Yeah, noticed the same thing. I'm using pro widgets for my "fix"
It doesn't appear you can download sense widgets like in the past, either.

It's a bug. Friendstream is on phone but it's broken.

The Friendstream apk is still in there, but for some reason it can only be accessed a certain way that I can't recall right now. I hope this isn't indicative of a broader trend...
Android pro widgets has a good replacement for friendstream , so does friendcaster

The issue is the text, its huge. If i recall correctly the sizing for FS is in one of the frameworks Dimens. I won't post like this, but if someone is serious about fixing it then they can PM me and we can work on it and post as an add-on.

i have friendstream in ukb (taken from the j butterfly leak)
there are some bugs, but the widget does function
HTC says it will be included in the next update.. hope this helps, but no idea when this may be

I can't download from my mytouch 4g either, but I was able to restore a couple widgets with titanium backup that I downloaded while running a Desire Rom on my Nexus One and they work fine.
Well I guess it's a good thing we're all experiencing it then hope this gets fixed soon!

Hey all. Does anybody know how long would it take??
Interesting, considering that the Desire's ROM leaked a while before the Desire was released... When it was ported to the Nexus One it immediately had the widgets available for download... Then again the Espresso UI is unique to TMobile so, hard to say.

This is not the same as it was. You were able to do a word search in a library of 10000s not 20-25 widgets. This is crap!!

It works for me, but I can't do a title search, and the list of available items is less than 1/1000000s of what it was.

I hated the way the photon looked (as far as the theme went) out of the box so I've spent a little bit of time getting things the way that I like it. I didn't create anything but borrowed bits and pieces from :
Simplicity
- Most of what I have is from her. She also helped me finally get the SystemUI.apk to decompile properly.
Cloudy
-I ran this all the time on the Nexus with the T-mobile theme manager and I missed it so much!
And of course the base is Alien theme so there are several elements from that as well.
I had considered adding a customer font and animations but people will have their own preferences so upon request I'll post zips for each of these.

What skin was that for the clock/weather? I tried looking through the BW list, but didn't see anything that resembled it.

I believe so. I don't think there is a way to theme much without the system being de-odexed.

You SHOULD (please read this as I haven't tested it so make a backup) be able to flash through bootstrap recovery as long as your ROM is de-odexed

Welcome to android! You started out with an awesome phone.
I believe that you can flash this p-rom (p stands for pseudo) found here. It is de-odexed so you should then be able to flash the theme afterwards. I have not done this myself so please make sure you know how to restore your phone if things get borked.

I think what he meant was, how it it functional without voice search? Do you type in all of the questions? Also, what specifically "works"? Does it pull information from your past searches and automatically give you relevant information, or does it just load blank cards?

At the moment voice does not work ... It fails from the posts I have been reading they say it's a kernel thing so it may never work on ics unless we get a jb kernel. All searching must be typed but your answers are populated neatly in one spot ... A while ago it was showing weather nd stuff but I don't know if that stoped working.
Edit... Also sometimes the server seems slow.

Ok, i am getting an error trying to d/l any app. I'm not seeing anyone else with issue. I have rebooted, re installed etc.
If I go to play store online, it works...just not on the phone.
What stupid little setting am i not finding? And this is a free app...and so are others not working.

It seems the numbers are just way too big for the button. I use RealCalc Plus, so I don't use the basic calculator.
I agree, its looks stupid. But I guess it was designed that way. Wonder of the calculator.apk from the original incredible would work on here?

Only people with root can test that, which I don't have. It's a system app, so it can't be overwritten without root.
