[Q] Gyration Air Mouse with Vegan Tab Gingerbread

Will Gyration's mouse work on a g-tablet running Vegan-Tab Gingerbread 7.0.0? When I plug it into the usb port a mouse pointer appears, but it only moves horizontally at the top of the screen. Scroll wheel highlights screen icons but clicking doesn't open them.
I'm getting ready to play streaming sports video (espn, fox soccer) on my tv using the dock's hdmi port so using my Gyration mouse from the couch would be great. Thanks for any help.
I searched the forums but only found thread on Gyration keyboard, not mouse.
Re: Gyration Air Mouse with Vegan Tab Gingerbread
Clarification: While the boot screen says my version of Vegan Tab is 7.0.0, it is in fact VEGAn-GE-7.1.0-smb_a1002-BL-1.1. Which may explain why my g-tablet detected the mouse in the first place. Sorry for any confusion.

[Q] Orientation of Home Screen

Using CM7 3.0 on my HPTP, running Zeam Launcher, is there any way to make the home screens work in Landscape? never bothered me on the Nook, but I use the touchpad case in landscape all the time...
Thanks

WebOS Swipe Gestures on Android CM7

So I'm curious if there is any type of app that allows you to move back in CM7 by swiping in from the left of the screen like in WebOS. This is a great feature and it seems far more cumbersome to have to hit the back button on the bottom of the screen when using android.
I've found a few apps like Wave Launcher that at least let you move between apps by gesturing, but nothing to move back to previous screen.
Thanks.

Google search gesture for Jellybean tablet.

Works while being on any app just place your finger down on the home screen and then swipe your finger up.

Unable draw or drag and drop files with touchpad : bug or feature ?

Hi!
I'm a new user and I'm very disapointed by touchpad behaviour.
Using a mouse, no problem, I can draw or drag and drop files by keeping left button pressed like under any other OS.
But with touchpad, both buttons seem acting as a simple click even if they are kept pressed.
Nevertheless, I found a button that works as expected(?) : the touchpad itself !
Indeed, the whole touchpad of my Lenovo X121e is a button itself; if I press strongly the sensitive surface, it clicks... and stays pressed for RemixOS too.
But it's unusable, it requires too much pressure to permit smooth and precise moves.
So, my question is : is it the "normal" behaviour of touchpad or a mapping bug due to extra buttons of my laptop ?
Thank you in advance,
Regards,
Ed

On my Asus T100TA touchpad works just like in Windows - click with the buttons or double tap to click and hold. I think this should be the default behaviour.
Did you try double tap in order to click and hold?
Anyway, it seems like your touchpad is not supported.
I don't remember if Remix didn't have some touchpad options in the settings. Anyway, I'll check that soon.

Click to collapse
Thanks Vioner,
I have tried to change "Enable Trackpad" (on/off) with no success.
It seems double tap works for moving icons or windows on desktop but not for moving files accross file manager windows.
But I just discovered left button works as expected when I use trackpoint instead of touchpad...
