This problem just happened today. I was doing something and when I checked my phone, the screen appears to be like this i46.tinypic. com/9hnitw. jpg (there's no app drawer on it. It's really annoying me).
I didn't change any setting or whatsoever. It was sudden. Also, the car mode is randomly activated. The battery low notification repeatedly pops up and makes the noises. It's really annoying. My sister has also has an S2 and we tried switching usb cables. Her phone experienced the problem as well with my usb able but my phone works fine with hers. Has anyone experienced this issue? Is it because of the usb cable/charger?
Sounds like a problem with the cable. Get a new one

As kyleforge said it could it be usb cable. That picture shows s2 in desk clock mode which can be accessed when clicking on clock, not sure why it would open by it self unless you connect phone to a dock. If you are rooted and running siyah kernel you could try resetting fuel gauge for battery issues.

I wasn't able to get it to work. Phone shows as connected to usb in the top bar when cable is unplugged. Phone shows spinning battery icon and refuses to boot unless usb is connected. Anyone else has this issue? Any ideas? Not sure where to go from here anymore.

Rub a pin on the USB port on your phone. And try blowing on it.
I had the same problem. Reset my phone, called customer service, etc. I now have a new phone coming but I think I found the problem. Open adfree and revert, then uninstall. Fixed my problem. I then went back to my dropbox and found an old version and I'm running that just fine now.

Every time i turn off my S 2 it starts showing these two images alternately:

Only way I can turn on the device is to remove the battery or while charging.
Also sometimes the phone keeps thinking usb plug is still connected because the charging and 100% icons won't leave and unable to toggle usb debugging.
Phone is rooted and currently using KE7 with default kernel. Anyone stumbled upon this problem?
Restore to original and if not cleared return phone .

I thought these were a MIUI ROM issue, so I put the LeoMar's Revolution ROM, but the problems persist:
1) Sometimes (and sometimes quite often), when I unlock the screen, the Music app opens. I don't know why. I have not had it playing music in the background, nor do I have my headphones plugged in.
2) When I plug in my phone to the charger, the touch screen starts having sensitivity issues. Unfortunately, my original charger died so I bought one of the Amazon - could this be the problem? I have not had this problem with the original charger.

1) you may have something like jkay lockscreen that lets you choose what your phone should do if you unlock it. Slide left= music, slide down = calender and so on. Check the rom thread or see if you can find any options for that.
2) puh that is hard to say, maybe you got a chance to use an original charger from someone you know and compare.
Or...did you try to charge over usb and see if the problem is still there?
1) Thanks, I do have JKay lockscreen, and those indeed were the gestures in it. The question is, how do I turn them off without turning off the whole JKay? When I try to select the "unlock up/down", it gives me a list of apps, but I don't want it to open any app, I just want it to unlock the screen.
2) Doesn't happen when I charge over USB. So it's definitely something wrong with the charger

I love using MeanBean Rom and the only issue i have is when i connect my phone to my Car Radio via USB, I cant get the phone to toggle between "Disk Drive" and "HTC Sync Manager". The icon in the notification area keeps popping up, but not long enough for me to click on it to change the "USB Connection Type". Same thing with the charging via USB through the car radio, keeps going on then off, on then off. Anyone else having this problem?

What kind of car is it? Mine doesn't recognize android (only ios), I get the same thing.

Its a Sony Aftermarket radio (Sony MEX-BT3100P) and it worked fine before placing MeanBean on the phone. It worked on non rooted phone just fine. I was just wondering if anyone else is on MeanBean and is experiencing the same thing
I had that issue but it turned out to just be a loose/bad micro usb I had two that were not evo specific but generic after switching to an old Motorola ecomoto usb it worked w/o any issue.

Sometimes it goes off automatically and whenever it's not there my battery life gets into Double. If anyone has this issue or anyone knows to solve this issue please help. (I cleaned the port with alcohol several times but no use)

I'm having the exact same problem here, and this thread is the only result when I Google the notification text :/ Have you had any luck? I'm also unable to charge my phone: plugging in a cord either a) does nothing, or b) elicits this notification again. If I plug in a cord while the power is off, the phone starts up and shows that it is charging, but in fact the percentage continues to go down.
Edit: This is with a LG G7 ThinQ.
