I'm using X10 Mini Pro on T-Mobile HR network with Locked SIM and I'm planning to root it and change to custom ROM MiniCM7Pro. I saw somewhere that after changing ROM it causes to show that screen where you have to enter code to unlock SIM. I want to keep bootloader and SIM locked. If I change to Custom ROM, am I going to get SIM network code screen?
Do I have to change something in Custom ROM to make it work and build.prop just to avoid that screen but keep SIM locked?
I really want to do get that ROM but avoid that screen!
If you want to keep the bootloader locked, you have to use a custom rom that supports locked bootloader (MiniCM 6).
For something better (MiniCM 7), you must unlock the bootloader.
I have a Xperia X10 Mini (not pro), and it was locked to TELE2. I unlocked it (with stock firmware), and after installing MiniCM7 2.1.4 i started to receive the"unlock network" screen on each boot, and yes, it's really annoying. But after upgrading to 2.1.5 (and now on 2.1.6), that screen is gone.
So, with unlocked bootloader and MiniCM7 2.1.6 onboard = no "unlock network" screen

edit: i saw in MiniCM changelog that after 2.1.5 it is possible to disable that screen from appearing on boot, but actually, I wasn't looking for that option
Um, I didn't meant to use MiniCM7, I meant MiniCM7Pro by paul-xxx.
Did you meant that by using MiniCM7 you have to unlock bootloader and use nAa kernel because it doesn't support stock kernel? MiniCM7 works with stock kernel still.
Where's that option in MiniCM? Is there any alternate app/mod which could immediately press dismiss so that it could be easier for those users with locked SIM (not sure is it possible to suggest that idea to ROM devs)?
Additionally, I've heard that if I leave phone idle while booting, it will skip that screen because it loaded all info from SIM and it shows that note only because SIM info is not yet loaded. Is that true?

As far as I have tested on my phone, for MiniCM7 (2.1.6, or any other version of CM7) to work, a unlocked bootloader + nAa kernel is a must.
MiniCM6 works with stock kernel (and so with locked bootloader).

And for the MiniCM7PRO (paul-xxx),., I searched the forums now, because I didn't know this even existed

So, basically, they should be simmilar (at least).

Where that option actually is, I didn't find out,., but it should be somewhere in "Settings==> CyanogenMod settings",., if I find out where it is, I'll post right away

Hi I'm new and I have a XDA mini pro x10 with stock ROM, I wanted to know if anyone can help me with a ROM that is stable because all I've tried restarted and the keyboard lights stay on, I tried D4'skfix and fix the install by CWM that is here in the forum but do not work any of the 2, the keyboard lights are only paid when ambient light is clear
If any stable ROM, I would like to help me with that fundione Flipboard Application in Android 2.1, because if there is a ROM touch me leave you with Stock ROM
Note: I can not change the kernel since I can not unlock the bootloader, that the check with me NOT RECONOZIGNED s1tool CERTIFICATE

Hi I have a problem with my wifi connection x 10 mini pro with all Stock (Kernel and ROM) Android 2.1 the problem is that when I connect via wifi, it connects well and without any problem, but seeing videos on youtube stops loading the video, if it is a 4-minute video at 2 minutes and stops if it's 8 minutes or 4 minutes more stops, the same happens with TuneIn, worked perfect before and listened to the transmission of the radion without any problem, but now stops and starts charging the buffer time to time ... As could solve this problem? there is any application or in any way? I hope I can help, Many Thanks!

if you have baseband update, the rest is very easy
