As the recovery is now fully working me and many of you are going to root our phones. But if we have to return it we need a ruu to get back to stock. As soon as anybody can post the link here we can start to root with no worries. Thanks a lot!

can i repair my imei wiht flashing a ruu? i forgot to backup my efs folder and now he is gone. i looked it up with rootexplorer and i can't found him. Or is there a other reason how i become my imei back? i have a htc one x + international version with version 1.17.401.1 and hboot 1.35.0000. Without imei and mac adresses i can't connect to wlan and mobil network. What can i do? I would us this ruus but i haven't a premium account and so i can't use it...

i nuked my IMEI too, just re-RUU and everything will be fine
should i relock the boootloader or is it not importen if the bootloader is unlocked for the ruuing?

Just to clarify the above post, you must relock your bootloader before using the RUU. At least this is how it works on the ATT HOX+ and I'd imagine it is the same for the others.
Anyway, if you have trouble just relock bootloader before using the RUU. You can always unlock it again using the code you received when you unlocked it the first time.

so i tried to reset my phone to original factory settings but got the following error when trying to install the RUU
error 140 bootloader version error
the HBoot version on my phone is 1.35.0000 and the RUU im trying to install is:
RUU_ENRC2B_U_JB_45_O2_UK_1.14.206.13_Radio_3.1204.167.31_release_289474_signed
from what i understand, my HBoot is a higher version than the RUU.
is there anyway that i can get the newer RUUs or downgrade my HBoot version
please please please help

my cid is 02___001 if im not mistaking
our devices are s-on that means we can't downgrade bootloader.
if you want to go back to stock you will have to use a RUU with same hboot or higher (when it's availlable).

oh damn. but one more thing, i have found the the latest stuff on the http://www.htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads
basically it says that it has the kernal 3.1.1.0 and the rom 1.17.06.1 which is what i need. but it's a zip file that contains a file called :enrc2b-jb-3.1.10-f362097.tar.gz
is this the same thing and if anyone know, how i can apply this to my phone?

These are kernel sources so not for this purpose...
Did you relock your boatload before you tried to apply ruu? Also what hboot version does this ruu have?
If not working best bet would be to install almost stock rom from dev forum and stock kernel of you really want that. For what purpose do you want to go back to stock?
If it doesn't hurry you may just wait for a newer ruu to be uploaded and until then use a flashed rom.

I want to re-use the original rom with the original hboot, because after I installed the hboot rom android revolutio 1:35 and the camera is embassada, looks to a camera of 2 mega pixel.
Can anyone help me get back to the original factory rom?

If it is not too cumbersome, you could tell me if when I put the original rom back again also old firmware. For after I updated the firmware to 1.35 to hboot my camera is in any rom with images like a camera with 1.3 mega pixel resolution. It was very bad. I've asked many people to help, but nobody can help me, and if you can I'll be very grateful.
Have reinstalled the firmware again and plumb so when I install any rom (HD Android, Venom, Elite Icon) is the camera with the image as if it were a little grounded.
Help me please, if you can.

I'm telling you after firware upgrade hboot hboot to 1.35, my camera no longer works right. It seems that 8 megapixel she now has only 1.3. The picture quality is terrible. I wonder if when I reinstall the old and original OS, the firmware will return to hboot1.32 ...
It will not be able to downgrade Hboot until S-Off is achieved. Maybe with the stock OS everything will be alright. I didn't had problems with a reduced camera quality.
Hello, i have curently installed InsertCoin Rom and have see now that i have "Dead Pixel" and will send it back.
Problem is i have Hb 1.52 and S-On on my Phone and found only faqs for ruu and S-off Phones.

I have only found faqs for HTC one with S-off nothing with S-on and 1.54. Can i use a RUU File for my Phone ?!

I have a htc one without Carrier Thats from htc . RUU file from Europe i cant Flash , that dont work for me. Is there Never an nandroid Backup with stock fw or a zip file with stock?
