I am running 4.0.4. The latest stock ATT version rooted. I had an old HTC aria with sense UI. Is there any way I can get it themed with the rounded gray dock launcher and all the trimmings? You guys know better than I do what I need and what the rest of the UI looked like. Pretty sure it was the release before gingerbread. Thanks guys.

is there htc sense ui that will work on ginger bread?
btw - recently i upgraded to kalimginger and smartdialing is not working. is there some fix or anything?
i dont think that there be any sense ui,because gingerbread has its own new user interface.
maybe adw launcher will invent a new theme but i dont think that something like this will happen.
maybe im wrong but im pretty sure that there isnt any sense ui.
if you have any problem contact the person who build this rom or write something in ths thread where the rom is.cant realy help you.sry
Guess that Sense UI must be ported from other phone, which has Sense on Ginger. So HTC need to support phone and than port could start..
It's not only look about interface, but some things are reworked from base and port Sense from 2.2, in my opinion, will fuc*ed ROM
Exactly! We need the wildfire wwe release of 2.3 update before anything like sense UI on gingerbread will happen.
God know how long that will be...

Hi and Hello!
As the Topic states, I want to remove all Sense Stuff and use the Android 4.0 Standard.
Is this possible? How?
Is the standard Homescreen in the Rom or is only Sense in there?
Thanks in Advance
There are no fully functional AOSP ROMS out right now for this phone because of HTC not releasing source code for certain things, like 4G wimax.
There are a few sense roms that have most of the sense removed, but it's still not pure ICS.
There are some launchers that will look like AOSP, but again, that's just a sort of skin over the sense UI.
Hi guys,
I've been trying to push the Sense 4 clock into the ICS ROM (CoolRom v10), but the only ones I could find are specifically for GB somehow, causing the ROM to boot, but not show anything else but a notification bar and a black screen.
Is there a way to get the Sense4 clock widget into one of the ICS Roms?
I see Mwakious managed to have this in his ROM, but changing ROMs is not something I really want to
The only ones I have seen that do not force close are the ones that are sense 3.6 skinned to look like 4.0.

Hi Guys.. I'm new.. I have a HTC Sense rom RC4B with sense 2.1 and android 2.3 and i have a questen how to make from the Launcher (Rosie) the Carusell Effect??
The effect ist not active i love this effect
or where can Port for HTC Legend sense 3.0 apps for sense 2.1 is this makeable??
sorry for my english
I am not sure I'm getting the question right. But, you're looking for an effect on your Launcher?
I did a quick search and it seems that a few roms with the Rosie Launcher has removed the Carousel effect from the rom. Your best bet is probably to flash a new rom that actually has the effect, or download another launcher that has a similar effect.
The carousel effect absolutely destroyed Sense 3.0 and Sense 3.5. HTC finally got their heads straight on Sense 3.6 (aka Sense 4.0 lite with ICS), and either toned it down or removed it (I forget). It's awful.
This video in particular sticks out like a sore thumb for those long, forgotten days:
If you want anything remotely close without an impediment on performance (actually, it's once of your only choices), use LauncherPro (Plus may be needed, not sure), and apply a homescreen transition animation.
Another launcher may have this, and it may be free, but LauncherPro is my launcher of choice despite not having updated for 1.5 years. It's pretty damn fast and has everything I need; no more, no less.
