I took zte grand x via my father contract but he don't use that phone and I want to sim unlock it to use on other network with my carrier. is there any option?
I rooted phone , and im able to put custom rom but as I found on internet there is no custom rom witch will unlock sim that I need network unlock code or something?

As gagdude said, you will probably have to pay for an unlock code (though some phones can be unlocked for free). Also, you will probably have to flash back to stock ROM to input the code, as most custom ROMs don't have that ability.
I don't have custom rom its, just I flashed stock orginal zte grand x ,and I had moded one for Telenor operator with logo and stuff, and still when I turn on phone with other sim it ask me to enter code and have 10 trys to type... but I can't find any site or something when I can order code for this phone its not problem to pay. and phone is like Grand X . Mimosa X. U970... I was searching under all names. and there is no any site witch have unlock code for this phone. and 1 thing if its Grand x(u970 , one with tegra2) does it matter if it telelnor locked or idk tmobile or w/e I mean does unlock codes are different ? or I must search for Serbia.
Any good site to offer me witch are not scammers?

i am going to buy one. Grand x and Grand X IN are in supported list so i think there is guarantee that this will work. But i dont know i also 3G network will work or only 2G (EDGE INTERNET ) . Because i have 3G 2000MB internet per month so it would be good to work wiht 3G networks =)

As i am trying to find some unlocking solutions for the Grand X IN locked by telering Austria, i found a card called X-Sim and another one called UnlockItNow SIM.
Does anybody has ever tried those cards?
Or does anybody know what causes the sim lock in our phone?

Hello everybody,
I'm newbie and have problem with my XT910. I bough in China with custom ROM ICS 4.0.4 already installed. When insert another SIM( Vietnam SIM card), it goes ahead to main screen but no service at all, when enter #073887* it says "SIM network unlock PIN". I really wanna buy unlock code but don't know which carrier this phone is belong to. This is my IMEI: 356521042384185. Does anybody help me to check which carrier that my XT910 is belong to?

You boght one in China?Sounds you've bought a China Retail verison.....And I seems it canvt install othrr ROM if you don't delete the cid.

or some Asia Pacafic ROMS but almost the same - no signal. I know that phone is locked 'coz in Fastboot Mode show " Device is locked" and press #073887* require " SIM network unlock PIN" but i don't know which carrier to buy unlock code or do you have any idea to help me.

Hello all- I just got this phone (Pantech LTE A880S) and I love it but have just upgraded OTA to 4.4.2 and it seems that my OEM unlock has been locked again. I would like to root it but can not root unless it's unlocked. I can't unlock via the Pantech website because you must have a Korean mobile number to register.
I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can unlock this mobile ? I'm trying to avoid the sellers with unlock codes simply because I don't know if they are legitimate.
Does anyone have any ideas ??

Im a reasonable handy Techie, now i just refuse to pay the provider $25 to have my Alcatel Touch 5020a to be unlocked to use other SIM's either then vodafone.
How can i technically do this?
Is there a method i can break the code by flashing the firmware? Which website can i find the firmware from?

i was trying root my honor holly 2 plus. i tried get boot-loader unlock key on their official web site,that need my product id unfortunately im not able to find that on my phone in tried that number on my dial pad nothing happened. i think you guys can help me with this
