How do you boot into the bootloader on this device?
I powered mine on and it went to bootloader, then I booted it up. Now I cannot get back into the bootloader.
I bought this retail and did not have them activate it yet, bc I wanted to transfer stuff from my rezound. I cant get passed the activation screen nor can I get into the bootloader
power+ vol down doesnt work for me
Go in settings, battery, and turn off fastboot.

Hey guys,
So I properly powered down my phone and went to go into the bootloader by holding vol down + power button. As soon as it opened up the bootloader the phone turned off. I went to turn it on and it flashes the white sprint screen for less than 1 sec and turns off. When I plug it into a charger the light turns on for a few secs then goes away.
I have s-off + cwm.
I have read that if your battery dies in the bootloader after installing cwm your battery won't charge and the phone won't boot. I am not sure if this is the case but was hoping to get some input.
I am not sure what percentage my battery was at when this happened.
Thanks!
Go to bootloader (cwm) and reinstall your back up rom that outta do it. And after download the rom you currently have but replace your old one and flash it over usin cwm

My phone only stays on for 1 second tops. I cannot go to my bootloader. My computer sees the phone even when it won't turn on witch is weird. I also cannot communicate with the phone with adb / fastboot etc. The only thing I have not tried is hacking a usb cable to communicate. Any advice would be great. I will try a battery tomorrow.
ADB
Wow hey ok so I can see the phone in ADB after all... List of devices attached
HT167HX05101 recovery
Is there a way to flash the old recovery?
Or can someone point me to the RUU.exe? Not the ZIP
Thanks!
EDIT:
Well never mind... I had adb and booted into bootloader and flashed team win recovery from fastboot and it failed - sending 'recovery' (5016 KB)... OKAY
writing 'recovery'... FAILED (status read failed (Cannot send after transport endpoint shutdown))
Now the light stays on when I plug in but no longer flashes when I power button and no more adb. I'm screwed
Idk what your problem is since i do not have your phone in front of me, either you deleted an import file and are now screwed no offense and cant boot your phone my suggestion is to either call or take it to the store by gettin a new one. I would tell them your phone got hot all the sudden and just crashed that way its under warentee

can you use fastboot? Also, leave the phone alone and charge it, while off, for a bit. If you come back to a full charge phone and hold vol down and then power, it should boot into fastboot, try running a fastboot command from the PC. Also, you could download twrp 1.0.2 zip and put it on your SD card as PG86IMG.zip, same vol down/power and it *might* install the recovery from hboot. Don't give up yet. In theory if your charging light turns on, you're not bricked.
hopefully this works for me !!
Thanks

Thanks for the help.
I last time I had adb I got into the bootloader by using an adb command once in there I flashed teamwin rec. It failed during install and ever since I am locked out. I can't get any commands. I wonder if it damaged my boot loader. Ill keep trying otherwise I should be able to get it swapped since it does not boot at all

Hi so I just rooted my evo 3d yesterday ( htc method ) then flashed a rom and it was working , and today when i flashed another rom , it doesnt work and i got stuck in the boot screen , when i go to bootloader it doesn't help , all it says is to do a update and when i do it reboots but nothing happen , is there anyone who can help me ASAP?
Basically you soft-bricked your phone, no worry though that can be easily reverted.

This should answer your problem, I had the exact same problem before.
This way you can flash the Stock RUU and revert back to stock, reroot, and reflash if you wish.
Edit: By Bootscreen I assume you mean the HTC Splash screen.
(Make sure you read the description of the video by the way.)
tnx for your reply but i can't access my fast boot...
What exactly can you access? Can you get into your bootloader at least? If you can get into that you should be able to boot into your recovery and fix it from there.
If you can't access your bootloader you could...
Remove Cover > Remove Battery > Wait 5 Seconds > Reinsert battery > Replace cover > Hold Volume down + Power and see if you can get into bootloader.
i can get to there , but the only thing it shows up is do you want to start update? (vol up) yes (vol down) no , when i press yes it does something and reboots but nothing happens , when i press no it says press power to reboot...
when I hold down power+ Vol down I get the lines of text, and then it goes to a screen where it shows the android and wipe files, but there is no usb option. why is that not there? wanting to go ahead and install nv flash, but it wont work without fastboot. thanks

I think your only option is to restore it via RIFF JTAG... I don't know another way...

I donno what is RIFF JTAG and Qualcomm diagnostic mode

If you haven't done it yet, pull out the battery, put it back in and try to get into bootloader or recovery. (the pulling out the battery part is important)
by the way, what exactly is happening when you try to boot? please describe step by step what is happening. And what do you mean by boot "into hboot"?
And how did you try to go back to stock? Did you even get into the stock rom. Didn't you just forgot to flash the boot.img when going back to stock?

to flash a rom I
1. Switched off my phone,
2. hold power + vol down (to boot into bootloader recovery), just blank screen no boot.
3. hold power button + vol up, again just blank screen no boot.
4. when us connected led lights up, and PC detects as "unknown device found".
not booting at all.

but did you remove the battery and put it back in or not? If so and it still does not want to go into bootloader, it really is bricked.. Bring it to a service center for repair..

That depends, if the device doesn't even shake, then it's not the screen.

I Flashed a new ROM and now the devide doesn't turn on..
Hi,
have you got acces to the fastboot mode ? ( power + vol. down )
if your device doesn't boot at all , you have to change the motherboard

As kikito94 pointed out, if you can access the bootloader then the world is yours
On the off chance, by doesn't turn on, if you mean, it does not even power up, well, in that case, it's a hard brick:crying:

If you can access fastboot, your set to restore it, if you can't acces no matter what, then I am sorry to say it but yoy should replace the device.
@RicardoArantes if you can access bootloader by pressing its key combo(Vol Up + Power), then you can flash Stock Images, and then the full UPDATE.APP package.
