I am using google maps 5.8 with navigation activated works smooth, and locks in a few seconds.
008bond: which apk for 5.8 do you use? I use 5.12 (I assume it is newer than 5.8) which works fine, never tried 5.8.
Also -- how do you install it? I've had problems sometimes updating the system maps apk with 5.12, but wasn't sure if that was because of my odexed ROM...
I have tried 6.2 and 6.3, signed unsigned and have significant stability issues on CM7.2...

[Q] Neutrino ROM PDroid problem

Neutrino has a builtin support for PDroid software... but i have a problem with some applications Yandex Maps, Navitel Navigation and so on... maybe Notorious544d can make version without PDroid support ? Or maybe someone has a solution for my problem. Thank you.
You can just uninstall PDroid.
PDroid not just an application... it have some lolevel patches in ROM... i think this is reason why my applications not working anymore... ( before PDroid was included in this ROM all be ok )

[Cyanogenmod 9.1 stable] ROM FM Radio support

[Okay, it's a question - but I can't delete the post, so Mod -> please move to Q&A - but it's a dev task too since a CustomRom should contain FM support ]
Hi folks,
I'm currently using the Xperia Mini [ST15i] with the latest stable Cyanogenmod. Everything runs fine and smooth so far .. but I discovered, that there is no longer a possibility to use the internal FM tuner/receiver since there is no APP for accessing it ! The latest Sony Rom included that.
Is this problem known from the other custom roms ?
Any idea how to add that ?
[For clarification: I don't mean a radio - streaming - app .. play store offers a lot of that;no, here it is about the hardware fm tuner / receiver !]

Hey Snoopo,
What settings do you use?
Anything in 2015?
Any news from radio? I will no change to newer CM, if radio not working.

[Q] Need spirit fm setting for cm10.1 (xperia mini)!

I am using xperia mini. (cm10.1 legacy rom). But radio is not working. Please give me a proper setting so that I can listen radio with spirit fm. :good:
it wont work for now no matter whatever settings u use.
the fmradio driver in kernel aren't properly working yet.

for i8552 which ROM have FM radio app or can install FMradio

for the ROMs in development section, which one has FM radio app or can install the FM radio, i8552 hardware support fm function, don't need internet. For some ROM if you install hardware FM app, it is not functionable.
