SGSII Stock Calculator

Hey guys, keeping the topic's size tiny, any of you can provide me with SGSII's stock calculator APK and the ODEX file? If yes, thanks in advance.

Anyone?
You should be able to get the file from any Stock ROM.
Can't you just head over to "/system/app/", copy Calculator.apk and Calculator.odex, zip it and upload here. Since ODIN flashable files cannot be extracted (I believe).
If you take a look at my signature you could see I'm not on Stock ROM, so I can't help you...
But you have several ways to achieve what you want:
1) Get it from Stock ROM: You CAN mount .img and zImage files with a little help from our friend Google.
2) Nandroid your phone, install Stock ROM, get files and restore phone.
3) Wait very patiently for some user that will read this post and has an untouched Stock ROM installed in the phone.

[Q] rk2918 based Custom ROM question

Hello all, i'm having some difficulties with customizing my rk2918 based tablet. I managed to download the original firmware and it is in .img format. Now I have managed to take apart the single .img file into multiple .img files, customized and rooted it with dsixda's kitchen and rebuild the ROM. Now my question is, can I somehow convert the zipped package back into the multiple .img files, or even into the single .img file so I can flash it with RKupdate or RKbatchtool? I have searched my ass off for a solution but I can only find tuts on how to extract image files, not the other way around....
Not sure I understand your situation, do you now have multiple img files, or one zip file?

is there a way to extract from the tablet the parameter file that rk2819tools uses? to have a backup?

[Q] Init.d

Where is the init.d folder under etc in our stock rom zip?? can anyone help me please.thanks in advance
Stock Roms zip are usually encrypted. You won't be able to extract any system files from it.
If you need it, your best bet is to extract it from a phone running it, or perhaps a backup made with custom recovery.

Wi-fi error

Hello xda members
I downloaded a stock rom for android 2.3.3 for my device(Galaxy ACE) and flashed it using odin.
Trying to open wifi but it gives me an error and do not want to start.
I found that the extracting of system.rfs (to delete some APK file) and compressing it again in the rom causes this problem, So i flashed the stock rom without extracting system.rfs
and the wifi starts normally.
I need to delete and add some APK file to the rom. ANY HELP,please.

Extract the zip package, add your apk into system / app, compress zip, get a signature rom package. That's all.

How to extract 100% of ROM from SPD (Spreadtrum) and make it flashable

Hi!
Ive been tinkering around and just cant find a way on how to do it...
I tried using TWRP backup but when renaming the .win file to .tar I could not see the system folder..
I got the stock rom but its in .pac and no idea on what to do with it to make it flashable via TWRP or edit it to make a custom rom..
Basically I want to create a custom rom for myphone which is a Myphone My28s
Hope someone can point me in the right direction
