What's about that? Every file manager from the market will work. E.g. solid explorer

Howto create flashable stock rom?

Hello,
I wanted to create own recovery flashable zip file within the stock rom (2.3.3DBT).
So I extracted the rom and used the system folder and the boot.img file.
Now I dont know the right content for the updater-script. Could you help me? Or send me correct one?
Thanks
Marcus

Stock boot.img wont work. You need to use CF-Root's boot.img

Is your tablet rooted?
LE- errr, silly question, of course it is, otherwise you couldn't have deleted the original app
Copy the apk to /system/app/ and change its permissions (use another app in that folder as a model).
You may need to reboot afterwards, but it's not likely, it should work right away.

[REQ] Bootanimation

Could someone off the S3 users upload the bootanimation of the device?
Or does someone have a link to it?
Thank you!
Gesendet von meinem Galaxy Nexus mit Tapatalk 2
The S3 uses QMG files. AFAIK, they cannot be read on a computer. Do you still want me to upload them?
Really? I tought it is a normal bootanimation.zip
If you can upload them, i would be very happy. I will see what I can do with the file.
Thanks.

There you go. Have fun
PS: I had to zip the file so I could attach it. The files are normally extracted and can be found in /system/media/
Thank you.

Rom manager crash when I try to download rom

Hi,
I am using cm9 and the newest version of Rom manager.
When i try to download a Rom, after 20-70 percent the Rom manager crashes.
Anybody the same issue?

Moved to Q/A, the development section is for development only
Sorry for that.
Thank you.

Don't use RM.. . But for real.. I usually stray away from apps for downloading ROMs.. the only acception I've ever made was for CM. ROM Manager and CM play nice together but thats it. Also Goo Manager was great for updating Gummy ROM.. but everything else is download via PC. Less corrupted dl's ... I think.

I've been having the same issue for a long time with my Galaxy Nexus. It seems like I can download ROMs just fine as long as I stay in ROM Manager while it's downloading. I've noticed that the problem only surfaces if I leave ROM Manager and go into another app while I'm waiting for it to finish. It'll go for a little while before popping up and saying, "Unfortunately, ROM Manager has stopped." I'm currently running CM10, but I also had the same issue with CM9.

Is there a way to root xperia sola with a mac ?!

....cause i dont have windows.
Or any rom to boot right from sd who has built in installscript ?

Use flashtool for macintosh
http://ul.to/6owdrs6t
waah, flashtool for mac works, but very poorly. Takes a lot of CPU usage, trackpad doesn't work very often, and it hangs a lot (using 10.8.3)
Also, the other tools you need don't work native on a mac, so the best way is to install XP in VMware
hmmm
