system/media/audio/alarms (or "notification" or "ringtones"). They are there ..Copy them and paste on your SD Card. Then, when you install new ROM, just copy them from SD Card to same folder system/media/audio/alarms (or "notification" or "ringtones")
Thanx! I've been going back and forth from JB to ICS and I've decided to stick to ICS. Less bugs and mostly everything works. But I miss the sounds from the JB sound profile. Thanx a million! Now let's hope I can do it, I'm a noob lol.

Well, there is always an option to dual-boot . I use DT and Mwakious in dual-boot, and have no problems . But anyway, I am sure you can do this above, because have rooted phone, so you can also put any .ogg and .mp3 file in there and use it without problems. If you have any related problems, just write them here .
This is possible just because you have rooted phone. On unrooted phones this is not possible because there aro no rights to put files in system folder..

Yep. Just did a root. I never had a problem on any of my older phones with stock roms doing this though. I spose I can try flashing and see if it will let me.
Let me know if you get it working. I plan on working more on it tomorrow afternoon and I will do the same.

That's probably one of the biggest differences between the roms. That and Nova launcher. What does Jester's rom have that you Don't want? Why not just run Jester's rom and save yourself some trouble?

You have to move the apk to system/app. The libs will be missing if you don't get the flash able version though. Liquids build has it installed though so I don't see why you don't have it.

Wow, that was challenging. It took me a while to find something.
You won't find an icon for it in the App Drawer, but if you open Music and start playing a song, then click on Menu, you'll see Sound Effects. Click on that toggle Equalizer on at the top you'll have some options.
It's not the same as BEATS, but unless you're an audiophile and have really good headphones, it'll probably suffice.
I'm listening to Enigma - Sadness just through the phone's speaker and adjusting the settings makes a noticable differece.
Newtoroot's sense 4 ROM has some music effects built in it. It's definitely worth checking out. Just throwing that out there.

I have been running liquid smooth rom since the day it came out .So already set it up and customized it the way I wanted . So I would hate to do it all over again with the jesters build just to have the awesome beats audio .That would be my last option

Backup launcher settings and desktop then do a tibu and flash jesters. You won't be disappointed. I find it to be smoother and better on battery.

Battery life is actually decent.
Programs always run in the background. You can end them, but they come back up. Which is normal because it was designed for devices that have 1GB of RAM.
It's laggy, but its expected.
I figure the lag is probably why we didn't actually receive the Android 4.0 ICS update. It's a great ROM though.
Sent from my ADR6400L using xda premium
Nice. Lag will probably be lessened if ans when we get a new kernel.

Hi, a while back before I installed CyanogenMod on my device I was running a stock 2.2 rom on my rooted g5.
For the fun I decided to modify framework.apk to change the status bar and stuff like that, I also edited settings.apk to match and added some apps into system apps. Anyway my point is would anyone be interested in turning this into a custom rom? Would people want to flash it? The idea is to have all the stablity of stock with better looks and features. We could call it 'StockMod G5' or something. Good idea? Bad idea? Leave your comments below on what you think, it might be stupid I don't know
Ur just trying to make a custom rom based on stock!..its a good idea no doubt

Does anyone have advice on how to Deodex a stock rooted incredible 4g LTE ROM? There are a number of methods out there on the internet but none specific for the phone. Any links, threads or suggestions would be awesome. I have some minor experience with ADB and toolkits. Thanks ahead of time to those that respond.

He's asking for a how-to guide on how to de-odex a ROM.
Answer: There won't be any specific ones for our phone. It's generally the same process regardless of phone. Depending on which guide you use, the guide may point to the sdcard folder, and the actual SD card on ours is sdcard2, unless you use the SD card swap mod. It won't make a difference as long as you have room on your internal storage if you use the sdcard folder.
The apps are the only other difference, in that no two unique phones have exactly the same apps you need to de-odex.
Simple and easy guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1600805
Now decode...how do you create the update.zip for flashing the deodexed system app and system framework to phone? Thanks.

Hey all, back when I used jellybam I downloaded the bravia engine to improve picture quality I really liked it. Now my problem, I still have the zip but am wondering if I could still install it on the ATT stock jellybean ROM. I don't want to brick my phone as I got the file from a 4.2.2 ROM and don't want to risk it. What do you guys think k?

I wouldn't risk it. 4.2.2 and 4.2.1 are different builds. But I am sure some brave soul has tried. My suggestion is to keep searching you will get your answer

That's what he was saying........4.2.2 and 4.2.1 are diff builds .. Meaning as to 4.1.2........just sayin .........also I wouldn't recommend flashing it if you are scared of a brick ...if you do good luck though

You can flash it just fine i've flashed the one op mentioned on many 4.2 ROMs but never really noticed a difference.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
It won't brick your phone. But if it isn't compatible, it will make your phone lag and give a bad video.
So just make a nandroid, then flash the app. You can easily revert. If you have to revert, don't forget the necessary wipes, or you might not remove the pesky thing.
