows the following
Updating partition details...
Starting ADB sideload feature...
then has a Cancel button underneath and then a loading bar underneath that... am I doing something wrong? or missing something?

HTC Manager = no
drivers = i dont know.
Note: I never had the phone plugged up to my computer before when it was working. I had just purchased the phone off of craigslist and the guy didnt inform me it was rooted or anything just that it was unlocked and worked on tmobile and when i got it it had all his info on it so i factory resetted it and it messed everything up as you can see.
So, I dont believe i have anything drivers installed and i know when i plug it up, there are 4 things windows says installing/etc, and only the first one says completed the other 3 fail.
I am using Windows 7.

Go to this website and download the HTC sync manager
http://www.htc.com/www/software/htc-sync-manager/
Once installed go to control panel > programs and uninstall a program... Look for the HTC sync manager and uninstall it, but leave the htc drivers alone.
Connect the HTC one to the computer and wait for the drivers to install automatically... After they are successfully installed try to run the CMD adb command adb devices

Based on what I've been reading that code error might be cause by a corrupted driver installed.

was a tough little driver... well the solution as we saw was that instead of trying to make recovery detect the drivers.... what needed to be done first was let fastboot detect drivers "android 1.0" and once that was done... the previous error was gone.
TopoX;
You know this guy right here is clutch in my book.... He actually walked me through step by step, customizing how i needed it, fixing everything, and getting it back up and even though we had to do alot of modifications on my computer-end, him with TeamViewer literally fixed my phone, upgraded my laptop, and got my phone running better then normal and actually showed me how to do everything and taught me things I didn't know how to do with these Android Phones.
I am now very happy and thankful of XDA-Developers for allowing me to get this assistance and for having a great community with members like TopoX who literally saved my ass and restored my phone back to working condition and fixed my laptop all together, even though I was a brand new member with hardly any posts and not really much background, anyone else wouldn't of wasted their time... but he helped and even was up until 3AM ish doing it with me to make sure I got it back to exactly how I wanted...
We had to get the HTC MTP Driver installed correctly which kept failing/getting code error 10 (Unable to start) which if you google the issue it seems ALOT of people get this issue, and we resolved it by fastbooting and letting it install Android 1.0 itself, then manually updating my pc with windows updates and getting rid of the junk to stop corrupting and failing the drivers needed, then getting everything needed to flash my phone and re-root the device getting everything back in a working condition, unlocked, got that done and now phone is working better then before...
I'm currently running Team Win Recovery Project, ARHDOne-61.0 Google Play Edition, Rooted, SuperUser and Unlocked.
I personally wanna thank TopoX for everything he did and dedicating his time to helping resolve the issue for me.
TopoX84 said:
was a tough little driver... well the solution as we saw was that instead of trying to make recovery detect the drivers.... what needed to be done first was let fastboot detect drivers "android 1.0" and once that was done... the previous error was gone.

Cool story bro. Seriously..... Cool story.
I love XDA.
If anyone is trying too get in contact with "djay1127", please contact me on this user, my original first account djay1127 I can no longer access the account as I set it up with my Google account, gplus login, and I can no longer access that email, it's closed out. So I created a new account with my main email account and username.
I plan to contact a admin after doing some searching to discuss getting my old account removed, and the posts and crap merged into this account instead...
Regards.

[Q] Help rooting just for Wi-Fi tethering?

Hi folks,
I have a stock phone and I'd like to root it mainly for getting wifi tethering to work. Don't really care about any different roms. Any quick links to what I have to do to have the phone act as a hot spot for my iPad?
Please forgive me if this question wasn't appropriate here.

Verizon or Sprint?

If your One Max is on Sprint then you can easily unlock bootloader through HTCDev. Then you can Install TWRP 2.6 and use it to flash superSU 1.91 (Google). You will then be rooted and ready to rock and roll. You can follow this Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpj6dEMn9dw for procedure if you're unfamiliar. The vid tutorial is for the HTC One but is the same procedure for One Max. You will need to download adb and fastboot (and appropriate drivers if you are using a windows machine). No drivers are needed if you are using a mac or linux box. You can get the necessary files from here: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html. Download the appropriate ADT bundle for your platform.
Windows drivers SHOULD be installed by default the 1st time you plug in your phone. They are however installed along with HTC Sync which can cause you connection problems. I would recommend NOT installing HTC Sync as you would most likely have to uninstall it later in order to get these procedures to work. Instead try this link for HTC Drivers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2089508. Make sure drivers are properly installed BEFORE you plug in your phone. Windows can be a PITA so be sure you can disable antivirus, firewall, and any other running processes that may impede your ability to achieve and maintain a solid connection to your device.
You will also need to enable USB Debugging on your One Max. To enable USB Debugging you need to go to Settings > About > Software Information > More > Build number - tap Build number 7 times to enable developer mode. After you get the window saying "developer mode has been enabled" go back to the main menu in Settings and you'll see you now have "Developer Options" added. In there you will have the ability to enable USB Debugging
Create a folder for ALL your development files that you can easily CD your command prompt to. (Ex. "C:/onemax" for windows or "desktop/onemax" mac/linux) Follow video.
If you are using a Verizon One Max, you will be unable to unlock your bootloader through HTCDev. In this case you will need to S-Off your device you can follow this guide if your Hboot is 2.46 or lower: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2473644. If your Hboot is 2.47, rumrunner will not work for you. You will need to consult the firewater guide instead: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2632385. Once you are S-OFF, you can pretty much do anything you want on your One Max. FYI Hboot is HTC's bootloader. You can find out your version by 1. going into Settings > Power - then untick Fast Boot option. 2. shutting down your phone, then 3. hold the volume - key down firmly, then hold down power button until your device boots into the bootloader. Hboot version will be shown at the top of your screen.
Spend a little time familiarizing yourself with whichever procedure you require. Quadruple check you are using the CORRECT FILES for your One Max. You will need a properly working development environment regardless of which procedure you will follow, so set it up first!
Here's hoping you have a Sprint One Max and a Mac LOL Seeings how you only need a simple root!
Good luck!

Well, when I said tomorrow, I meant a month instead.
I checked out the guide Neodiver suggested, and while it was nice, it still had me a bit confused on some of the things. After lots and lots of reading, I started down this path:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2550559
And it worked well, up until between step "F" and step "G" copied here:
f. Boot back into the bootloader, and make sure you're in fastboot. Issue the command fastboot flash boot boot.img. If all is well, the unsecure kernel is now on your phone! Now delete the boot.img from that directory (It'll mess with rumrunner).
g. Unzip the rumrunner contents into the adb/fastboot directory and run the soju.exe. Follow the prompt. If all goes well, you should now have an SOFF television in your hand
It DID flash the boot.img fine, but when I tried to run soju.exe and read the disclaimer it said to make sure the adb saw my device, and sure enough, it does not anymore. ADB WILL see my device when I simply boot up normally, but when I boot to the fastboot usb screen, it no longer sees it.
I'm going to bed and toss and turn with dreams of my phone chasing me down hallways, I'll check for any advice when I wake up.
Again, to be clear, my phone boots fine, all features seem to work and I did all steps up until running rumrunner, at which point in fastboot usb mode, adb won't see my device.
Night, and thanks in advance!

I believe you start soju while the phone is booted fully up. With adb enabled. Not at fastboot mode.

Oh and btw, any particular wifi hotspot app you folks recommend?

Newbie

Please forgive my ignorance I am very new to this. I just want to flash the new firmware to the nexus 9 manually. I have downloaded minimal adb and fastboot but it doesn't find my device. I have enabled developer mode and allow usb oem ect but nothing when I type the commands it says waiting for device and nothing happens, obviously I am missing something obvious, but if you could please help me out I would be grateful.
Did you let your device RSA footprint be recognised?
Did you run adb commands at the right directory?

Means when you connected the device to the PC with USB debugging, there should have been a pop up asking you if you'll let the device blah blah.
You need to press OK.

oh you silly English person.
the toolkit will get you back to stock. wug is working on a revision that will properly format the data partition to decrypt the tablet. the tool is best for force flashing and renewing your device as if you just unboxed the device with no root. the option to install a recovery and root the device is used after you are happy with the first boot and freshness of your devices. other tools included are just simplified press of the button commands that save you the time of opening a cmd shell.
key things to remember about the n9, absolutely make sure you enable the OEM unlock in developer options. and to my understanding NEVER uncheck it. there is a thread here about that "feature"

there is nothing wrong with ADB, or fastboot, if you use it exclusively, good for you.
as the OP title sais, it is not expected for a new user, and even some experienced users, to have such a firm grasp of the ways of the mighty command line, and the fact that the toolkit gathers all of the files in one convenient place, is not without its bonus. i dont know, nor do i really care who started the whole elitist "toolboxes are for lamers", or whatever. toolboxes are nothing more than their name suggests , tool-boxes, to help when we need it. they are nothing more than an interface to commands, much like you running a GUI on top of your OS, or are also running command line only for your primary computer. xda, is designed and expected to be help for all who want to know, not a pond of elitists that would rather brag they have overclocked their device, water cooled it, but can still make a grilled cheese sandwich on their CPU. i have email accounts older than many of the forum members here, so not too much impresses me in that 1337 area. im here to help if i can, and learn if i need to., so since im here alot, im always learning.

Stuck in an endless bootloop

A few days ago my watch restarted on it's own and never got past the startup..which isn't that unusual, it'd happened a few times. No big deal just reset it with the button on the back. I tried that and again an endless loop. I tried searching for any help in this situation and the only lead I found was to reset and power it down through the boot menu and let it sit for a few minutes...but didn't matter. I've wiped and reset from the boot menu, hoping it might do something to get it past the startup, but no luck yet. I didn't open up the developer options and unlock anything...so I don't believe I could try anything from the computer right? Is there any other recourse to take or am I completely hosed?

You don't need developer options to do "fun" things from the boot menu. Just an unlocked bootloader.
I have a TWRP backup somewhere, so if you have a borked system, you can always flash (or better yet, boot) TWRP (make a backup of your broken), push the backup file folder to your watch (without overwriting the broken backup), and then restore mine.
Last thing to do is a factory reset to clean up any left over garbage. Hope this helps.
But isn't Developer Options necessary to allow that? It lets you turn on ADB Debugging which would then let you get on the computer and unlock the bootloader?
Or is there an alternate way to go about things...can I unlock the bootloader from the boot menu? I've only rooted a couple phones, with a lot of careful reading and reviewing of these forums...I'm not very knowledgeable.

Fastboot is independent of ADB, so you can unlock the bootloader from the boot menu. That is the way to unlock bootloader 90+% of the time.
Just need to issue these commands (like you would ADB) :
fastboot devices
fastboot oem unlock
...and then complete the on-screen (watch) confirmation. Hope this helps.

All right, my new problem is that the computer doesn't recognize the watch. When I plug it in it only appears as an unknown device and there's an error about the device having malfunctioned. Trying to install drivers despite the error leads nowhere, Windows says that the drivers present on the computer are up-to-date. So with it being an unknown device, I can't communicate with the watch from the command prompt.
Remove the drivers from Device Manager (check delete driver), connect your device again to the computer then reinstall the drivers.

No luck, I'd tried that a couple times before...just no progress, still sees it as an unknown device and trying to force install the drivers does nothing. It says the existing drivers are up to date.
I'm getting more and more discouraged. I can't seem to make any progress. I'm looking into sending it away for repair even though, of course, it's about two months out of the warranty.
You are not removing the drivers correctly, make sure that you have this option checked and try again:

Anything more I should be doing? Everything mentioning Android or ADB is removed. I'd never plugged the watch in before and installed drivers, so there's nothing from the watch to delete. But still the same thing, Windows only sees it as a Unknwon Device under USB controllers and sees no need to update drivers when I try, since it doesn't seem to see it as a watch or Android device of any sort.
Are you sure that you have installed the correct drivers? What is the hardware id?

I think so? I'm far from an expert but I've messed with a handful of phones and tablets in the last five years and never had issues with drivers I didn't sort out fairly easily. I downloaded the official Google USB driver, I tried the LG Watch Tool which installs the Universal ADB driver. The LG Watch then finds no devices.
I'm a bit ignorant, what hardware ID do you refer to? Of the driver?
Of the device.
Here is a guide:
http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-find-unknown-device-drivers-by-their-vendor-device-id/
Can you post some screenshots from device manager?

Device Manager wasn't much help for finding the IDs, but I tried using USBDeview and it's reporting something as Android Bootloader Interface, which I'll have to assume is the watch. The vendor ID is 18D1 and the product ID is 4EE0. And here is a screen cap of the entry in the Device Manager that I've been seeing. If there's anything more specific in the device's properties that could be insightful, let me know.
Your device is seen as an unknown device. My only advice is to try on another PC your last working drivers and maybe it will work.
