I am having troubles accessing live wallpapers on my i9300T GS3 - the option is simply not there when i select settings, wallpapers... there is no option to select from live wallpapers just gallery. I am thinking i may have to restore livewallpaper.apk?
I am currently running Wanamlite ROM 4.3 with Siyah kernel 1.7rc3. Any help would be appreciated.
So does anyone have a copy of the deodexed apk for live wallpaper? I think thats all i need.

I have not used wanamlite rom,but are you sure that you didnt disable live wallpapers manually before installation?Many roms have that feature.If you didnt choose to uninstall(not to install)live wallpappers check if your rom does it automatically.Look at the remove bloatware section or anything similar.Hope I helped a bit

Hello everyone, this is my first post in the forum. I'm a android newbie, i was a iphone user for a long time.
I started to read stuff about ROMs and Kernels etc and got interested so i changed my kernel to siyah v2. 6.4+ and the rom to wanamlite v6.7.
I was used to apply a live wallpaper by pressing menu then wallpaper and then i had an option called live wallpapers and now i don't have this option anymore, is there any way to go around this problem and make use of the live wallpapers i install? Thanks in advance!

Not sure about Wanam lite but he may have removed the livewallpapers and whatever framework / apk is needed to run them.
Have you installed any from the market and tested as well?

same thing happened to me when i first using custom rom, but it turn out that is not the custom rom, it just the titanium backup freeze feature that i accidently selected the live wallpaper when i was freezing some unremovable samsung app
I downloaded some from the market and install them but somehow i cant select them as my active wallpaper

I'm on WolfBreak's V7b6 gaming ROM, with an unlocked bootloader, Full Overclocked DoomKernel v06, and working xRecovery.
The 'Live Wallpapers' option under 'wallpapers' is missing and I can't seem to get it back, I can only see the 'gallery' and 'xyz theme' options.
I tried downloading the livewallpapers apk from AppMan, and it installs but the 'open' button is greyed out, only 'uninstall' is clickable. Also tried downloading a few live wallpapers from the market, but the option still doesn't show up.
I also tried flashing a livewallpapers zip file that I found in the forums through xrecovery, that didn't help either. I then repeated all these steps after a clean reinstall of the ROM, still no live wallpapers.
Am I doing something wrong, or is it not possible to run live wallpapers on Wolf's gaming ROM? They were working fine when I was on Wolf's stock v7b6 with locked bootloader and 2.3.3 kernel.
If it helps, these are the add-on zips that I've flashed through xrecovery:
- xLoud&Bravia for the gaming ROM
- Transparent theme for v7
- RedWolf transparent notification bar
- Grey circle battery mod
- SonyStyle custom font
I may be wrong but, its a gaming Rom and Wolf made this Rom as clean as he can and as smooth as he can to make the phone run at max speed. Options like live wallpapers wont be necessary for the gaming rom. I personally use Doom rom because its probably the best one if you want other features including live wallpapers
download attached file and copy and paste it to /system/app and gip it permission as in all the app in it ( as in SS )

I would like to use live wallpaper following the steps below I cant see live wallpaper option.
Home Screen > Menu Key > Wallpaper
When I clicked into wallpaper it ask me to choose a program to start choosing pics for wallpaper.
I tried to install launcher, install live wallpaper but that option just disappear.
Can someone help me out or something that I missed out during flashing my rom that might cause this issue?
Another question, I actually dont really care about the test score on the device. All I care is the user experience on the phone and I love this rom. But some day I install the Quadrant Standard and run the test it only score me 9XX, and that is much much lower then my previous un-rooted stock rom which runs at 13XX. Something I can do to enhance that?

The live wallpaper needs to be installed, i think wolf removed the actual live wallpaper app within the ROM, also the quadrant i have had the same thing, you could try changing the kernels OC and the Governor to see if that works, if not, post this on the actual Wolfbreak ROM forum.

does all of yours lock screen wallpaper work find after rename the gallery.apk ? i could only use the live wallpaper after the old gallery icon disappear ....... please help:crying::crying::crying:
First things first... which ROM are you using? And what does that have to do with photosphere?
If you're using a stock one, you shouldn't rename or deactivate the stock gallery app. I am not sure why, but when I tried to do that, the gallery was not an option to choose from anymore.

I know those ways, but it doesn work for me. That is the problem.
Have you tried to change the wlppr? Are u using the OMEGA JB ROM?
I think I should use maybe root explorer to change this wlppr, but I DON'T KNOW how..

Yes I had Omega and no pb with wallpaper, even with Apex laucher installed.
By launching Apex no control on wpaper ?
You don't confuse with bootanimation ?

Hi, didnt try Apex, redownload rom, still the same problem.
Actually, I have fix it somehow later plaing with live wlpprs.
Anyway, I am back on wanam 404 for now.
