Ok so first of all, im not stealing anybodys work, this entire rom is made by voetbalremco and i take no credit for that, but im trying to get some bugs fixed and i need testers to see if my fixes works.I will upload the rom with some changes in order to get the mic working, will try wifi later.So test and report, thanks.

hahaha lol ,Anyway im trying to fix mic and wifi, and i already ask pulsedroid for help too.I failed while replacing cm7 stock libs and smalis, and that where pulsedroid gets in, he will hopefully try to replace some 2.3.5 files for mic and wifi to work.

Lol, Thats me I got wifi working, by changing the Data xml's to act as Wifi, so no Data or Sim then, I just did that to see if the ROM see's the Wifi, and it does. So now it's just a matter of finding the right files

Big thanks to Nils and who_mike_d for the help on this. First mod but not the last. Just flash in recovery.
Looks good! Will try this out. Assuming this works on all the ICS roms? Hope so cuz not waiting for an answer.
Edit: guess only works on Nils' rom. No go on CleanROM.

Not sure if it matters, but the problem was the phone tab disappeared from the dialer program (the four tabs at the bottom).
If you want to center the in call caller id put all of the original layout xmls back in the phone.apk after you recompile

This file:
\Drivers\net\wireless\wl12xx
has definitions for the wl1283 (my understanding of whats in the amaze).
is is enough to run the wifi in the amaze?

You never know, when I got my first Android I was soft-bricked a week later. And a day after that I had Cyanogenmod.
Since he rooted it himself, it MUST have been him who changed it, or he got someone else to do it for him.
