No one develop yet for our device... :crying:

[Q] How do you DEODEX a system dump?

I've been looking all over xda and various websites for guides on how to do this.
I know how to do it with standard ROMs using the android kitchen. Recently the new Motorola X system dump has been leaked and I got my hands on it... I want to start pulling features and making my own ROM based off AOSP or PAC source.
If someone can point me in the right direction that would be great!

Will this work?

If I root my device, install something as system app or modify app data, and unroot, will the changes save or will the apps convert to data/app?

So I could root, install something like a modded play store or uninstall annoying Chrome, and unroot, and it be the same? Will my offical status change?

If you root the device flashing the file via odin or via custom recovery yoy can not uninstall it... you have to download the app from Google Play Store and then uninstall it.... but i do not know if the Superuser files will remain in your device

Changing first boot image

I want to change the first image (not boot animation) , you know, the image where gt-s5830i comes.
Is it possible?

Did you mean the Splash screen that says "GT-S5830I Ace"... if yes, then no, but the second one is possible
Can't it be done by modifying kernel?
The image exists in /.Ifs partition

It's possible. Decpmpile boot.img using dsixda kitchen there you'll see logo.rle inside rmdisk folder.
Use championswmimmer kitchen to edit that rle and convert it to png and edit according to your wish then re-convert it back and repack boot.img using kitchen.
That's normally how it's done.
