Best camera ? X10 vs HTC evo 3d

Okay guys in United states ! I'm planning to buy a evo 3d but in Europe we're still waiting for it (now we get Lg Thrill...). I can't find any help regarding camera quality, compared to our x 10 (in 5 Mpx).
Since you have the evo 3d, can someone compare to our x10 sensor ?
Thanks !!
Our camera is way better. For making videos the evo is better because of its fullhd support. Htc cameras are always crap for taking photos

Here's a review of the EVO 3D:
www.phonearena.com/reviews/HTC-EVO-3D-Review_id2768
The reviewer says the photos taken are just average in quality. There are also samples in the article.
My girlfriend has an EVO 4G, and I hate that results of that camera. When doing indoor shots without flash you'll end up with lots of blurry, dark, and grainy pictures. It also does not support macro which is a big fail given that the EVO 4G (or the 'Supersonic' elsewhere) was considered one of the best Android phones a year ago.
I have never been impressed with HTC camera quality. In fact I strongly believe there cameras are garbage. Thats just one reason why Ill never own a HTC device again.

Only problem I have with x10 camera is that taking good photos takes alot of practice.
So if I want to be in a picture and I need someone else to take the photo....well they just struggle and then insult my beloved phone... :,(

My phone is a HTC and pics arent as good but you can't really tell the difference unless ur a photophile. Go over to the evo forums and ask the same question. You're obviously going to have biased answers depending on which forum.
IMHO, HTC cameras are a piece of crap and nowhere to be compared to an X10.. not even the mini.. But that's just me.
go to gsmarena and do some comparisons and read the reviews..

im pretty sure if they wanted to make a phone with a good camera they'd make it 10 times better than our x10's camera...
Thanks a lot for your answers
On x10, I can shoot in macro mode with (often) increible quality. But when it comes to shoot a bit far things, quality is very random.
It's very hard to tell because it's personal opinion, I know it will sound different if I post such topic on HTC forum
And... Kinda harder, Optimus 3D (aka Thrill) vs EVO 3D vs x10 ? It looks the two 3d devices are almost the same. Some reviewers will soon do a big 3d compete (HTC, lg, Nintendo 3ds, g-slate, pro camera)...
I do try to find out what's the best device for shooting in these three phones
Problem solved : I've actually ordered a Galaxy SII
I've compared HTC Sensation vs SII vs x10 thanks to GSMArena.
Sensation was fantastic as video recorder (in test) : very detailled, perfect fluidity, good saturation...
I finally chose the SII because :
- Saturation is less (altough I prefer Sensation saturation)
- Less contrast and less destructive colors
- Sensation adds noise to several colors, and it can be VERY destructive on some photos...
Guess the SII is very good choice, crazy power, good photos, I'd prefer to give Sense UI a try but Sensation lacks of ram

Desire X and Desire V

Is Desire X and Desire V share the same platform apart from the processor?
http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=4951&idPhone2=4805
Come on dude, don't just send a link like that without even checking if what it says is right... Nothing is right on gsmarena. There is no dual SIM on the One V, there is no compass on the Desire X, and so on... Sorry but this site is Bulls***
Beside that, you're doing a nice job and I appreciate that!
@multi888, what do you mean by platform? check this video, it's a short comparison between both phones, I can't post the link yet but just look after this on youtube: HTC Desire X vs HTC One V Phone Comparison

Stay connected and entertained while on the go with Desire V. With a premium 4” display, enjoy pictures shared by your friends or web browse in a richer experience. Continue the fun with authentic sounds brought to you by Beats Audio. And because Desire V has dual SIM capability, always stay connected and never have to choose between work and play.
Maybe we both should do some research
Haha d'oh... :silly: So there is a "Desire" V too, didn't get that...
Still I don't find gsmarena a trustful source, they make a lot of mistakes! I'm looking forwards to buy that phone and I made a lot of comparison, and I was waiting a bit more from a website who is used by a lot of phone shops in my country...
Desire X has more RAM and better CPU, Desire V has two sims (during call only one will be active). I think the display on Desire X is better, and also Desire V doesnt have DLNA?
If you need dual Sim capatibility, then buy Desire V. But if you search for a good dualcore mid-range phone with a nice display , buy the Desire X
i must say Desire X battery life is awesome. I need to recharge my Sensation XE 2 times a day but my Desire X ca last whole day. I am happy with it.

huumm.. Vidoe playback quality

hi guys .... i was watching videos for the last few days, while i`m on a trip .... and I noticed that the video playback quality of X+ has decreased, before like a month or so i tested ONE S and ONE X+ phone to phone on the same 1080p video clips and ONE X+ was outstanding, and now .... both phones looks the same .... both phones are on JB and the one X+ had an update before like a week or two .... And ONE X+ is using stock rom not rooted ...
if anyone can tell me something bout this i`ll be very glad :highfive:

[Q] To One X or not to One x that is the question

Hi all, I proudly owned a one x and following a mix up with the shop supplying a one x 16gb instead of the 32gb I was supposed to get I am getting a choice of any device I want, I am seriously considering the one x+. Is this device worth getting?
What makes it better than the standard one x
What other devices would you recommend
honestly up to you. pointless question

Increased clock speed, larger 64gb memory, updated battery, JellyBean out the box, better looking and feel to back of phone, updated camera.
Unless I'm mistaken anything that was good on the One X has been kept, and anything not so good improved.
Check gsmarena.com, which I think has a comparison review.
Not sure where you are, bit the Droid DNA is a top notch phone and you could consider that if I only want HTC. Samsung GS3, Note 2, Nexus 4....or wait for HTC M7. Maybe wait for MWC as the next generation of phones might be on show.

ONE vs ONE X+ which should i choose?

Hi guys currently i have a HTC ONE X and my upgrade is due this month. I have been offered 2 deals by o2 to stay with them on my current £26pm package.
New HTC one £30 upfront
or the HTC one X+ for no additional charge
both include unlimited calls / texts and 1gb data.
Which one should i go for and why? i mainly use my phone for music and social networking, with the odd game of 8 ball pool.

HTC One X+ has better hardcore gaming (for now but needs root to break free)
HTC One has better low light in camera, HTC One X has better day light
HTC One has better screen
HTC One has better sound on all speakers
HTC One has better battery consumption
Metal vs Polycarbonate, both excellent build your choice
1% difference between the One X and X+
for music and social the One is definitly much better (Thanks to boomsound, Zoe and blinkfeed)
go with the One
Sounds like both of the phones are overpowered for what your phone needs are.

I think reviews have stated the HTC ONE has improved in every area...
I just love the design, interface and specs.
Super excited to get mine

I don't think we can say that just yet. We need a proper comparison first but if you've already found one I'd like to check it out.
Given what the OP said he uses the phone for I would recommend he/she save their money. None of you would recommend a computer that costs 2000$ to someone wanting it for facebook, youtube, and skype specifically, so why would you recommend a newer more expensive phone?

HTC One should be your choice. The Full HD screen and Li-Po battery says all!
Tried both didnt feel that much difference uaing the device itself approx. same speed and performance but that extra 0.2 kicks in while gaming but i really will go with the one
