i installed Cyanogenmod 9 after i faced the EU bug after i followed the EU guide but after following it....i am unable to see my external sd like when i first install and it boots after that i can see space in storage section but when i open the camera it says insert an SD i tried to reinstall it but got the same result i installed passion and i was able to follow the guide successfully.Please help me
I recently installed cm-10.1-20130127-02-acclaim-hd on my nook tablet from a bootable sd. When I tried installing gapps 4.2.1, 4.1.1, and 4.0.4, each time I reboot after trying to flash install it from my sd it tells me that the wizard has stopped working endlessly, each time I hit ok, another box comes up with the same message. Is there a certain version of gapps that I need to install or something that I'm just doing wrong?

Hi,
1. I was on unofficial MIUI v5, which i found here (iXanza on XDA). Was on 3.4.12 and all was fine except for small issues with bluetooth.
2. Yesterday I downloaded the official MIUI v5 3.5.17 and updated the same on my phone without wipe. Everything is okay except many applications needing SDcard is mibehaving - they are not able to see the SDcard - like music and gallery app.
EDIT: Poweramp is seeing the SDcard and able to play music.
3. Funny thing is that the File Explorer sees the SDcard fine and can launch the media files in respective applications successfully. Also, gallery is not even listing phots from the internal storage DCIM\camera and other folders.
4. EDIT: Also, the market is gets stuck in the download operation but refuses to even start.
I know the first suggestion would be do install with wipe but is there any other way as even titanium backup pro is also not seeing the sdcard??
PS: I have also tried formatting the same in FAT32 as suggested in another post but it did not help.

I got my EVO back yesterday, installed CM 10.1 4.2.2, its mostly running smoothly except one thing. its auto updater is looking to be downloading an update but it never stops download process, so i always see a xx files downloading in status bar. probably its also reason of poor battery performance.
Any ideas?

just found out that it was because of my sd card was not detected so, CM was trying to download to unavailable location. its working after re-partitioning sd card

1. Download the Rom and gapps and copy both files in to sd card or ext-sd.
2. Reboot into recovery
3. wipe cache, dalvik cache, data...
4. Install both rom and gapps.
5. Reboot phone...

Note:
1. - Just edit the build.prop, find the line: ro.sf.lcd_density = 270 change the value to 320 save it and reboot.
2. - Download system app remover from playstore
- Open it and grant root permission
- select and uninstall nfc service and pac console.
- reboot.
- this removes nfc wake and pac console force close.

Thanks for this cusrom bro, i will try it.
There's a nfc wakelock and Systemupdateservice wakelock. Other than that the rom is functional.

So far everything works fine.
Bugs:
1) Everytime Wi-Fi is turned on, PAC Console forced close.
2) The resoulution is kinda small & look like tablet.
Maybe I can tweak the build.prop about the resolution.
I can confirm what zahinasaur wrote:
1) PAC Console force closes, but for me, on each boot, but after I disabled it in Manage Apps, it's OK.
2) Resolution looks strange, but it's also OK.
3) New thing: isn't App2SD functionality enabled on this ROM? Can you please package a new version with this functionality enabled?
Besides these, it's works much better than Mokee ROM at least for me, so thank you for your work!
Resolution fix
Just edit the build.prop, find the line:

Mine works best at value 320. You can try different value.
Thank you, this works. I'm more happy with the 296 setting, but you wrote the correct solution for this problem.
2 problems left.
By the way, not installing SuperSU gives you the default (CM?) SU implementation which works better at least for me, for e.g. BusyBox installation.

and what about system update service bug? - for this I have a solution
download my android tools from play store
in service tab -> system -> google play services -> at the end of the list there is system update service, just disabling it worked for my old phone, which had similar bug...
