What Works
WiFi
Bluetooth
GSM
Sensors
Touch button lights
Hardware acceleration
Audio
...etc
What does not work
Camera
Few minor things
Not Tested
3G / 2G
GPS
NOTE: The power button and the headset do not work together for some reason. So, you have to choose one or the other. By default in my ROM the power button works but the headset does not. So, if you want the headset to work you will have to flash a separate kernel but then the power button will stop working.
So, it's highly recommended to turn on Volume Rocker Wake in Settings -> Display otherwise the screen won't turn on.
Downloads
Download Headset Fixhttp://www.mediafire.com/?wd1eewmip66a0xb
Instructions
Copy the ROM to your SD card
Reboot into recovery (Press Volume Up + Volume Down when starting the phone)
Select wipe data / factory reset
Flash the ROM and after that flash the headset fix if needed
Reboot and enjoy

Thanks for the ROM. Can you add the gapps zip too?
Edit: These may be it: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip
TheManii said:
Finally made a new test version very much after the fact:
Notice:
This one is a test version, it is a unified zip for all dell devices.
It REQUIRES CWM 6.0+ or TWRP 2.2+ (for the S7/S10) to install.
It is not compatable with streakmod. (for the S5)
As a bonus, I made it so it includes the permissions file so anyone using that can also use the Dell Stage 1.7 widgets from the market if they wish.
The widgets themselves are not actually bundled, download them off the market if you want, otherwise you dont need to do anything.
update-Gapps-ICS-20907-b1.zip
Contents:
Gapps: 4.0.4-422743
Market: 3.8.17
Supports neon and non-neon devices now (ie S7/S10)
missing text2speech voices from previous versions
Things I'm still missing (ie they're very out of date)
MarketUpdater <from 4.0.4-338691>
OneTimeInitialzer 4.0.4-338691
com.google.widevine.software.drm.jar <from 4.0.4-299849>
If nothing is broken (due to Gapps), I will finish preparing Gapps Opt/ICS.
I've been able to seperate better (I think) the optional files from the required ones.

I've made a Gapps package for the S5/7/10 a while back, it should work on this.
(if you wish to comment on my package specifically, please do so in original thread)
3G not auto dectect and can't add apn
camera not working
i wait MIUI V4
Thank you so much, it's a long time since we last tested a custom ROM! I will try it today!
Update: first impression is good: almost all things work well, except some minor points like you mentioned about the camera:
when turning on the Wifi, networks were not shown until I added one SSID manually myself;
MUTE key does not work;
Continue testing, and will update!
I played with the ROM for a bit. Mobile data doesn't work for me (AT&T). There is a bit of stuttering in graphics but final image displays quickly enough. Touch feature is quite responsive. Pinch and zoom in browser lags quite a bit though. Of course, the OP already mentioned the camera and headset.
I'm impressed overall. It needs work but I believe things will get ironed out in no time

Does not work, I flashed libcamera_update.v0.10. Did you?
Does the X10 even use the same camera module?
Sony designs their own camera modules, and may have used their own model in it, if that was the case there's no way it'd work. If it did work then something went horribly wrong.
There are working OV8810 drivers for other devices, the question is do they require kernel mods since the donor devices all used linux 3.0 and we dont.
Installed and tested the rom for 4 hours till now. Here is the list of my obserbations.
1. boot animation need resizing
2.wifi works but the color of the wifi doesnt change to blue it remains grey
above two is not an issue at all.
3. USSD code doesnt work. ===> fix: flash the ussd fix zip file for gingerbread rom posted by Themanii previously.
4.Mobile data doest work at all. some problem i guess. u can not create apn. i tried with tweakker application but strangely it says:
your sim card can not be used. make sure u have sim card and a proper gsm signal. you cannot use this application in airplane mode. but the phone already have the sim card and i can make call with it. see the attached screenshot (Baseband issue or rom issue ????)
5. There is no ringtone sound during incoming call. if u use the headset fix kernel u will get the sound via headset but not via phone speaker.
same applicable in case of any notification,
6.Wifi and usb tethering not working.( im sure it will work with 3rd party app from market)
7. And as the OP says headset and camera doesnt work. but if u flash the headset fix u can get the headset working but power button will stop functioning . so in case restart/shutdown use 3rd party application otherwise pull out your battery
8. Automatic brightness not working.
9. am/pm style not working under settings. it will not show anything either am or pm.
10. Led flashlight not working.
11. gallery>any photo>edit>face glow/ face tan produces force closes.
* @ Themanii i flashed your gapps but it doesnt include gtalk. and does google card not working for us??
This is my observation. i will post further if something unusual happen.
Everything else works for me thats includes wifi(need to add one ssid manually),usb mass storage, bt, incoming outgoing call, voice calirity, mute during call, gps, assisted gps, compass, auto rotation., touch, youtube in Hq also works but i get sign in error in youtube continiously dont know why.
so basically i found the above mention things is not working and rest of all cm9 feature is working.

The other sgs developers and I have joined forces and can be found on IRC at the above link.
Stuff that doesn't work:
mms
bluetooth (some audio)
camcorder
youtube HQ (not perfect but works)
Torch/Flashlight in notification bar
probably more stuff.....
Stuff that does work:
calls
mute for calls
usb mass storage (UMS)
data
wifi
sms
bluetooth (file transfer & Motorola S10-HD works)
audio
market and gapps
AOSP camera (b&w preview) (turn off autofocus!)
sdcard mount
browser
accelerometer
proximity sensor
autobrightness (ambient light sensor)
miui music and lockscreen music controls
GPS & Network Location
MIUI backup
MIUI File Explorer PC Sync (FTP)
Youtube HQ works for some vids, still a bit laggy
in call volume
softkey vibrate (haptic feedback)
voodoo conversion (no voodoo lady voice though)
maybe more stuff.....
Change Log:
V1
initial port based on 1.1.21
most stuff doesnt work
V2
still based on 1.2.21
sms OUTGOING ONLY
gps works
gapps work
data works (does not work after you turn WIFI off, reboot will fix it)
still not ready for everyday use in my opinion
still experimental dont blame me if you miss some calls or texts
using jt1134's EB01 AOSP EB01 Voodoo kernel
V3
joined forces with ahmgskmod from the epic section
based on 1.2.11 now
sms now fully works
data now fully works
fixed wifi -> 3g bug (thanks jt1134)
bluetooth connects and pairs to headset but no audio for some devices (file transfer & Motorola S10-HD works)
fixed roaming indicator in notification bar
updated boot amnimation
V4
Based on 1.3.5 (thanks deeznotes for all your help!!!!!!!)
Themes work
auto DST fixed - thanks jt1134
no more call f/c on first boot
mute in calls works
CALL BUG FIXED!
calls do not mute on speakerphone (turn off speakerphone to mute calls)
V5
Still based on 1.3.5
haptic feedback fixed --jt1134
call volume fixed (in call speaker only IIRC) --jt1134
voodoo conversion now works but no voodoo voice confirmation
menu button no longer unlocks phone on lockscreen
KNOWN ISSUES:
process.com.android.phone will FC on first boot. Works okay after the first boot. FIXED
Icons are updated after a reboot. When flashing, reboot the phone to get the icons to update.
Time zone will not update automatically. Settings > System > Date & Time Settings > disable automatic date & time, set time zone, re-enable automatic date & time. FIXED
When receiving a call, the phone will ring but there is a delay waking the screen. Press the power button to get the screen to wake up instead of letting calls go to voicemail.
MIUI Music player will stop playback when the screen turns off. Other music players (like AOSP) do not have this issue ONLY FOR BLUETOOTH!!
Angry Birds doesn't appear in market. This is fixed with an updated build.prop in the next version. FIXED
Google Maps version 5 rotation and tilt. This is fixed with an updated build.prop in the next version. FIXED
DOWNLOAD
ALWAYS backup before flashing!
IF YOUR HAVING BATTERY ISSUES, TRY USING DL09 MODEM: DL09Modem.tar
V5 ALPHA: fascinatemiui-V5.zip -Includes jt1134's AOSP EB01 Voodoo Kernel
V4 ALPHA: fascinatemiui-V4.zip - Includes jt1134's AOSP EB01 Voodoo Kernel
V3 ALPHA: fascinatemiui-v3.zip - Includes jt1134's AOSP EB01 Voodoo Kernel
This CWM zip includes 2.6.32.9 voodoo kernel but will work with voodoo or non voodoo. There has been more success flashing v3 when you're already on voodoo. If you don not have voodoo enabled, make sure the file /sdcard/voodoo/disable_lagfix is on your SD card before booting!
AS ALWAYS BACKUP BEFORE YOU FLASH ANYTHING, IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE.
Please post any NEW things that are not working that are not stated above.

You day man! Thanks for working on this I will def donate when its up and running as I'm sure its a lot of hard work involved.
this is awesome. I used this rom on my original droid since it first came out till a month or so ago when i came to the fascinate. can't wait till it becomes a fully working build.
OMG...there is a GOD!!! I have been waiting forever for this ROM to hit. I am not as daring as the others to try it yet...lol. I am glad though this is getting to the fascinate.
To dev: try pppd_runner for data. Worked in the early version of kaoscinate. Just a temp fix if it works.

Wow..this is the best damn theme I've ever seen. I loved MIUI on my Droid back in the day. This looks even better...you guys have been doing some major work.
Sadly I need pretty much all the stuff that doesn't work, so I can't use it right now.
But I'm definitely gonna come back to this thread soon.
Damn good job. And good luck with future versions. Looking forward to them.
Imma definitely donate to you if this gets done soon. Definitely.

GREAT JOB... happy you are working on the Fascinate
When this is finished i will be set!!

The XK-Team proudly presents MIUI for the HTC Flyer.
What works:
- WiFi
- Pen
- Sound
- Hardware Acceleration
- GPS
- Mic
- SMS
- And everything which is not in the issue section
Click to collapse
Issues:
- The backlight of the hardware keys stay the way you turned the device off with the last Sense ROM you used. Turned your device off in Sense in landscape? Then our ROM will keep the backlight in landscape. We recommend you to keep it in portrait mode, because we disabled the landscape buttons.
- If you touch on the place of the landscape hardware keys the touchscreen will nog react on that moment.
- The pen acts a little bit weird.
- MIUI Camera App FC's after taking a photo (Install an app form the market e.g. Camera360 and it works perfectly)
- Bluetooth is not working.
- The app SoundRecorder does not do his work, but the Mic works(in SoundHound e.g.)
- I recommend not to use the lock screens with the circles, because of the resolution the circle will be not be on the right place and you will not be able to unlock.
- And for Flyer 3G users Phone and 3G are not confirmed yet, SMS works
- Found an error that is not yet mentioned here: Tell Us!

Changelog:
1.3 - MIUI 2.4.20 (no, we're not outdated, this is the latest GB Release of MIUI)
- Fixed USB Mounting
- ROM feels smoother
- Themed by default, lockscreen looks strange with music playing, change the lockscreen in Themes to the default MIUI lockscreen to fix this
- MIC and YouTube might be broken again, not sure about this as our Flyers are running on experimental ICS ROMs atm. If it doesn't work: tell us, and we'll release a hotfix ASAP.
- Camera FC might be fixed. Not sure, but I believe I took a picture once without FC's.
If the page doesn't show the update yet, it means it's still busy uploading. It should be up within 45 minutes.
If you have a WiFi Flyer: flash 3GRemover.zip on top of this, you can find it somewhere in the Flyer category here.
1.2 - MIUI 2.4.6
- Fixed MIC
- Added Phone.apk
- Added Mms.apk
- Added Talk.apk
- Added VoiceDailer.apk
- Added TelephonyProvider.apk
- Added Stk.apk
- Added SoundRecorder.apk
1.1 - MIUI 2.4.6
- Added DSPManager
- Removed Phone.apk
- Removed Mms.apk
- Removed Talk.apk
- Removed VoiceDailer.apk
- Removed TelephonyProvider.apk
- Removed FM.apk
- Removed Stk.apk
- Removed Torch.apk
- Removed SoundRecorder.apk
- Fixed YouTube issue
- Changed WiFi Scanrate to 100

Downloads are for the Wifi as well as the 3G model, the components for GSM, 3G etc. are in the ROM but unconfirmed to be working because we do not own a 3G Flyer. So tell us whether it works or not.
Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache after flashing, as we had some issues with SD-cards getting corrupts if flashed without wiping these (though a format on the PC fixed it)

Q&A:
Q: Oh no, I can't see the backlight of the HW buttons, are they broken?
A: No, they are not. Due to a strange issue concerning the keypad files, the backlight of the HW buttons are in the same state you turned off your Flyer with during the last Sense ROM. Flash a Sense ROM and they'll blink again.
Q: Mount USB Storage locks up the device!
A: Yes. We haven't looked into this because we have been working for about 12 hours non-stop now, so our primary goal was to release this as soon as possible. We'll look into the issue later.
Q: Front-camera is not working?
A: Could be true. It's because we're missing some libs, we'll look into it later.
Q: Youtube is not working?
A: Has something to do with the Omx files. We'll fix it, but it's 1AM here, so I'm on my way to go to sleep, I'll look for it tomorrow.
Q: I was playing with the brightness and now my screen is black?
A: Hehe, it seems that the lowest 5% of the Brightness Control in the status bar is just entirely black. So if it gets there, the screen is completely black. Keep Power and Volume Down pressed to get into HBOOT, and reflash the ROM. Too bad ;p We'll try to modify this scale to fix this behaviour later. (It might also be a good idea to disable the Automatic brightness Control, as it could put it in this brightness of 0 automatically, though I doubt it.)
Tips:
- If you don't have a 3G model, set your tablet in Airplane Mode, it will prolong your battery life.
- If you really really want a custom density, flash the Extended Settings for MIUI and change your density with LCDDensity and then you will your custom density(don't go lower then 180) without having crappy launcher icons. But it makes the ROM a little unstable.

Use an other Camera App from the Market (e.g. Camera360) and then it works perfectly (still no front camera though)
Really excited for this.
1.1 release probably tomorrow, with Youtube working, and some other nice stuff such as DSPManager included
This looks fantastic Chaos.
What do you mean by "weird acting pen"?
Can anyone comment if it works well enough to use in pdf editor or ezpdf?
Well, you can use it to scroll through menus etc (it's much more responsive then Sense ROMs btw., it already responds if there is a 2mm space between the pen and the device), but if you want to select something just like you would touch on something, you have to press the Filled Dot button on the pen it seems. But we haven't checked this thoroughly.
New release... , all the stuff for the 3G model is taken out in version 1.1 until someones tells us whether it works in 1.0.

ISSUES
This rom has got most of functionality of CM9.1 and, also, the same bugs/issues. For native wifi wakeup 3rd part app is needed.
CM Wallpapers have been removed for saving /system space. You can download them here: CMWallpapers.apk. You can to unzip the wallpapers from here.
Install as usual in CM9. You must to use JellyBean gapps gapps-jb-20120726-small_armv6.zip.
* For trackpad wakeup, an script has been include (thanks to winsuk from aria) in /system/bin/trackballwakeup. Just execute it in a shell and reboot.
Note "keep Wifi on during sleep" is set up 'Never' by default. Change it to 'Always', otherwise you will have reboots.
data usage is not working yet.
Voice Search with Google Now, try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1770100
To make the pop up keyboard working you need to turn off the physical kb in Lang. & input -> Default -> hardware physical kb -> off.
then, you still can use the phys. kb. but it will be two keyboards together at the same time.
Keyboard lights is not working.
Youtube HQ / Video HQ is working, thanks to Ganster41 libstagefright fix for Video decoding. However, embebed youtube videos in browser are not working.
Camera is built as LegacyCamer so it has not got former more advanced options, neither panoramic mode.
Camcording is fixed. Check quality and fps are enough,

Good rom. Camera is a little buggy it work though ... Soft Keyboard is not working.. Why is voice action not working?
Sorted the cam problem by using instagram. I tried cam ics, cam jb, zoom cam and line cam and they all kept FCing. The FN key works, but my home key doesn't.
trying to restore apps. sometimes they're crashing, sometimes working.
calc. doesn't work, keyboard doesn't pop up. no lite on keyboard, shift or fn.
the big issue is wifi! because it doesn't download. the same problem i had on ICS and unfortunately i did not find a solution .
to make the pop up keyboard working you need to turn off the physical kb in Lang. & input -> Default -> hardware physical kb -> off.
then, you still can use the phys. kb. but it will be two keyboards together at the same time.
Find gallery2.apk for mdpi might fix cam issue

Wifi is reported it works fine. It is possible a issue with your router; try out only b/g type connection instead of b/g/n or b/g/n/a.
The device tree is updated: https://github.com/zeubea/android_device_htc_espresso. Someone could check overlay, keylayout, keychar files are ok. (I can not test this because I have not got the device ).

Oh I'm sorry! I was wrong!!!!!!! It can't upload! Downloading is fine, but uploading is not working. This issue I have since ICS, the CM7 works just fine and I don't think that the problem is in my router.
I'm gonna wait a bit until you fix some bags and then try it again.

I still have to use Evervolv's vold to get it to properly mount the sdcards, pull qcom/gps from CM, and I did have to make a new omni branch of device/vigor which I just pushed to my github. Outside of those three things, everything came from the team vigor repo and straight from Omni.
Hey, think I might test this one. Can you give me a sense for battery life? Maybe similar to Evervolv?

Honestly, I don't really know. I know all the device configurations that I use specifically are the same. So unless some of the built in apps are pure battery hogs, I can't imagine it being that much worse.

Thanks... I just flashed it and I'll let you know what my experience is like. Thanks for giving us more options!
Ok, here is a report from a person running a SIM'less setup. I have data and MMS, working well. I got one freeze with the pull down shade hanging (had to do a battery pull). There is still a little oddity with the camera / gallery setup... the gallery froze up once with me and was a bit laggy at times. The camcorder did record but would not play back the video I recorded or a video I already had on the SD card from a previous recording. Oh, and the capacitive lights do not work... the buttons do, just not the lights.
Otherwise, this seems like a pretty smooth ROM and hopefully, these few oddities will be ironed out with time. Also, I love the boot animation! Thanks!!!

Hmmm... Interesting. Time to start debugging I guess.
The initial camera problems I had were all permissions issues. I'll have to take a look at all that stuff again and see if there are more.
Camera issue is fixed and I might have the capacitive lights issues sorted too. I've got to wait for the build to finish.
Edit: Capacitive button lights issue resolved. Build uploading now.
Only installed it last night, but so far so good for me. Had some troubles with getting root initially, but after installing SuperSU a few times/different ways and a couple reboots I eventually got it straightened out. I did a full wipe including int/ext sdcards and also went back to TWRP 2.6.3.0 so maybe that had something to do with the root thing?
My capacitive buttons are completely dead, they quit on me a month or so ago. So I actually prefer the lights off anyway since the buttons don't do anything. That's good news on the camera though- haven't tried the camera at all yet.
New ROM uploaded, links in OP updated.
Just flashed. Looks good, so far. One thing I do not like (and pretty much the only thing I don't like about Evervolv) is the keyboard. On every other ROM, the AOSP keyboard had all the long-press options for special characters. These ROMs do not. I tried installing the keyboard apk from another ROM and it worked fine until a reboot when it would revert back. Maybe it's a CM thing and that's why these ROMs don't have the keyboard I want. I guess I could install a keyboard from the Play Store, I just usually like to leave the keyboard alone. Any suggestions?
Thanks

To God be the glory, my Slim7 Nougat project finally works on the Note Edge!
This is a very slimmed down version of Android Nougat, almost a "vanilla" experience with a few tasteful perks! By design, this ROM comes without root for those who wish to have a "pure" version without the entanglements that come with root, but it can also be easily rooted by using chainfire's SuperSU (see below for instructions and downloads). In it's default form, it is perfect for those banking apps, workplaces, and games that require you to have a phone without root. No need for tricks or hacks, all while having the latest and greatest Android on your Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
If you do decide to use root, then you will be pleasently surprised to know that Substratum and layering works with this ROM. While not perfect, for the most part it functions well in my initial testing. However, if you find problems arise after installing a theme, please remove the theme to make sure it is not a substratum related issue.
**** This is an UNOFFICIAL ROM. Install at your own risk! ****
This SlimRoms Nougat ROM was built for the TBLTEXX using modified LineageOS TBLTEXX trees. I have only tried this on a TBLTETMO device, using the datazip files, but you are welcome to try it on anything AT YOUR OWN RISK. The updater script would need to be edited for something other than TBLTE, TBLTEDT, TBLTEXX, TBLTETMO, TBLTECAN. Chime in if it worked on your device.
A huge thanks to the SlimRoms Project team!
Disclaimer: SlimRoms is not responsible for any damages to your device.
All of my work is completely available for any who wish to use or modify it. I didn't make SlimRoms, the device trees, or vendor blobs. I simply used and edited existing material. A huge thanks should go to those who actually created this stuff.

However, there is a TBLTETMO/TBLTECAN version of this rom in the T-Mobile thread, but I did test that this worked.
This Rom has been stable for me, however, Nougat is new, so be prepared for some little hic-ups here and there. Be sure to follow these installation steps very carefully, as they may be different then what you are used to.
!!!FIRST BOOT TAKES LONGER THAN 5 EARTH MINUTES TO COMPLETE!!!
!!!IF YOU FLASH SUPERSU, IT WILL REBOOT SEVERAL TIMES DURING INSTALL, THAT IS OKAY!!!
Installation instructions ( TO BE NON-ROOTED ) :
-YOU MUST BE ON THE 6.0.1 MODEM and BOOTLOADER!
-Download ROM, and if desired, AKLU kernel, and gapps, and put them on your phone's external storage.
-Reboot into recovery mode - TWRP (I personally installed this using 3.0.0-0).
-Backup what you had. (Just to be safe.)
-Wipe. (I personally wipe everything prior to flashing new roms, but at least do the basic wipe.)
-Install Rom.
-Install Gapps. - Optional
--> OPTIONAL - After first boot, then go back to recovery and install the AKLU kernel. (Note that without root, you cannot change the settings of the kernel, and it is a bit agressive in the default state.... I don't recommend this for non-rooted phones.)
--> OPTIONAL - TBLTETMO/TBLTECAN users can flash the data zip files after the first sucessful boot.
Installation instructions ( TO BE ROOTED ) :
-YOU MUST BE ON THE 6.0.1 MODEM and BOOTLOADER!
-Download ROM, and SuperSU, AKLU kernel, and gapps, and put them on your phone's external storage.
-Reboot into recovery mode - TWRP (I personally installed this using 3.0.0-0).
-Backup what you had. (Just to be safe.)
-Wipe. (I personally wipe everything prior to flashing new roms, but at least do the basic wipe.)
-Install Rom.
-Install Gapps -- Optional.
-Let the system boot up.
-Go back to TWRP.
-Install AKLU kernel. - Optional
-Reboot to system.
-Go back to TWRP.
-Install SuperSU.
-Let the system boot up. Note that it may reboot a couple times during the boot animation, that is okay.
--> OPTIONAL - TBLTETMO/TBLTECAN users can flash the data zip files after the first sucessful boot.
-Enjoy!
Code:
What works:
So far everything that I have tried works, such as
- Camera for video and pictures (use orange camera app, not traditional blue camera app.)
- Phone calls/receiving
- Data 2g/3g/LTE
- Bluetooth
- WiFi
- PTP/MTP
- GPS
- WiFi hotspot
- Multi-Window
- Fingerprint sensor* See notes.
etc....
What doesn't:
- Notification LED only shows RED and YELLOW. To show YELLOW, choose CYAN as the notification color, and it will show up YELLOW. All other color choices appear RED.
- The automatic time zone function forgets where you are alot. Use the manual time zone instead.
- Choosing to reboot the phone sometimes takes a loooong time. It may be better to Power off and then start the phone, which is faster for some reason.
- Built in blue camera app sometimes gets "stuck" or freezes or crashes, I tested several other camera apps, and all worked fine, including the orange camera app and opencamera from the fdroid repository.
- There is no "edge" feature at this time.
- Let me know in the forums if you find other issues.
Main Features:
- Merged with android-7.1.1_r13
- SlimDim, now with 100% more dimming
- SlimAction, Splits screen action (long press app in slim recent)
- SlimRecents, an alternative recents
- Notification log (long press statusbar header)
- Kill app from notification (long pres app notification)
- Substratum support (if rooted)
- OmniSwitcher built in so the kill function works with or without root.
- Advanced reboot (found under security settings).

ROM OS Version: 7.1.1 Nougat
ROM Kernel: Linux 3.10.40
Based On: AOSP and LineageOS.

Created 2017-02-23
Last Updated 2017-02-24
Change log:
Code:
20170223
-Fixed home button screen wake.
-Fixed WiFi hotspot.
-Added texting app.
-Added OmniSwitcher as optional switcher/tasker (makes a good "edge bar" since you can pin apps).
-Initial release!
Notes about the rom:
Fingerprint sensor:
I have successfuly used the fingerprint sensor, but it is a bit sketchy. To make it work:
- Go to register your fingerprint under security settings.
- I registered all 5 of my fingertips all at once, by clicking add another, and only 2 of them "stuck" when I clicked done. I redid it registering one finger over and over again several times, and it eventually registered and stuck.
- If after clicking done, the fingerprint settings says x-number of fingerprints registered, then those fingerprints are working. Once registered, then you can use it in apps, and for the lockscreen, which did work about 1/2 of the time for me.
- If the lockscreen does not show the "fingerprint" icon, reboot to make it appear.
Open Source apps:
There are quite a few really good open source apps included in this build, such as:
Browser app
Amaze file manager app
SatStat GPS app
Camera app (orange one)
All of these great apps and more can be found at https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/. You can also download other great apps there like music players, games, and everything else you might need. The Fdroid app allows you to maintain up to date version control and simple downloading and installation of these apps and is a lightweight alternative to the Google Play Store. that is certainly worth taking a look.

I love this rom, yet more great work from AKLU, but a big problem I have noticed with the rom is that Ambient Display stays on, even when disabled in settings. It drains battery pretty bad and causes my leg to press screen in pocket. Thanks for your hard work!

As for the ambient display, it is in the settings menu twice, once under "display" and once under "gestures" do you have both off? Does it still happen if both are off? Thanks!
Actually, I think I fixed it. The gestures and display menu settings copy each other, if I turn off in one, it turns off in other and vice versa. But I found that if you turn it off and on twice, the setting seems to stick and it turns off. If you only turn it off once from it being on after first boot, the setting doesn't stick until you cycle it one more time. The ROM runs amazing though, and isn't nearly as power hungry as TouchWiz; Qualcomm quick charge actually charges quick now! Another bug I have found however is that stuff like gyroscope seems to freeze up along with accelerometer. Google Cardboard for example immediately stops responding to the sensors. And there are times that the device will stop auto rotating, a fix to that is to open YouTube app on a video and it fixes. This is still a fast and amazing ROM though, I just wanted to let you know about these bugs too, so they can be looked at. I appreciate your work a lot. You and Mickey387 are pretty much the only people keeping this dev scene alive. If you need anything like logs or to test something, I would be glad to help!

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, @Mickey387 is the man! I mostly just fine tune his really great work to use it on these other roms.
I am currently testing a new updated build of this rom, so that should be out soon. This is Slim 0.7, and I am testing Slim 0.13, so quite a few fixes, although not much more in the feature department, just keeping it slim. Interestingly, they did change the SlimLauncher to be more like the PixelLauncher, rather than the traditional TrebuchetLauncher style.
It also should fully support OMS, rather than legacy mode, but I am still testing that.
As for testing, yes, anytime that you have an error, please take a logcat, I will be able to help much better if I have logs to work with.... That being said, if you wait a few days for the new release, then test and log if the error persists, that would be great!
I use this great ROM till one week. I use it without the UKLA-kernel, with the hope to get better battery drain.
For me is one little problem. The inactivity display is a nice feature. But when I get a notification, the display is to dark for daily use. When I want to start the phone by active inactivity display, the display keeps dark. I have to press the power button twice to get full light. That's a long way.
Perhaps this is a normal nougut-feature?

Part 2 - I have to change the train. [emoji3]
Because of my little problem above, I try to disable the inactivity display, but unfortunately the solution from DaKillaz98 doesn't work for me. [emoji17]
Well, I found out that the solution worked until I rebooted, now ambient display is stuck on. Knickelei, the ambient display staying dark is a bug with Android not restoring brightness values after the screen has been turned on. Another bug I found is that the camera display when taking a picture in Facebook Messenger is really warped and weird. I will provide logcats when I get them.

This rom should work on your phone. As long as you are on the 6.0.1 modern and boot loader.
Also, you can use this rom:
