Just wanted to start off by saying that I've been following Lloir's development work for the past few months and he has really been outdoing himself with stuff.. in case you don't know, heres a bit of a background of him:
-was on a team for ROMs on the Xperia X8
-ported CM9 to the One V
-ported CM10 to the One V
-started his own ROM for the One V
-ported recoveries to the One V
He has actually already started trying to post stuff for this device, but at the moment he is kind of stuggling since he is blind devving... I know these threads are kind of frowned upon, but I think that if we got him a device, he could do some great work for the community. I personally no longer have the time to work on devices.
I've known Lloir for a bit and he is a genuine person; if you think the same, then please pledge a little money.
I've already talked to Lloir and he said he would most certainly be interested in grabbing one of these phones, but at the moment he is short on money.
MSRP for a One X+ (unlocked) is $700 USD
This is how it will go down: simply post in this thread to pledge some money towards the cause. You pledge an amount now. Once a dev comes through with a confirmed deliverable, you pay.
Note that bounties aren't exclusively released to those who paid, it becomes available to the entire community, but those of us who pledge are putting more on the line to give developers an incentive to work on it.

I've always been a lurker/downloader on XDA so if this is the wrong way of going about this than please correct me. I came over from the at&t HOX and so far we are lacking in development on our at&t HOX+. Hasoon2000 is willing to commit to our device and has already done a lot in the way of helping us with root. The device runs just under $600 with tax from at&t and I am willing to start the funding with $50. I work for at&t and can also get an early upgrade to him to knock another $100 off the price. That puts us at $450 needed to get a driven developer working on our device.

I made an error in my tally posting. Lack of sleep, my apologies. $450 is needed after my original $150. I am adding another $25 to the pool which will bring the money needed from others to $425. The total donations to this point are $310 before my $175.
AT&T HOX+ is just under $600 as stated in the above text.

To break an even $100 needed i'm in for $15 usd bucks bro! Really looking forward to a very fast and optimized "Sense" rom myself. Just keep it as is basically but fully optimized as JB 4.1 is pretty dang flawless as it is but could use quite a bit of modifications to fully optimize this bad boy! Especially some CPU tweaks for graphics so non-tegra games don't come out like crap for us. Thanks again for your help and beyond this $15 for your device will also happily donate more once the "Sense" rom is up and running . Thank you!

The idea of this thread was to serve as an un bricking thread eventually,
I am looking into a riffbox for jtag service, I am approaching xda to see if any users would be interested in helping me cover the cost of said riffbox
if you were to donate towards the cause in return you would receive free unbrick service and jtag service for all your devices as long as the riffbox supports the CPU architecture
If this is of no interested not a big deal i just thought i would give the community a chance to get involved rather than keeping all the cool toys at my house and not sharing
This thread will be the hub for service requests. If you happen to need unbrick service, you will find this thread and us to help you.
I will post a log of all payments made from that money plus all Items received (e.g. the RIFF Box, the cables, Jigs, etc.)
I will also keep an online "work and ticket tracker" so that you can see live reports /pictures of the status of your repairs

That's an awesome deal! I just didn't want to trade my iPhone 5 in, because I can sell it for more than they would give me.
Yeah the best thing about the iPhone is its Resale value. No phones really come close besides the Note 2.

Just bought mine from Sams Club (42003) for $88 + tax. Loving it so far!
got mine for $100 from Amazon about a week ago. love it so far. getting used to Sense (over my Skyrockets CM 10.1), but starting to really dig Blinkfeed.
Mine arrives today, and I am anxiously awaiting for the UPS man.
