Ok, I Just got my MK808 mini pc and I found a huge problem because I was planning to replace my tv box for at least 10 months and if I dont solve te problem it ill not las that longer...
The chip is a RK3066 (many tabs have the same chip)
It was sold as a 1.6ghz dual core... and the problem is not that it doenst go any further than 1ghz, it just doent scales down.... (stays on 1ghz indenpendent of what you are doing, and thats to much... i gets hot and without any need....)
I used this app and 2 others to confirm this...
And if I go to CPU I see the time it spent on each clock speed... and it is always on 1000mhz... (100percent) BUT the app also shows that it has the 1600mhz available... so it seems to me that the cpu is set to 1ghz/1ghz or 1ghz max with the performance kernel.... (why the f would the manufacturer do this??)
So I tried the finless ROMs 1.4, 1.5 and 1.5A and 3 different kernels on the 1.5 and I get the same result
If I change the max or min speed on a cpu app (tried NO FRILLS and rom toolbox PRO) nothing happens, it still showing 1000mhz (1008 i think)
Tried to set another governor and still the same...
set on boot and reboot but still the same...
any solution ??
thanks

The Android OS, pre-load apps occupied same storage, and the system need to seperate some memories as ROM ( for install apps and stock app data,), and the GPU default occupied about 40M-50M as cache. so it's only show about 4.8GB
Flash Firmware
I think Flash new firmware can resolve the problems.

how can i use my s2 i9100g for 2 full days without the need to charge it again?
what kernel, rom, apps do you recommend?
i'm new to this thing but already informed myself. i got the streetware kernel and the original 2.3.6 firmware. i capped the cpu to 300-600 mhz and its good like this but i need an app that autokills services that are hidden. like "Badge Provider" etc. or even better: install a kernel or rom that doesnt include all that ram-eating ****.
.
2 full days without charging
normal usage = no
light usage = no also
flight mode = yes
that is based on my experience.
now im using codeworkx ICS kernel. its quite good for me. quite heavy usage but it last for half day
I/O scheduler: noop
governor: hotplug
autokill services app might consume ur battery more because it have to run again and again.
to kill stock application, maybe u can refer to this
link: SGS2 Removable
credit to the owner (sorry i forgot where i get that from, but im sure its from XDA forum ) but that one is for GB, for ICS im not quite sure. maybe someone in this forum could help us :highfive:
i kinda messep up my s2 and get errors now and there. nothing critical though.
what rom and kernel would others recommend
i'd rather use gingerbread than ics if its better for the battery life. and one more question: can i use i9100 roms on i9100g ?

Cm9 is the Best rom i've used.
Better than stock one, for battery life as well as for stability

Hello,
how? did u do it?
I made a recovery sd from a thread i saw in other forum, but with no luck.
Mine is bricked and when i put the sd in and enter in recovery mode (vol - and pwr), it displays "Upgrade step1!dont power off", and it stays on a bootloop always displaying the same msg.
Already tried the aml burning tool, with no luck, it always displays the error Write data to ram failed. :/
Any1 can help with this?

Honestly, what you need, if you like to play games, is another phone. This obviously depends on what type of games you are trying to run, but between the single core processor, a weaker GPU, and very small amount of RAM as well as being on Gingerbread, there just won't be much to do.
Your best bet, to help a little, will be to either install a custom kernel and / or a custom rom that will have some performance optimizations. You might want to head over to the forum for your phone and read up on how others are enjoying the mods to see if they would work for you.

Hello !
Can you give me some advises about choosing a Kernel or a ROM ?
Thank you

Hello,
First of all i hope I'm in the right category, sorry If I'm wrong.
So, i have a question about this tablet. It has a really low internal storage that it uses (2GB) and on the other hand it has phone storage total space of (29.68GB). It's a MTK6582 from AliExpress (China) and the MTK Droid Tools says that: "MT6572 (MT6582 is Fake!)". So my question is can any partitioning be done to improve the size of internal memory or it's just simply fake? I'll attach some screenshots with this tablets information.
Thank you for reading and i hope you can help me out.
Thanks!

I did backup everything with MTK Droid Tools before i thought about doing anything... Are all the files that i need in that backup? Can you direct me to a guide on how to do that, because MTK says "MT6572 (MT6582 is Fake!)- ATTENTION! Fake Hardware in kernel or firmware doesn't correspond to phone! " which confuses me.

I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to these things, can you help me choose a firmware based on those pictures?
Edit: Found this, is this good? https://firmwarefile.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-n9106-clone
Mine is D101_MB_V4.0 2014-09-26 and this one is D101_MB_V3.0 2014-09-30, does the difference in version matter? Cannot seem to find the correct one.

On the motherboard of the tablet that i have it says: D101_MB_V4.0 2014-09-26 but the one that i linked is for the version 3.0, should i try to do it or maybe use something else like this https://www.needrom.com/download/n9106d101-mtk6572-10-inch/ ?
I'm looking for help finding the link for D101_MB_V4.0 2014-09-26 or confirmation if the one of those two that i linked would work?
This one says in description it can be used for both D101 V2.0 & V4.0 but I'm not sure. https://www.needrom.com/download/n9106d101-mtk6572-10-inch/
I've recently flashed the latest update on my H10 and there is a few bugs

Got the img from this place and PhoenixUSBPro to flash

Understand there is few versions, the 2GB ram 16GB rom version does not have 5GHZ radios and bluetooth, i am having 4GB ram 64GB rom.
Did a few experiment and the box actually works with firmware for T95 and TX6 which run same chipset.
The phoenix tool didn't give me the option to backup firmware before flashing so i am unable to go back.
hello im having same issue with a transpeed t98-616 4/32gb did you managed to solve the problem?
i asked for a exchange fom my seller.
The tool can't do rom backup at all...
Please give me firmware

Know well that only the correct version for CPU chipset RAM memory like 4Gb and 64Gb (Which ia not ROM) but RAM storage space, firmware must by used.
Hello all, I am looking for Android 10 Allwinner H616 4Gb 64Gb firmware or for Android 11.
Hi guys, hope anyone might be able to help me.
I bought a H10 Max Android TvBox. (H10 Max)
It has Android 10 and the Settings app had the option "Root Switch" that i enabled.
After reboot, I installed Magisk, it asked to update and... boom, rebooted and never came back...
Completly bricked...
Now i got the firmware, the PhoenixSuit 1.10, LiveSuit 1.11 and PhoenixCard 4.2.4 and none of this worked...
It seems that it is so simple but i manage not to do it...
Maybe some of you know what is happening and may give me a tip or a fix to any of this situations...
BTW, the driver "USB Device(VID_1f3a_PID_efe8)" is installed and it seems ok...
PhoenixSuit 1.10
It detects the box, prompts to format, i click Yes (twice), it says it will start to flash but never does, it remains on this screen for ages... eons...

LiveSuit 1.11
Every image i use is says it is inavlid
PhoenixCard 4.2.4
It formats the SCard ok, but the box wont start any recovery
This i suspect it might have to do with the card i´m using, because the box on its specs can only read 32Gb SDcards and i´m using a 64Gb... Don´t have any other i can use for this, and tried recovery using USB Stick but it wont start any recovery either....
Please any tips would help, thanks
