Just install like any normal apk
You can go to
www.androidpolice.com for info and more DL links. Its probably here on xda as well. Or just DL from my link here

???
I think its safer to update it directly from Google PlayStore whenever possible. However, Google think they're too cool to post MD5 checksums.

Hey guys,
I just installed a custom ROM into my S2 but inside there are only basic applications and nothing related to link to google data or app inside. (Example: Google play store, Gmail, Google map, etc). i tried to install the google play store app in my phone and i opened the app, it auto close off. Can someone assist me?
Last time i facing this problem too and i resolved it by went to some webs that taught me to install something but now i cant find it. =((
Did you install *just* the ROM or did you install another package called Gapps too? From your description I'd say you forgot to install Gapps. Gapps is an acronym for Google Apps, and without it you won't be able to access ANY of the Google services. Go back to the original ROM thread and look for a link for Gapps. DL the file and follow the install instructions.......
Advice from the (semi) experienced.....
Next time, read the ROM thread thoroughly, and download everything it tells you to.....if the link is there, it's there for a reason.......

you defiantly should download gapps and install them using cwm, for more information search google for ''gapps''
Like mentioned above DOWNLOAD GAPPS for you ROM. Dont know wich ROM you have but
IF android version 4.1.0 then download gapps for that version. If you have version 4.2.1 then download gapps for that version.
that´s why you missing Playstore
I'm running a Moto X 2013 (XT1053) with 4.4.4 stock rom and currently not rooted. For years I've use the gallery app called QuickPic. This app was recently sold to Cheetah Mobile, and I've decided that I just want to stay with the last version by the original developer and not update this app anymore. I uninstalled QuickPic from my phone, deleted the entry from the Play Store list of apps currently or previously installed, and then side loaded the appropriate apk for the version of QuickPic I'm interested in keeping. When I go into the Play Store, it is still showing QuickPic for update. I didn't think side loaded apps were associated with the Play Store. Can someone clarify or suggest a method to disassociate this app with the store.
Sideloaded apps are if their signature is the same as the one in the Play Store. If you search here in the forums, there are at least a couple of QuickPic 4.5.2 apks (pre-Cheetah) with different signatures you can download, or you can download & install the TBO Updater from Team BlackOut here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2283828 and install the "Dual-Themed QuickPic" from Iced Venti Mocha in the "Main BlackOut Apps" menu.
Alternately, you can use Titanium Backup Pro to break the Market link for the version you have installed.
Excellent - thank you. I'll look for the alternate apk's. I have Ti Backup Pro, but didn't think it worked without root. I'll probably go back to root after doing the 5.1 update.
You would need root, yes. Here's one page you can get the apk from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-quickpic-v4-5-2-classic-version-t3204543
I think there is another but can't find it at the moment.

Is there any working method to keep certain version of Google Play Store and prevent it from auto updating itself in CM12.1 (Android 5.1)?
I've read a tutorial on XDA (LINK) about creating specific folders but my GPS is still updating itself to 6.2.10.A-all version.
In this version I have error code 963 while updating my applications.
In "factory version" of Google Play Store (5.0.36) I don't have this problem, and applications updates correctly (so, now I have to remove GPS update and restore to factory version, update my apps - I have to do these steps every time I want to update my apps because GPS is auto updating itself to the newest version after launching it)
unistal the current google play store and install play store apk version you wish to work with it
thats it

oki so go on settings==>app==>playstore==>unistall update,i think this will work for u
Today's date is 17.06.2018 and many things have been changed on the world as well as the patches of the store's download location changed throughout the time.
So, Where is the current location for Google Play Store? I mean the location before installation.
Why do I ask this?
I downloaded a large apk file from Play store. It was successfully downloaded but because of a configuration I use Google Play Store was unable to install it. After I turn this configuration off it installs the apk files without problem but when enabled it is not possible. Anyway, I don't want to download it again and if I forget to turn it off again in the future I want to learn the temporary download location of this apk files so that I can install them on my own if Play Store fails.
I had searched on the other posts but I couldn't find it in the locations mentioned in the previous posts.
I use Android 7.0 Nougat stock ROM on LG G4 H815.
Thanks beforehand.
I have honor 7 play dua-al00. I want to install google play. After doing all the procedure google play fails
I have the same problems. Up till now I still cannot find a resolution. Can anyone here please advise? I downloaded and installed the latest suitable Google Service and Google Play Store. I ran the Google Play APP and it just crashed and closed. Urgent. Thank you.
Did u find a solution i have same peoblem
i have the same problem but i think its worth adding that i'm on android 8.1
and the issue isnt that google play doesnt install its thats once installed it wont download (and therefore not install) other apps.
i think the issue is that the system doesnt come up with the authorisation box to let playstore install apps (so doesnt recognise it as a store?).
if you install amazon store and try installing something from there, it asks if you want to let amazon store install apps, you click yes and it works. for some reason it doesnt do that with playstore. you either get stuck on app downloading but doesnt download or playstore shuts down.
play services, are updated manually from apkmirror otherwise you constantly get that gmail wont run without updating services first for example. update it manually and it works for a while.
sorry, probably also worth adding i'm on (and assume we all are who have this issue) on the chinese rom (messed up at purchase!) and an alternate fix would be if we could install a non chinese rom or a custom but doesnt look like these are available?
we still need a solution to this....
