I accessed Hidden Menu with 3845#*620#and clicked on Device Test.
Now my device rebooted and showed Mini OS 3.0
Every time I reboot it is stuck in this "OS". The are multiple options but all of them except All Auto Test - Partial have (+power) and i can't click them. What does that mean? There's also an option Normal Boot.
Please help!

Try the normal boot options, if it doesn't work use KDZ, it won't wipe anything.

Hello guys, Can you help me ? did something wrong... flashed stock rom and it keeps rebooting can't get into recovery to reset phone
Try holding the home, power, volume and volume down at the same time. It works like a rest i resorted to it myself not ling back. Once it starts up hold the usual home, power and volume up button to enter recovery. If you have a rom on sd card you can flash as usual. This is my first post on this forum by the way so if i was of any help to you couls you send some thanks my way please

Sorry was so eager completley forgot about the stock rom part, the worst case scenario is using odin to flash stock firmware and recovery.

Can you boot the phone to test mode? From phone off state, press power, vol + and vol - at the same time.

You may have to use the test point method to get into "EDL mode". Using the volume buttons and connecting power is difficult to do (I never managed to boot edl that way).

I faced same problem while unlocking RN3 with unofficial mode,
You can fix it by going to fastboot mode by pressing vol down and power button, And then goto EDL mode from fastboot (google it)

The op has already stated that the device can not go into fastboot mode.
one step forward to my phone situation
Yesterday i tried with your method but it is not done... And then by chance i jst hold down the power key for 3 -4 min.... n the MI logo appears ... ... After that user interface appears ... Showing battery charging from 0 % ... M very glad but suddenly it again switched off n red light started blinking .....
Then i again pressed power key for the same time it started but swtchd off with the same. ...
Now plz help me what to do now ... How can i charge this from 0% without turning off my device ...
N very thnks all f u for ur precious suggestion
your device is bricked. Simply search for mi unlock and follow the steps. Unlock the bootloader with mi unlocker app and flash any rom thru twrp. If you have no twrp installed whatsoever go to en.miui.com, head to downloads, select ur device, press install guide or whatever they say and in the left side of the screen select Fastboot and follow the steps. Does the charging icon appear when charging your phone while it is powered off?
Other than test point method linked above which requires your device to have a good charge. I have no other suggestions.

Read the op, your suggestion don't help because the device can not enter fastboot mode. Also need a working device to be able to unlock it.

Plug ur device to a power source, e.g. to the power adapter itself, via the usb cable or to a computer and keep pressing power + volume up and see what you get.

No while power off no charging icon appears ...nor the red light become stationery (as in the normal condtn) .... The device will heat up if remained for charging......
While if i press power button with charging for 3-4 min the device turn on ... Home screen appears, charging also started showing with the stationery red light at 0% battery status but within a 6 7 sec whole device again turn off ... Red light again starts blinkin ...

Where or who did you buy the device from? Any chance you could use the warranty.
Difficult I know if you have imported the device.

Alternatively bring it into a phone repair shop with "No Fix - No Fee" policy. Also that quotes you a price before starting work on it.
You have to use the test point method. I had the same thing happen the other day after I flashed a radio. Trust me it's the only way to fix it if you don't want to send it in. Just be patient and make sure you dont destroy any cables or connectors

Here I share my experience wid u guys.
I was trouble from a big Horrible Situation really like a hell.. After flash this ROM my Phone getting DEAD, Doesn't Power On, Doesn't Charge & Even Can't Enter into Fastboot & Recovery mode.. And even not Showing Charging symbol when i connected to the charger.. I mean Completely Dead. Only Red led blinking when ever i connect my phone to PC or connect to charger..??
After this was happening i get out of my mind.. Then i Removed the Bank Panel of my phone & Discontent all the cable & ware attach to the Board..& open up all the screws then tried Test Point Mode to enter EDL mode.. I tried many hours from yesterday night but no success..
Then I decided to go to Service Center.. Today morning i go to Service Center & they told me that need to change motherboard.. I asked how much it coast to change.. They told that almost Your Device Price 90%.. I told it means around 7-8 thousand? They told me Yes.. I told no need, I'll buy new One.. & then they ask me for a Offer.. That if i sell my mob. in that Condition so i think & told around 7,000/- they told my in this Condition they can give me 1,000-1,500.. and i didn't accept the Offer & come back home with my brick device..?
I didn't give up, then Sometime ago around 2-3 hours ago i've open my phone & all the screws again.. & again try test point method if i get success.. Then after spending many hours, luck by chance. Suddenly I get Com Port in my MIUI flash Tool, then without wasting a sec.. I just Select my Before Downloaded Stock MIUI Fastboot ROM & flash it Immediately...
After Successful flashing, i just Plug all the wares & cables back in my phone & just try to Boot my phone into Fastboot mode & Check if it fix.. Then i saw my phone Booted into Fastboot mode..Then i Screwed all way & Put my Back cover again & Press & hold Power Button.. Then thanks a lot finally my phone Back to its life again..?✌
Friends really it was very horrible experience for me.. I had never faced such a critical issue before..
So don't even & ever try to Flash This..

I tried pressing the power button for 5 minutes, but no use. Phone wont start. As it is under warranty I will not be opening the back cover to reset the battery. Most probably this problem can be solved by disconnecting the battery for about 1 min and then connecting it again. Or reconnect the battery as soon as once the phone is connected to charger and the phone starts without battery. As for mine I am going to take it to service center and let them do this for me as my phone is under warranty. Will post the results once they do it..
I'm with the same problem. I think the phone is not charging..
I opened the phone and I unplugged the battery and later the usb but nothing thanks. I would not want to try pin method.
Remove the back remove the battery cable, Plug ur charger ur device will show mi logo plug the battery cable back and leave will charge eventually. Its just the battery which is dead.
Remove battery belt for some times and after that restore belt as it is .....but phone condition same as it is no charging only red light at the corner of display is blinking...continuously

Hello, i think im facing the exact same problem. Were you receiving "USB Device not recognized" and "Unknown Device" at the windows device manager?
It has been a while since I've done anything with my tf201, and I remember that there was some funky stuff going on with bootloaders. Like if you flashed the wrong file on the wrong bootloader you bricked your device forever. How can I tell which bootloader I have?
Also, does anyone actually have a usable ROM on their tablet? Mine is laggy as hell. I have to click and wait like 4 minutes for something to go. Like Netflix for example, takes like 10 minutes to open the app and click around for a bit. But once it finally starts a show, the video stream is smooth. Really strange to me.
Thanks for your help!
Hold the VOL button DOWN while powering up the tablet, continue to hold both buttons until you get the fastboot screen, bootloader version will be at the top line number 2.
