Wasn't quite sure where to post this, but is there a way to have the lock screen unlocked without having to hit "ok"after entering the correct pin?

Try installing another lock screen... Never had that problem myself, but that should do the trick...

Hey!
Changed my lock screen pin today, but apparently entered it wrong (twice?) so it wasn't what I thought it would be...
How do I go about unlocking it? I really don't wanna reset the device or install a new rom!
My Galaxy Nexus is rooted, I have gmail pw, ADB access and pin code...
Please help fast!
Thank you
if the phone still has access to the internet (wifi or data) then once you try to enter the lock pin incorrectly a few times it should ask you to login with your gmail password, which should then unlock the device allowing you to change the lock pin.
Failing that there are methods involving adb, do a search on google as I think some people have unlocked it using adb.
Hi all,
I'm using samsung galaxy s2 with CM9 android 4.0.4, rooted phone. i was going through the security settings and did 'ENCRYPT PHONE'. After completing the procedure (which took around 45 mins to complete) there is no option to unlock my phone using slide unlock, face unlock, pattern unlock and none options. and every time my screen locks, i have to enter the password. please help me to activate the slider unlock option, as it was a cool feature on my phone. i have tried everything, but still no results.
any help will appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I have reseted the pattern (successfully)
There is no Gmail details
The phone is locked with "Too Many Pattern Attempts"

its can be done when remember forgotten pattern.

Hello Gentlemen and Gentlewomen,
Well, I have a ZE554KL, with OREO 8.1 installed.
The phone is boot loader unlocked.
I use the fingerprint + pattern lock.
I know it is my fault, but I got the phone running for 2 months w/o rebooting, so all of suden, today the phone locks itself and ask for the pattern lock for "additional security". Well, after 2 months not using the pattern, just the fingerprint, I ended up forgetting it.
Now I am stuck. I cannot reset the unlock method neither via the phone nor the google device page. Is there anyway to remove the pattern lock or switch back to the fingerprint, without the need of wiping my data?
All the best.
Hi all, got a very stupid problem here. Tried to remove pattern lock from a RMX2001, afterwards the phone locked up and had to be rebooted. Now it's still asking for a pattern unlock, but not accepting the original pattern. The pattern is correct as I have another phone with the same pattern.
Doesn't matter how many times you enter a pattern, there's no prompt to say you've tried too many times and are locked out.
Any way to fix this without wiping the phone?
