Hey guys,
I'm completely new to Android APP development (done some ROM development), and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good tutorial to start out with? The first app that I want to make would be a wallpaper app where it pulled the wallpapers from a webservice via an AJAX call or something of the like.
If there was a good open source app that does this already, that might be fine. But I would prefer a tutorial on building it myself.
Thanks guys!
YouTube has a bunch of good android development tutorials n video series .. recommend u check it out ..

I'm about to get ready to FINALLY root my phone after having unlock problems
I really wanna get FF7 an FF9 hooked up on there, I understand there is the psx4droid emu and fpse but I cannot find a up to date guide for the galaxy s3 on how to get it all working with download links. I know you can just download the roms but I'm wondering if anybody can directly link me to a tutorial
I have searched google and they are all old posts or useless youtube videos showing the game running for a few seconds
Thanks everyone

There is no specific guide, you just have to tweak the settings until they suit you. But the developer's site should have some basic configurations for games.

So that's it? I can just get the app and then download the ROM and play?

Hello all!
I was wondering if you could give me some answers.. I am running cm10.1.
After using the search tool and getting no final answer, I would like to know if there is a modded gallery with that DLNA icon on the top right of the screen for CM10 rom.
Is this feature a Samsung exclusive thing? Hope it isn't.
Second one:
I have a modded YouTube (from Omega rom) that allows video downloading. Everytime I install cm10.1 nightly updates I needed to reinstall this modded YouTube. Is there a way to override this?
Thanks.

Hey guys. Its been a minute since I been here. Been busy with a lot o things not to mention my time over in the nexus 4 forums.
Anyways I had found this app that let's you download videos from YouTube to your android device. I shared it with my fellow nexus users and since my time here was invaluable and I really love this community, I wanted to share this app with you guys.
All credit goes to OsamaGhareeb who hacked the app and made this possible.
You can follow this link to his thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2213945
Its been tested to work on all devices. No need to delete your stock YouTube app. Just install it like a normal apk and your good to go.
I do not provide any support as I am not the developer of this app. Please direct your questions in the link
I provided.
Without further or do.. Here's the apk guys. Enjoy
Also I will provide updated links to this app when the dev updates as well.
Thanks, can you sign into YouTube I keep getting an error when I try to sign in.

Hope you guys can help me out!
Thx in advance!:good:
