So heres the deal, black star is a big rom, so in order to get theses themes to work correctly on all versions of jelly bean black star just simply, go into rom tool box, manage apps, find all of the all share apps and also all of the s-note apps, convert them from system apps under the advanced tab into user apps, this will free up over 120 mega bites in the roms system storage, allowing for the the extra space needed to incorporate detailed themes and also boot animations, and with this method you do not lose any apps that come with the rom, so its a win, win situation for everyone. Boot Animations
None of these zips are flashable, they all install the old fashion manual way, or through rom toolbox. All audio files that go with the boots need to be renamed "PowerOn" and placed in system/ect/(create a folder and name it "poweron" than put the audio file in their. (case sensitive for the power on files as a side note.

This works right in with the rom but you have to set the lock screen to "ics" I can literally put a month into trying to edit all of these awesome lock screen combinations the geniuses of Novena incorporated, but for now this is again just a start.

So its weird in my opinion to have an update and change log for something like a toggle set, however, I didn't fully understand the SystemUI, and Framework of the Novena ROM well enough, so I made some noticeable mistakes. You would notice them if you used there toggle set.
There was no off on difference in color under the status bar icons, also the data arrows were not visible due to native positioning of the WiFi and 4g icon. And in adittion I made a new signal bar with some style in it. I was iffy about even wasting my time trying it on my phone, but I'm glad I did cause over the day its grown on me big time. So for anyone that doesn't like it, shoot me some feed back and I'll post a link with the standard bars again. And I also changed the power off icon and the time out icons.

The call of duty theme is for black star. The only novena stuff up so far are purple toggles, red toggles and sagat lock screen. Hope that helps.

ATM I am going to stop updating this theme unless any other bugs appear or if fission is updated. I probably won't be coming out with other color updates because I don't have the free time to just work on theming, sorry. I will try and keep this theme updated so it works with all versions of fission though.
Update #2: Removed the gingerbread battery icon version because they had a weird background and I don't think that they are going to work and they don't fit the theme even when they are pink. I also updated the main theme to 2.6.1.
Update #3: Just added the new status bar color version. I am keeping the old one up also because in my opinion it looks better but some people are going to like the new one more.
Update #4: fixed menu color issues and changed the bootanimation ENJOY!. More updates to come tomorrow.
Update #5 *hitting head against wall with all of these updates* There shouldnt be any more bugs and I changed all of the app icons to the elegant steel style. I will continue to update this theme with vibrancy soon and I may change a bit more of the style.
Update #6 something went crazy and the last update so now it's all good
All bugs fixed and new BOOTANIMATION!

Features:
I have included a few very unique features in this theme.
The first one of those features is the launcher2.apk
Launcher2 (stock launcher) is a custom version of the gingerbread launcher. It has 4 items in the dock at the bottom and an app launcher.
The app launcher in launcher2.apk is 3d by default! That means no launcherpro for your 3d app drawer
Also when you open the menu on the main homescreen you get 6 options instead of the stock 5. The added 6th option is a manage apps button (as shown in gingerbread) which takes you straight to the manager apps section in setting where you can stop running apps (like a task manager), uninstall apps or clear the data off of apps.
There are also some other features but I am pretty tired right now and I cannot remember any of them lol.

I really hate to say this and I am so sorry for saying it but the top bar doesn't really match the rest of the theme(looks a bit purple), plus I am having an issue with battery icon not being fully accurate(you think you can make it look like the Gingerbread battery but in pink that always worked more accurately for me). Now the highlighted pink color shown off is more of what I was looking for. But thank you for the hard work.
Maybe we should find a woman to be called the official D2 girl and use her as like a background option. lol

No, rush will be enjoying this one in the mean time. And if you can get the battery meter more accurate that would be a bonus as it seems to be a bit off for me(maybe a gingerbread style battery meter would be more accurate?). Or you can do the suggested changes for 2.6.1.
Anyway I can keep the icons stock color(or the ones I want), while using the rest of this theme the way it is?
Please add some more detail it is kind of hard for me to accomplish anything when you only right a sentance about what you want.

You would have to go into system/app and open each archive without unzipping it and edit the png for the icon.

Yes you would extraxt the original apks from fission and move their icons into each new apk which is supposed to be in an un-extracted archive.

Known bugs:
*BIO PNG on calls isn't themed. I'll take care of that soon.
*Phone.apk isn't updating in updater-script. Hopefully, -viperboy- can fix this for us.
*Battery moves in increments of 20%. It's more likely an xml problem. We're trying to fix it! Please keep in mind, this is tied to the transparent drop down-status bar. If we dump this, we'll lose the status bar. In other words, pick your poison.
*MMS is not black. I'll work on this later.
Important to note:
Clear button is not as seen in the pictures. We're trying to make this MOD on the EVO 3D. It will be available asap.

What is CWM?
A: CWM is also known as recovery. You can get there IF you have root by either downloading quick/fast boot from the market and selecting, reboot>recovery. You can also get there by a battery pull, followed by holding down power and volume down, then releasing power button after 5 seconds.
What is a flash?
A: A flash is executing the zip file in CWM.

Great question. I may end up doing red next. It takes at least 12 solid hours to change everything. I can't give a time line but it's on my list.

You have done a good job mate but I don't like it. It's a bit tacky, if you have the skills to do that though, you can make one that looks cool, I am not criticizing your work, it is just not for me. I would want somthing that looks modern and metalicy if you know what I mean, somthing that goes with the flashy futuristic look of my tab. And again, good work' I couldn't do that . It just doesn't apeal to me. Hope you continue and make a really cool looking one

This was just to help b00sted out. I'm working on my own Ninja theme at the moment. But if you really want, I could make a more futuristic looking christmas lockscreen when I get around to it.
Actually, at a second glance, the lockscreen that comes with the theme is pretty futuristic looking. You could just keep that.

Should have a preview up tonight. Havent even finished the battery yet, I'm on 60 charging. (thats what I started with) I don't have a lot of time on my hands these days to work on stuff so finishing the theme will take longer than usual.

I love the colours of the theme, just not the lock screen. Can you make lock screens that can just be flashed over any theme? I had a cool idea, probably wouldn't be possible, as I don't know what kind of animation can be used on the lock circle. Have you ever seen stargate? How cool would it be to have the lock ring as the stargate and as you press it the gate opens, and the actual center of the ring that you drag to unlock could just be a little star or somthing. Probably not possible but would be great lol. If you haven't heard of stargate just search google or youtube for a vid of the gate opening, then you know what I mean

I'm pretty sure its impossible to make a lockscreen mod that can be flashed over any theme because the location of the files that you need to mod is in the middle of all other framework files. You have to manually overwrite the lockscreen files for each theme you want them on.
I'm pretty sure it would be possible to make the stargate thing you want, but it requires HEAVY xml editing and rearranging because it deals with how the tablet acts and that is WAYY out of my league.

if your talking bout my starfield lockscreen then what your talking about would be completely different
if you actually look at the png ive used its just a pic of stars
i actually managed to make that theme by a mistake when i put the wrong picture in the apk :L
and your themes look quite good tivo and have potential and i no how you feel as my first few themes only got like 10 downloads :L

Telephone Screeen
The telephone screen is not fully compatible with 2.5.9. Launch telephone and open up call settings then hit back button and the screen doesn't refresh properly. Thanks for the theme. It's the best of the VR version. I don't know if there are others experiencing the same thing I do.

Thanks for feedback. I haven't upgraded to 2.5.9 yet so I can't speak to that. I did test what you mentioned on 2.5.6 and it doesn't have the problem you mentioned. I'll see if I can upgrade and fix this weekend.

I just upgraded to 2.5.9 and re-applied the theme. Unfortunately I did not experience the issue you described. If possible can you take a screenshot or outline again the steps if you are still experiencing this. Would like to correct if there is an issue.

I tried the theme, and it looked awesome. I had some problems with reading the text in the battery indicator. My live wallpaper was Force Closing, and I don't know what might be wrong with it. Other than these, it was really beautiful. I like the boot animation so much.
I just have one quick question. Is it possible to have the boot animation separately?

The problem with the battery text is due to having the "Display Battery percentage" option set in the display settings page. Turn that off. The issue is the battery icons I used already have the percentage indicator as part of it. Thus this option is actually overlaying the percentage on top of what is already there making it difficult to read, since it's not a perfect overlay. Turn it off an you'll be able to clearly read it.

thanks for the tip about the battery percentage. I totally forgot to disable it. now it looks just fine. And btw, thanks for the bootscreen. It is really nice to have it on other roms.
Is there a way we can retain some of the customizations? And use the rest of your theme.

Absolutely. You simply need to extract my zip and remove any of the apks that you don't want. Then re-zip the file. Just make sure when you re-zip you use no compression. Use 7-zip and use the store option when re-zipping the file.

Sorry guys, not having much luck themeing Gmail. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get the theme to apply. Not sure what's different as it works for every other app. Thus have hit a brick wall. Still researching but may be a while.
Is there a way to change the generic contact icons from male to female and vice versa? Not a big deal really it's just i feel bad that some of my friends are the wrong sex lol

Jb blue is good one.

We can't do full backups on the Active yet (locked bootloader ), so it's just slightly more nerve-racking to flash anything at all using Flash Gordon. I was just wondering if anyone brave had already tried it.
I guess I'll take a look at the zip script and see if I can manually backup the files it replaces...
Edit: just checked it out and realized it's the SystemUI.apk and framework-res, not just a few simple image files. That makes it a little more nerve-racking since we can't adb those files back over if the new ones screw something up. I MAY still try it, though... not sure yet. LOL
Edit2: if I provide those two files from the S4A i537, could you modify them with the blue images (dark or jb blue, either ones) and provide an S4A-specific flashable zip?
