The review I saw showed a distinct mark (residue) remaining and still visible.
Hope it cleans off.

Will those even be on the devices we'll get tomorrow? I was assuming those were just put on the pre-release phones.

I don't mean to be rude, and I'll answer your question, but you really need to search the forums before posting a question. Secondly, there is a specific forum to post questions to, so try to do that next time.
The face unlock feature is not active in ICS on the TFP right now. We know that a portion of it is installed into the system, but there are no controls available at this time.
face unlock is not that great.
Face unlock is not secure.

you have to be good looking to activate it, if it doesn't work, then you didn't make the cut.
sorry.

i did say currently, there's no CM9 port for us until the bootloader is unlocked.
There was a poster here who found the apk in our system - data/data/ & need root - and tried to install it but it fails to take. So it has some other dependency that blocks it.

So, I've got a friend who's LED on his camera flashes as a notification. Its looks really cool and I'd love to see that on my phone. Is there a program that does that?

Actually, I might've found it here.

If the phone is fully charged (100% notification) the screen turns on.
Phone wakes up.
If i use it in dark sleeping room i (or my wife) wake up and get blind.
Is it possible to turn it off?

You could always just turn the phone over.......
ok... its in a docking station.
not possible to turn over.
is there a REAL solution for this known?
Turn the docking station in another direction... apart from that I doubt there being a solution right now

The S2 is the same with stock ROM. There is no way to disable that. Only way to disable that is to install custom ROM/kernel.
Find it in settings and change to .bak, or freeze it if you use titanium backup?

How is it dumb? The OP didn't say it was in a dock in his first post. It's only logical if you don't want to see the screen, to turn it over.
YOUR post, sir, was dumb.

That is correct. But rather than tell him to just turn it over, I would have kept my mouth shut.
I do hope the op does find a solution, then he can turn it back over.

you would have to root the phone, then use root explorer or titanium backup to do it. The file name's are USUALLY pretty easy to figure out what they do.

Yes it is. Its a low tech solution, but a solution nonetheless.
Get a flip cover or put a sheet of card/paper in front of the screen!

thanks for the "creative" ideas
But these things are not a solution, they are workarounds ^^
If there is nothing to deactivate it. hmm. bad.
lets see what happens with other roms which i'll try in future.

Do it several more times. Like the first poster said, after a while (not immediately).
Factory reset fixed it. Along with my issue not being able to delete widgets
