It isn't working on anything lower than 4.1. You'll have to wait for JB builds to be released.

Does anyone know if / how this can be done?
I am not sure about this idea, but couldn't someone just kind of extract the clock widget, etc.?
If nothing else, a tutorial on decompiling apk files with Virtuous Ten Studio, I really just want the HTC Sense clock and all the clocks in the market do not compare with the flip animation, one comes close by droid27.

I'm sure he'll make a version for it now since we actually have AOSP
I hope so, the Rom I am using can go both aosp and sense 3.6.
Hopefully one that also replaces the immovable search box...

It's probably just desensed, which usually runs on the APex launcher. We don't have any AOSP roms yet. It's not quite stable yet.. But almost
could be, the htc apps do not show up, if i open personalize, there is nothing there in the widgets section lol
The AOSP/CM10 messaging app is bland looking imho, anyone know of any mods?
Other than inverted of course... lol.
Thanks!

You could check out Zelendels Gotham Themed AOKP or CM10 or my Spiderman Themed AOKP or CM10. Zelendel changed the way it looks drastically and looks great. I followed suit with just changing the colors of it a bit. Then if you ONLY wanted the MMS.apk you can pull it from the theme and install it on cm10.

Transparent mms. Really dependent on your wallpaper, but I liked it until just going full inverted.
handcent is the only sms/mms app that i've ever used because it's so nice looking and easy to customize. i've also heard great things about GOsms, but have never used it.
Here's some that I found:

I've been using the Sense 4.0 style for a while now. I had to flash it a few times for it to work though. I'm using it on task's aokp JB ROM.

I'm running the pacman jb alpha v18 ROM with paranoid settings...I saw you could change the UI of YouTube app to a nice 3d black UI but in paranoid settings it does not work ...is there another apk to try? Thanks

The newest you tube update got rid of that interface. Find an older apk and then you can adjust it with a PA Rom

yes they do it
I really like the recent apps style on 4.1 how it's on the left side of the screen but I don't like the new recent apps style how it's horizontal in the middle of the screen. Is it possible to get the 4.1 recent apps onto a 4.2 base?

Handcent just released a new update and added two new themes, one a Samsung TW theme and the other a stock Android ICS theme. I dunno about you but it kinda quelled my need to go AOSP.

I gave it a shot and it doesn't really look like AOSP but it's much closer than just the stock messaging app.
