[Q] Arabic keyboard for MIUI Rom - HTC EVO 3D

How can I install the original Arabic keyboard for Evo 3d GSM MIUI rom .

Aren't there Arabic keyboards on the Play Store? I would think they would work with Miui just like any other app.

I WOULD LIKE TO USE THE STOCK KEYBOARD.I dont like play store keyboard that I tried.

Sorry, missed the word original in your post before. Have you tried backing up the stock keyboard and installing it to Miui?

I will give a try to do this backup.I tried using HTC_IME Keyboard & clicker but aint work in arabic.

Maybe there's a language library or settings file you need to grab too.

[Q] VillainRom 2.0 - Keyboard choice

Hi all,
VillainRom is working very well so far. Congrats to programmer(s).
I just have a problem with the keyboard. I cannot have the swiss keyboard (qwertz) anymore even if I choose French (Switzerland) in the languages menu. The only possible keyboard available is qwerty whatever language or keyboard I choose.
In stock rom, it's possible to choose qwerty, qwertz, azerty, etc...
Can anyone help ?
Thank you in advance.
Try the market but it may be too early for 2.3.4 compatible the devs are likely to wait until 2.3.4 is an official release .
jje
I think it's due to VillainRom because in stock rom KG1, the choice is possible.
I also noticed that the predictive text XT9 does't work.
I don't want to install any additional keyboard from the market

[Q]how to put stock chinese keyboard to other rom

anyone know
how to extract stock keyboard & and put into other rom

here is the hong kong rom show in upper xda thread
do anyone know the method?
See this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1189122
But I guess you either have to use an odexed rom or deodex the files yourself. I am using a deodexed rom (Cognition) and copying the chinese input files doesn't work for me.
Also here are some roms (LeoMar75 Revolution, Cognition, Litening) that are supposed to have chinese input added: http://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=568&t=2188818&last=30702086
I have not tried these though. They haven't been updated for all of the new versions.
Unless you have particular affinity for the stock keyboard, just download sougo from android market, much easier.
The fullscreen handwriting in the stock Samsung keyboard is pretty good. Not all of the Chinese keyboards on the market support fullscreen. I know Baidu does, but not sure about Sougo.
I also like Google Pinyin (from Market) for typing traditional characters with pinyin.

[Q] what's the newest ICS stock rom with RTL+Arabic language?

All ics roms have rtl, but you need keyboard that support rtl writing.
If on custom ROM, simply install latest Swype beta and download language.
If stock, root, remove Swype, install new Swype beta.
Or search market for other 3Rd party keyboards.
can't find it in languages i'm with latest nord europe ics rom
where is african or arabic ics rom?
ICS Resurrection 1.9.1
I am running the latest ICS Resurrection custom rom 1.9.1 and I can confirm that arabic is there. Just go to settings--> input & Language --> default. Then click on Android keyboard --> input language then uncheck use system language box and select check mark beside English and Arabic languages boxes.
When you go to keyboard, long press the space key and it will prompt you to select typing language.
Good Luck
The Wanamlite ROMS (currently 11.7) have been developed to have full Arabic support, and are as close to stock as you could want, with nice little extras...
Apreciate any help

Do you mean that any ICS ROM will handle RTL text right away?
I have the same question as the OP. I have an unbranded (not carrier bound) gt-i9100 and I am looking for an Official ICS ROM that supports RTL. The system menus doesn't need to be in any other language though.
Peace
Do you really want me to type all that which you have quoted by me?
Oh well.... Yes ics supports rtl by default

they removed the files that is needed for chinese ime.
alternatively you can use diopen chinese ime which is better, especially in chinese
There is a flashable Chinese keyboard on the i9305 forums. Works fine on i9300. Or you could get it from Wanam's roms (awesome guy).
QQ sucks at making keyboards, my opinion. Samsung's is not bad, especially once it gets used to you.
