I believe it depends upon one's processor and hardware qualities.
But i have seen phones with max 2GB ram..

I noticed that when I bought my Asus eee pad transformer prime that on the spec sheet it said it was clocked at 1.3ghz.
I just checked with setcpu and it says that it's clocked at 1.4ghz.
Can anyone verify this?

How can I check to see what all 5 cores are running at? Maybe an app of some kind?

well for starters all 5cores will never be running at once. the fifth core is a companion core. a good app to check how the 4 cores are operating in real time is system panel lite. it's free. just click on the pie looking graphs up top and it'll sorta zoom in and show a pie chart of real time usage for each of the 4 cores.
Anybody notice the Developer Options now listed under setting after the ICS update, for example CPU usage?

Hi
I rooted my tf300 one week ago and i just overclocked it.
But when i look on a cpu spy it doesnt show me the overclocked speed only the normal speed 1.2
Is this normal?
I used antutu overclock app and the ezoverclock app (using at)
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
you have to switch the mode under advanced in settings to performance
Still doesnt work
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
try reset the modes in EZ
power saving 1.2
balanced 1.3
performance 1.6
You have to switch the mode every time after a reboot. Automaticly switches back to normal

Just FYI ezoverclock will most likely cause reboot looping if you upgrade to jb.

My tablet is on JB now but it seems that i can't overclock it to 1.5
Does anybody knows if the kernel doesnt suport overclock anymore?
I tried 3 overclock apps and 1.3 was the max.

Pretty sure you are only able to reach 1.5 ghz when on like AOKP or Cyanogen roms
I never saw 1.5 when I am on stock or Hydro.

Stock ICS .30 you could over clock to 1.5 but I haven't seen one for jb stock yet, unclear if kernel supports it.

It was definitely overclocked to 2GHz, but there was no mention on how stable it is. The battery usage was much higher as expected.

What about the new Nook HD+ Its only using a dual core CPU but its GPU seems to be pretty damn good. If you dont need it to fit in your pocket the 9" form factor might be a nice change, As its supposed to have a very high resolution.

If you can spend 400$ and you are not an Apple basher then iPad is at the top currently due to highest number of supported apps, nexus7 is great too. BTW see my signature too, just 150$.

Nook is a no go, Kindle Fire HD is better but keep an eye on its dev support because to enjoy it fully you'll have to root and flash custom rom, Its good on stock only for US.
